A quick and easy reference to things that were said in the confessional block. I felt that the basic theme of the season is a celebration, as Jiffy noted, to their 20 years on the air and the evolution of the game. Raising the stakes makes all of these hungry sharks even hungrier. So many had confessionals regarding the "war" theme and the we are all "winners" theme. Nick had a stellar confessional about the importance of playing the new twist, the fire tokens correctly, most likely the winner will have done this. Tyson had a stellar confessional about family. As there are 12 peeps with families seems likely the winner may have one. (family person up against a non family single?) Newbies vs Old school. Alot of confessionals in this regard. Remember: Those with a confessional spike prior to their boot episode are at risk for elimination and those that fly under the radar or have a big drop in confessionals are at risk to be "hidden boots". Tony had the first confessional of the Winner season. Something to note. Confessionals Episode 1a: See Ben, then Tyson, then Tony.... 1. Tony: I have a big reputation in S but seeing my competitors it’s like, OHHHHHH Man! (See Jeremy, Wendell, Yul and Nic) It’s like the fans in football having to wait to see the super bowl in the end, it’s like Survivor waiting 20 years to see Winners at War. Cut to girls raft, see Denise, Sophie, Sarah and Parvati 2. Parv: I haven’t had an opportunity to be my diabolical self in the past couple of years I’ve been busy building a family. I’m the phoenix rising from the ashes. Ready to burn down your house! See Natalie, Sandra, Kim, Danny 3. Ethan: I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, I remember dreaming, praying, that I would be alive long eough to play S over again. And so, it is a miracle that I am sitting here today. 4. Amber: I was a kid the first time I played the game. Little did I know that I was going to fall in love and meet my husband, get engaged at the finale, win the show.....but now to be asked back for season 40, all winners? I want to win the game! Come here and win two times and beat my husband again? That would be awesome. 5. Sandra: I am shocked to see Rob and Amber. I spent 36 days with Rob on Island of the I’s and BR never told me that he was playing again. And, so, I definitely feel betrayed. 6. Ben: The competition here is the greatest of the greats and I am here to be a part of something special but every one will be guns a blazing and swords a swinging and there is just going to be limbs and hips a flying 7. Sarah: Even though I am the newest female winner out here it’s still pretty intimidating because I have 9 of the most intimidating women next to me...winners at war, it just sounds nasty. CHAllenge 8. Adam: To lose the first immunity ch that’s the worst thing because we are playing winners at war S. which means there is no easy target somebody has to go. commercial Dakal day 1 9. Yul. We get to our island and I am just super happy to be here on S again especially in an all winners edition. But seeing all these people and realizing how long ago I played, kind of over whelming. 10. Nick: We were given the island??? currency in the form of fire tokens. And, in my opinion this is the next step. These tokens are going to end up being a huge part of the game and I think the winner of this season is going to be the person that is able to use the currency correctly. I am from the newer seasons where we are used to twists and we understand there is an unpredictable fastness to the game so I think the chances for me to win this game got much higher. (winner quote?) 11. Wendell: After winning S36, Ghost Island, I think people know that I am someone that knows how to build but this season I wanted to come out here and not build so much. I wanted to build relationships but not necessarily the whole shelter again because when you are busy building, you are stuck at camp. It’s like being stuck in a corner at a party. But I also know that this talent pool is all winners, it’s a little bit different. I’m going to play my position, be cool, chill out a little bit, just get a read on them. 12.Tyson: Honestly, S has been my profession for the last 12 years. The thing that has made winning a million dollars so great is that I am able to spend time with my kids every day, and, he gets teary, I don’t want to cry on day one here. But, It’s like, I know everybody does the 9 to 5, but I can’t. Like I get to get up with my daughters and get them ready for the day, I get to hang out pretty much all day, every day. So, coming out here for me was a big deal because I’ve never left them for longer than a couple days at a time. So, yeah, I’m grateful to S for that. (Soft music plays, impactful confessional) 13. Sandra: You ask any S fan, who’s the queen, and they will say me. I’m the only person here that knows what it’s like to win twice. And, I know what it’s like to go against Tony, and I know what it’s like to go against Sarah. I played on game changers with the and me and Tony had it out. So, I am here to prove why the Queen stays Queen. Everyone wants a piece of me.They all want what I already have, which is my crown. 14. Boston Rob: Obviously I have a huge target on my myself. I was just off of season 39 where they built an idol of me. By ????? in the beginning I’m already putting myself at a huge disadvantage. Unfortunately now we have to build a shelter and then vote somebody off! The game is on already! 15. Parvati: It’s been 10 years since I played the game and it’s a little wierd playing this game connecting over babies. I’m not the flirty girl that I was once because the last few times I played I was the single girl and I came out pretty hot and heavy as the flirt. But, I’m a mom now, I’m married, I left my 10 month old baby at home. OMG, it hits me when I think about her. Being a mom is an absolute life change and it helps me to relate to people in a totally different way. I’m totally using the mom card, are you kidding me? 16. Ethan: Going through cancer is hard, but life after cancer, that’s when everything go tough. Fear of relapse, the fear of death are with you all the time. It’s not a way to live your life. And, being here to play an all winners edition of S is living! Like I want to resurrect that like young, innocent 27 year old. I get to come back and play this game, this game that I love...the game that changed my life. I am so excited to be here and eager to see how I play with this new era of S. And, so I am back and I am ready to play and everyone better watch out! 17. Denise: Losing that very first challaenge I am like, OMG, here we go again. I had flashbacks. We lost every challgne which meant then I had to go to every TC, but at least I was able to have that alliance with Malcolm. 18. Jeremy: Denise and Adam, they walk off, really rookie moves. For winners to do that is unheard of. People are just looking for something and it’s so early in the game you don’t want to rock the boat. When you rock the boat sometimes you fall out. 19. Tony: I definitely want the II and especially in a season like this. OMG, it took every thing out of me not to just take off...and look for an idol. I see what happens to me in game changers, my first 30 seconds I ran around the whole island 3 times. But right now I don’t want to put a target on my back by showing them that I am back to the old Tony Valochos antics. So, I want everybody to get nice and cofortable with me, cause rightn ow their guards are here, and they will slowly be coming down , all day, all night it’s coming down like this and when it gets down to here, BANG, thats when the punch comes in. See a mouse running away 20. Amber: People seemed pretty comfortable when the got here, they just wanted to work on the shelter and do that and I am thinking in my head, I am supposed to be out and looking for an idol? Because I do feel like I have a big target on my back because Rob and I are both out here. I had a hard time at the first challenge I was rooting for my team....I’m going to get emotional, she gets teary....but it was hard to root against my husband, I’m his biggest fan. cries. I feel like people feel like we have this huge advantage becasue we are out here together, but I feel like it’s probably more of a disadvantage than an advantage, but I learned alot from my husband, this game never stops. As soon as you sit back and relax that is when something goes wrong. I’ve got to take advantage of this time, I’ve got to do it, see her looking for idols. 21. Yul: When I played Cook Islands I played a very rational strategic game, I used alot of game theory, I used alot of math....but coming in this season I feel my biggest challenge is coming in disconnected. I haven’t been part of the S community. Alot of these people have played with each other, they know each other. Among the people lthat played multiple times we have Boston Rob, you have Tyson, they played together, they are like best friends and they not only played S together, they played poker together...and they also played with Kim Spradlin and Jeremy Collins and I remember actually watching one video where Tyson actually said something to the effect of “Hey, if we are ever on an island this is going to be the power alliance!”.Come on! 22. Sophie: Right now we have like the cool person alliance of Kim, Tyson and Amber who are all telling jokes all the time and looking pretty and then on the other side you have the kind of gritty group, and you have Tony, Sandra, and Sarah, they’ve all played together in the past. And, then you have a group of us that are kind of in the middle. See Nick, Wendell...Myself and Yul in that position. People talk about having their own meat shields around I feel like i have my own nerd shield with Yul. Like I will never be the smartest person around as long as I have Yul there talking about physics or whatever. But, the number one thing on my mind is not who I want to work with but who I want out. 23. Parvati: Rob and I have a history together that is kind of like a checkered past. Rob went after me in Heroes vs Villains and then I was part of the reason him getting voted out pre merge so I don’t know how Rob is going to want to work with me.....(Rob thinks uphill battle, does’t want to let the new school people dictate how it’s going to go.... I like Rob, and I think he is some one that I can trust because I doubt that he has very many other options. 24. Danni: S Guatemala, season 11, that I won, a long time ago it was a whole difft style of play and coming into this I was a litte nervous and I kow we won’t get very many opportunities to get rid of Rob. He’s well liked, he’s connected, and he knows how to play this game. If you have the opportunity to remove that from your game why would you not take it? 25. Ben: I don’t know how I found my self with all these winners, it’s just very humbling to be around all these greats....Boston Rob is phenomenal at what he does...it’s just insane to see him work in real life I mean on tv you see him andyou are OMG...when you are on the receiving end of like Boston Rob’s magic you are like blah blah blah...see Ben tell him it was Danni....Here’s my information, like here you go....you got it....I was star struck and just told him everything....shouldn’t have done that! 26. Boston Rob: I respect the fact that Danni told me the truth. Had she lied to me I would know without a shadow of a doubt that I couldn’t trust her. So at this point it looks like there might be an old school alliance coming together. Ethan, Parvati, Danni, myself. Us old school guys we have a rapport with each other. If we can get through this vote tomorrow together it would be mutually benefitial for all of us to work together showing the new kids the ropes. 27. Adam: I didn’t sleep one wink last night, we are going to TC tonight and one out of the 10 of us will be voted out and we are going to have to live alone on EoE. 28. Danni: There is something about playing with winners....We are all so paranoid, and I also think there is something about being that first person voted out of the game that you just do’n twant to be that person. (See Michelle with Jeremy and Nat) 29. Ethan: the pace of the game is warp speed, I am so unaccustomed to this, I have no clue what’s going on...I thought I would have a little bit of more time to get in with the group, but there is no time for that 30. Natalie: My relationship with J started obv at San Juan Del Sur, I connected with him right away and he was my number one until he got blindsided and then I played for J for the rest of my season. So, it’s not blood but it’s pretty close with J. When Adam and Denise disappeared together that was strike one. I don’t need a second reason to say, no, not them. Pick one, let’s get it done. 31. Ben. Nobody wants to pin em down, but like names are being thrown out, like Denise is being thrown out, Adam is being throwed out. 1. it’s not me, 2, it’s not me, 3. it’s not me, 4. it’s not me. But, my gut is telling me to keep adam safe because he jknows the game and he might know how to manuever through it. I gotta go with my gut. 32 Adam: I went to look for the water well with Denise. Were we having a strategic conversation along the way, of course but it shouldn’t be like the end of the world, should it? They should be way more worried about Natalie and Jeremy, because existing relationships in this game, Rob and Amber, marriage than me going off with Denise. Ethan pitches loyalty for Adam....he’s like loyal? Rob says Adam and Denise, neither of them are trustworthy 33 Rob: When Adam and Denise ran off initially, of course it put a target on their back, but Natalie and Jeremy are like this, they are thick as thieves together. They’ve played together and I realize that’s ironic coming from me because my wife is in this game with me, but the difference is she’s on a whole other island. I’m in a unique position and I can choose which way I want to go. 34. Parvati: Right now we are voting out either Adam or Denise but there is this other plan going on where it’s going to be Natalie or Jeremy. We’re literallly about to go to TC, they still have decided between Denise or Adam....Is it me? Am I missing something? Rob and I are like are we being punked? We are obviously the 2 biggest targets in this game, what is going on? People are so afraid to say the name of somebody but the clock’s ticking we’ve got to come up with who the vote is going to be than what’s going to happen at Tribal? This doesn’t seem to be a very based plan....saddle up kids it’s going to be a bumpy ride! That's never happened in the history of the show. So, the boot will be one that was featured, or one that is hidden with no confessional. Sandra got the first confessional of the show which she noted her rationale to target Amber. She got her way. (Once again an old schooler is dictating the direction). Her second confessional commented on her spreading truth, lies, and rumors, and boy does it work for her, we see her tell Nick that he is the one that Amber wants to get then Tony that Tyson is after him....then she goes on to commenting on the II that was in her bag that Natalie gave to her. Of course she would get a reaction from that. Yul boasts that he has organized the "unconnected" winners, and with Sandra and Sarah they should control the game. Last week I thought Yul was in a great spot, but with this confessional, he sounds a bit arrogant....don't think this bodes to well for Yul. Do I think he'll be next boot? No. Michelle had a reactionary confessional after she was left out of the vote. At least she got a confessional about this, I would be more worried if she was left out of the vote and didn't even get to comment on it. Clearly, we see her aligning with the newer winners against the old school. And, from what I see so far, the old schoolers are positioning better on this tribe. Ben comments on how good toehold school group is, and names the new school group as Him, Michelle, Jeremy, and Adam. If I were a betting woman, I would pick one of these four as the next boot, fwiw. Jeremy comments on the extra fire token he received from Natalie. He wants to sit on it until he knows how to use them properly. Wise. Boston Rob's confessional sets up alot for the future, and this gives me confidence that he will indeed be around to exact the revenge that we know will know should Amber be booted....he won the challenge and Amber is on her own, he can't do a darn thing about it. Amber expresses concern. Sophie narrates. Tony takes the bait from Sandra and is out for Tyson. He wants the husband and wife to stay in the game as the biggest targets. We know who got their way....Sandra, not Tony. Tyson has a meaty confessional commenting on his switch to directing the game to survival mode the minute he hears it's not going as planned. We see him confer with Tyson and Nick beautifully, he's forfeiting the battle to win the war....a Man of ACTION! Tyson is far better at reading what's going on than he was in Heroes vs Villains, that's for sure. I say he's safe for next week! Kim has a heartfelt confessional that is last before TC....noting that she now knows how it feels to be playing from the bottom, not the top. But, we are noting that Kim has a great read on the dynamics. She's a killer players, I have HOPE for her. Tony is the one that over reacts. I have fear that when this tribe goes back to TC, that Sandra has it way over Tony, and he's expendable. The only ones that got confessionals from Sele were Michelle, Ben, Jeremy, Boston Rob. If this tribe goes to TC, I think Boston Rob is safe as a member of the old school. Michelle is clueless, Ben and Jeremy are at risk. If Dakar goes to TC, I think Tony. At least that's my read for now. Here are the confessionals for Episode 1B: 1. Sandra: It’s very rare for me to take something so personal, and to feel hurt about it. Back on I of the I’s BRob told me that he would never come out here. I said I didn’t want to play with my emotions out here I wanted to play a strategic game but it’s just every time I see Amber which is all day I think about it so if the opportunity would arise, Amber would be one of the first to go. If I have any thing to say about that. 2. Yul: People are trying to recruit like Soldiers into their alliances Sarah and Sandra are trying to align all the un connected people but as it turns out that alliance that are sort of all the one time players that are kind of disconnected with other winners is actually the alliance that I have been organizing. And, that is me Nick Wendell and Sophie. The great thing is that I don’t think people even know that this all exists and with Sandra, as well as with Sarah, we’ll have the numbers. In fact, we’ll control the game. (Winner quote?) 3. Michelle: Tribal probably couldn’t have gone worse....not that Natalie went home but that I was left out of the vote. I went into this with so much pressure cause I feel like I had something to prove. People were surprised by my win when I was up against people that played bigger flashier games than I did. And, now to not have the numbers is the worst possible case scenario. 4. Ben: That old school group is good at what they do and now they are running the show. So myself, Michelle, Jeremy, and Adam we need to figure out as “new” players how to stop this leash leading because we are like a bunch of goats. We can take control of this part of the game. 5. Jeremy: It really sucks losing Nat, it’s a punch in the gut, but this season when some one gets voted out they can bequeath a fire token to anyone in the game. We all started out with one fire token and this AM I see a fire token so now I have 2 fire tokens,2 is more than anybody here. I’m the richest on this island. Nobody knows how valuable they are, so now, let’s just wait on them to see how valuable they are... Next scene is on EoE with Natalie as she finds an idol Challenge 6. Boston Rob: Winning the challenge it’s a great moment but in the back of my mind I am worried about my wife Amber. Amber has a huge target on her because of me. I can’t do anything to help her so in this moment this is possibly my wife’s last moments in the game. Sandra or Nick, Tony? 7. Amber: I feel totally solid with Kim and Tyson but other wise I feel a little bit lost, I’m not used to this style of play but I better be diving in because I don’t think it’s changing. 8. Sophie: This season everybody’s a threat, everyone is running around trying to make a plan and the target is constantly shifting. Everybody is so out for blood I think some people think it’s a reward to go to TC, they get to vote somebody out. 9. Sandra: So I am just going to spread truth lies and rumors, it works for me (tells Nick that Amber is throwing his name out as the most recent winner). I can afford to do this because when we got back to camp after the challenge, I reach in my bag and I find this little baby....my first ii on winners at war...good for next 3 TC, costs one fire token, nothing to think about I am buying this idol regardless, now I am starting the think about the importance of the fire tokens and I am making the deal. I want to think that Natalie might have sent it to me from the edge of E. I’m not sure but I am so relieved that I have this. If I get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach I’m going to play this because there are alot of names thrown out there. Discussions are constantly being had and everything is in flux. See Sandra point to Tony and say, now it’s your name that I am hearing...Tyson just said.... 10. Tony: Tyson wants to vote me out! Oh come on, really? Alright, let’s go. They see me calm and cool, laid down and relaxed, but when I know it’s game on I go straight to 11. Tyson’s very dangerous, and powerful, he’s a very funny guy, people love him. We gotta break up the Poker Alliance, Amber, Tyson, Kim. I wat to get Tyson out of the game, Amber is not running around doing anything...plus you leave the biggest target as husband and wife in the game as shields so Tyson goes home. 12. Tyson: The poker alliance is coming back to bite me and the second I realized that things weren’t going the way I wanted them to, my strategy switched from dictating the direction of the game to pure survival mode. (Yul and Nick talking to him) I have no where else to go but into their warm pokey face embrace...see them shake on it. Then I feel bad for Kim and Amber but it’s worth it to me to forfeit this battle to hopefully win the war. 13. Kim: All of a sudden I am getting a very bad vibe from everyone! I know that I am someone that people don’t want to have in their conversations right now. There’s lots of moments of paranoia right now and people are talking and I walk up and they stop. They want to do something and they don’t want me to know about it. It’s just awkward...nobody will talk, Ive never been in this position before, in my season I was calling the shots every single TC. I do’nt think I ever understood what it feels like to be on the outs until today. This is not how I enisioned my comeback. What I think is going on is that Tyson, Amber and I are in trouble for the same reason, and in this case it’s for the poker alliance...one of the 3 of us is being voted out and there is nothing that I can do about it, this is a large group of people voting together. Who else is in Rob's alliance other than Parvati and Ethan? Whatever, his arc is rising. Slight risk? Parvati goes from zero to 2. Her arc is rising too. First was after the IC loss, one of the new schoolers has to go, then reacting to Danni out to get her. Ben's story arc is rising as well, going from 1 to 2. We see him want to change his approach to the game and work on social connections, he helps Denise find the idol. Score one for Ben! Then he reacts to the old school alliance vs the new school. Adam goes from zero to 3 confessionals, he's at risk with this and definitely in the height of a story arc....First retelling the idol story and getting half of it, next reacting to the old schoolers turning on each other, then the last confessional before TC where he vows to go after the big dogs and make that move! (cut to day one of the next cycle and in the NTOS preview we see he and Denise putting the ball in motion. ) Sophie has a rising story arc as well as she gets half of Kim's idol, and she calls herself the devil. Next she narrates the ladder drama. Tony has a rising story arc too. Telling us how to keep himself out of trouble buy doing things and building things and the ladder etc. His second was about Cops R Us worked well for him but not so much Sarah, this time he would make it up to her....foreshadowing? Ethan goes from none to 1. Narrates the Danni spills the beans regarding the old school vs new school thing. Narrates. Safe Sandra flies under the radar this episode, and we know she is having a confessional next episode when we hear that if you want to vote her out, she better not find out about it.....Hmmmm, could be at risk. Yul is dead even with one confessional, and it was narrational about Tony's ladder. SAFE Jeremy is rising from 1 to 2. His first is on point about the theme of the fire tokens in the show, and the value of them in helping his game. His second is that everything is great the biggest name out there is Danni, as long as it's not me. Rob and Parv are controlling the game, he likes to be then directing the blindsides. Hmmmm? With the help of Natalie on EoE, will take out Rob and Parv and take control of this game in this season? Tyson has 2 confessionals up from 1, both questioning Tony...His story arc is rising. Interesting that he is calling into question, Tony. Danni has one confessional about paranoia and Parv. Sarah rises from 1 to 2 confessionals. Hers were about what a great guy Tony is and they were trying to stay away from each other but Cops R Us was re-instated... Denise up from 0 to 1, her confessional is about Ben helping her find the idol...Safe Kim stays stable at 1 confessional, hers was about finding the idol, she notes she doesn't trust Tony and Nick, but she'd like to work with Sophie....hmmmm? Safe Wendell: Went fro 0 to 1, but his was narrational about Tony and his ladder. Safe Nick flies under the radar again. Safe Michele goes from 1 to 0. Safe At risk: Rob and Parv are at risk as the serious old schoolers on Sele. Ben is at slight risk, as Adam and Rob have expressed concerns about him. Tony, Sandra at Dakal are at high risk. Slight risk: Tyson, Kim. Confessionals: 1. Rob: Well, my first reaction is this is not a good thing. I have a lot of thoughts going through my head but my first thought is they took my wife out of the game first. Just the thought of Amber being on the EoE, it kills me. It was really, really, really hard for us to leave the kids. I know that that is weighing on her so if she was taken out first that makes it even harder. I do have other friends over there, it coulda been Sandra, we just spent 39 days together, but I don’t know if I can trust Sandra, but if she voted my wife out....this is war! 2. Ben: the last time I played it was all about finding idols and winning immunity but this time I want to work on relationships. Cause, going through life alone, sucks! Going through S alone sucks even worse. To win this game a second time, I need to work on my social skills. Teaching people how to find idols is a good way to do that. 3. Denise: Holy crab cakes! I just found an idol! I’ve never been so giddy and without Ben I would not have found this idol! We open it up and it’s two. I have to figure out who to give the other half too, it has no power without the other half. I thought Ben might try and convince me to give it to him. But, he didn’t and that makes me feel like I can trust him! From minute one I have been with Adam, he is incredibly smart, he knows this game so maybe we can pull in some allies to work with us! 4. Adam: The good news is, is that Denise has found the HII, the bad news is, Ben knows. That sucks because Ben is a wild card. ....What do you mean you want to give it to Parv? One of the best players that has ever played this game ...are you serious? Luckily I am able to convince Denise that it makes way more sense to give me the other half of the idol. I mean, this is huge for me but the idea of playing this game with Ben makes me a little nervous! Note* Adam says that Ben makes him nervous and Rob notes that he can't trust Ben later* Happy upbeat music plays as we go to Dakal! The Happy Chappy tribe! Makes me think the winner may be over here, fyi! 5. Yul: I’ve been trying to get some bread fruit the last few days but unfortunately it’s not been going to well, but I am determined to not give up despite that I am probably using up a lot more calories than I will gain from this. I got this big bamboo stick and I tied a rope around it, so hopefully it will work like a wire coat hanger and I can loop it around and pull it down. 6. Kim: So far this season has not been a good experience for me I am not used to playing on the bottom. It’s a weird feeling but I also know this is not the end of the game and it’s an upward trajectory for me if I can find where to get my footing. I’m just treading carefully I don’t want to put the target on my back, but I feel like the idol would be a really important thing for me to have. It’s funny, the more you are on the bottom the more you have to claw your way to the top and the more you do that the ore you put a target on your back therefore the more you are on the bottom. So I am careful and wait for this moment of peace and listen to the voice that tells you when to go right when to go left, that’s what I do when I’m idol hunting and I just try to get a vibe for which tree to go to. It’s just how I found mine the first season. It’s a prayer of sorts, you know, if this is meant to be then send me an idol. When I found it it was like a surreal moment but I don’t want to be caught with it, two people walked up, 2 people that I don’t trust, Tony and Nick. I think they thought I was looking for an idol. I don’t think that they thought I had found it. It’s not your typical ii, i have to give part of it to someone else. I’ve always thought that Sophie and I would work well together. Go with the people that I have good feelings about, and I think that Sophie is in a really good spot in the tribe right now... 7. Sophie: I was in shock! Kim should be telling Tyson about the idol, that’s who Kim should be telling about her idol. I see Kim as somebody who is super aware, she’s the most socially adept person out here. The problem for Kim is that everybody knows that is why she won her last season. So, I think even if she is like the nicest Texan in the world, everyone is just going to see that as a threat. So, she shouldn’t be telling the devil who has never worked with her in this game about the idol. If I were Kim I would be worried about telling me about the idol cause she could be next on the chopping block. Cut to EoE and the girls looking for advantage Natalie has conf, Amber has conf. then Natalie with confessional 8.Jeremy: This has to be from Nat, this is HUGE! Last tribal I was left out of the vote, so now I feel like I am on the bottom....I mean that’s a no brainer, right there. I’m buying this thing, fire tokens are really important. These fire tokens, that are really more valuable than people think, they think oh, you get 4 tokens and you buy a tarp....No, you can have one token and buy immunity. They don’t even know it, they don’t even get it. This is the biggest season ever, it’s a war, and I lost the first battle. But this fire token economy has changed every thing. *Winner quote* 9. Tony: Taking on projects things is fun, it occupies my mind and if I don’t occupy my mind I’m going to start doing crazy things like searching for idols in front of everybody and getting my self into trouble. So I say to myself, let me just build a ladder, we’ll climb up and simply pick the papayas off the tree, simply walk down the ladder, simply go to camp, chop it up, and simply eat it. Simple as that. 10. Wendell: this ladder, it’s got to be 20 feet tall and 150 lbs 11. Sophie: I don’t even want to call it a ladder, it’s 2 pieces of bamboo with other pieces of bamboo tied with flimsy twine... 12. Tyson: You are surely joking. I know we signed waivers before coming out here but I don’t know if there was a ladder clause in the contract. 13. Sophie: At some point you expect him to laugh and walk away. Tony never laughed and he never walked away. Kind of like playing a game with a kid where you just imagine it’s all make believe and you realize at some point for them it’s not make believe. 14. Tyson: How is this guy still alive? He does not give 2 cares. That’s the guy that’s enforcing the law back home. Now I am questioning my read on him, maybe he’s not joking ....maybe he really believes he’s a structural engineer. 15. Sarah: I’ve known Tony for 6 years and I love the guy. And, I knew other people would too if they just got to know him. But, we don’t want to seem like we are too much of a pair so we are trying to keep our distance from each other 16. Tony: the first time in Cagayan it didn’t work out too well for Sarah, it worked out well for me, the cops r us alliance included me cause Sarah was voted off but this time around I am going to make it up to her if she gives me that trust 17. Sarah: The other time cops r us happened, one half of Cops R Us voted this half out of the game. I didn’t know how Tony operates, it was like we were brand new partners in the street, now I know my partner. And, as long as nobody knows about Cops R Us Challenge.... 18. Parvati: If you break it down to old vs new, we’re outnumbered by newer players here. So, I want to make sure there is no strong new school faction that is growing that I am on the outside of, so one of thems gots to go. 19. Rob: Today was not my best day. First I find out that they sent my wife to extinction island and then in the challenge, I blew it. I take full responsibility for it but for whatever reason I am not too worried about it. I feel secure in the relationships that I am building out here so for me, the question is, which of these new school guys is going home. (Not a good sign when Rob is sounding a bit arrogant....fwiw.) It couold be Jeremy. At this point, he’s on the bottom. On the other hand Ben is a little bit of a wild card...He wants to seem harmless, but Ben is dangerous. And, I don’t trust him, so he might have to go! (See Rob talking about either Jeremy or Ben) to Parv and Ethan 20. Danni: It’s been 14 years since I played and the game has changed alot, and I’m trying to adapt to that. I feel like i’ve been left out and now I am not even sure about my old school alliance, I feel like its me going home tonight. It’s not hard to get to that when people are walking off and talking and not including you ...even Parvati who I thought I was very close to 21. Ethan: God! We had a plan at the very beginning it was kind of an old school thing and obviously we need to keep it on the DL and Danni, right in front of Ben comes out with it. You know, I don’t know what’s going on with Danni. She feels like she is on the outside and now she is telling Ben all of our secrets 22. Ben: I knew it! There is an old school new school thing right now. That’s ????, I am totally certain right now. Old schoolers are going to cling on to each other and I don’t want to be bamboozled by these guys. So, being able to get them out now is my main objective. See Ben pitching to Ethan, Adam and Jeremy...we need Rob, Parvati, let’s get rid of Danni, easy vote across the board 23. Rob: In the beginning of this game, even though she threw my name out there, I was completely willing to forgive that, but then, Danni came up with a plan to vote out Parvati. I mean, Danni! Parvati is my number one! 24. Adam: This is incredible news for me! The old schoolers are turning on each other. And, it started with Danni throwing Parv under the bus. Honestly, If I had my way, it would be Parv. Parvati is a massive threat in this game! But, she is super tight with Boston Rob, and Boston Rob is the Godfather. Going against the Godfather is really dangerous! 25. Parvati: Danni and I the first day we hit the beach, we were talking, we were connecting, but now she is coming after me. So... 26. Jeremy: This is a miracle. The biggest name out there right now is Danni. And, as long as it’s not me, I’m good with that. Rob’s controlling the tribe. Him and Parv. I don’t like to watch other people control the game. I like to be the one to pull the trigger on these blindsides. 27. Adam: We can pull this off. I know where the other idol is so I know that Parvati doesn’t have it. And, so we can just vote her out of the game. But, it’s all about choosing when to take these risks. But, it could back fire. We will start at Sele. They have lost more challenges and gone to TC 3 times. First was Natalie, because Adam called them out as a much tighter pair than he and Denise. So Adam came into the cross hairs and weaseled out of it. The old schoolers were surprised that they didn't feel threatened, in the first go at Tribal. Then, it was the "unanimous vote" with Danni. Now it's a blindside with Ethan. Ben noted in episode one that he was star struck playing with all the greats and we saw him just spew to Boston Rob. Ben is disarming because he seems like a bumbling bafoon. But, Adam has noted that he doesn't trust him, and so has Rob. But, in episode 2, he noted that he won the game by going after challenge wins and idols, but this time he wants to work on and get a social game....then we see him helping Denise find an idol. That is definitely a way to endear yourself to another. Denise, imo, won't turn on him now. Then, we see Ben act like a good little beta soldier and do as he's told. Although he told us in episode 3 that he hates playing with BR, we here him most likely echoing someelses thoughts on Parvati. He's earning a lot of points with me in this season. Ben is on point....so far. He's doing well in challenges and he's willing to let others drive the bus on a alpha tribe. A good spot to be in. Adam, who had alliances with Denise, the new schoolers and Boston Rob and Ethan has gone from evading trouble, to being perhaps targeted in the next episode, when we hear Jeremy note, Adam's got to go. I think Adam's stock is in trouble. Even his number one, Denise, didn't vote with him....trouble. This ep, he blabbed the Parvati plan to everyone so he's persona non grata. But, if Boston Rob doesn't play well, he could be the next to go. Adam is playing the game like an alpha on a tribe of alphas. Not good for his longevity, imo. Denise: Another beta in the alpha tribe which bodes well for her short term game. Has Adam, and has Ben, and with the majority on this vote. Denise is in good stead. Could be and most likely will be there to the end, she's under the radar for the most part. End game bet. Jeremy: He is also a strong contender at this point. He's got his BFF on EoE feeding him tokens and advantages. He usurped Boston Rob as leader of the blindsides this week. But, will that put new cross hairs on him as the new alpha in charge? He's tight with Michelle, and Denise and Ben seem to be with him too. He's in the drivers seat, but for how long. If he stays with this alpha attitude he will be targeted before end game, imo. Michelle: She was left out of the vote loop in the first episode. Played along in the second episode, and now is really in a good spot. She performed well in the challenge. She's going further, and if she has Jeremy as her partner in this game, he's far more of a shield for her than she is for him. Could be a contender and more likely to outlast her alpha counterpart. Rob: He's just such a big target, and has wanted to "drive the bus". I cannot believe that CBS left their giant heads out there for all to see. Talk about throwing he and Sandra under the bus! Rob might make a swap, but at this point in time, he's in serious trouble. He will be pissed that Ethan is gone. Can he play the beta? I don't think so. Even if he makes merge, he'll still be the biggest target out there. Don't see him at end game. Sniff. Even people associated with him are targets because of him. Wow. Parvati: In an old school alliance with Rob now, and we know that Adam wants her out. But, Rob has got to be far more threatening? Maybe not. Don't see Parv at end game. But, I suppose there is hope since we are not seeing much from her at this point, which I might add, is a good sign. She's not at the other alpha levels so I think she can make mid game? Tyson is surely in the worst position on the Dakal tribe. Lucky for him they are winning. But, in the NTOS promo, we saw Tyson, who's been throwing Sandra's name out there, that he's now trying to recruit Sandra and Tony. Could mean that the Dakal tribe LOSES? If they do, we know that Kim has a connection via the idol with Sophie. So, numero uno on the chopping block is indeed Tyson, our boy. I pray he can make it, but as a member of the "poker" alliance, I am severely worried about Tyson. Kim is the other member non grata. But, we saw her give half of her idol to Sophie. I hope and pray that she can pull herself up by her bootstraps. I'm worried. Need another episode to weigh in.She's under the radar this episode, while Tyson is throwing out Sandra's name, when we see Sandra providing food for the tribe. Tyson is the bigger target here. Sandra: Do not see how Sandra, as the Queen, can make end game. But, I hope to God, that she can go deeper. She's so great to watch. I love how she gets others around her going. She's really a super star considering how she sucks at challenges. If I had to bet, I think she could maybe make mid game. Yul wants her around, Tony and Sarah want her around. She's a big shield. She's in a good spot, but will most likely not make end game. Tony: Tony is another TIGER in this game and it has me very worried. BUT, there is a ray of hope for Tony as he had the FIRST confessional of the show, and we saw him have confessionals about how he learned from his last loss, NOT to go crazy and look for idols. So far, he's done it, AND, he's providing serious comic relief to the game. He reminds me of a YOUNG Boston Rob on the "Happy Chappy" tribe. It's Tony that is the fun one and has the fun tribe. If people enjoy you and want to be around you, that's GREAT! But, he's Tony? The Yul-Wendell-Nick-Sophie group tagged Sandra and Sarah, which leaves Tony as the odd one out. I hope and pray that there is hope for Tony because he's a riot. We were shown that CopRUs is back up and running. Sarah has loved Tony for years and she hopes that others will see what she loves about him too. I think they already are. I love these two. I hope and pray that this alliance is gold. Tony is a wonderful shield for Sarah if it holds. Sarah: She's in great standing, imo. Good with Sandra, Tony, and plays well with others. On the perimeter of Yul and company. Has a steal a vote. Love it, gooo Sarah. I see her THERE at end game. Hopefully. Yul: He's being edited as the founder of the "unconnected" alliance of 4: He, Nick, Wendell, and Sophie. Seems that Sophie is his numero uno, and then Wendell and Nick. He's worked a side deal with Sandra and Sarah. He told us with this, "He'll control the game". We were shown step by step how Yul organized this group. I do think this group has a great chance to make it to end game. Yul is methodical this episode when considering who to direct the vote to....we see him consider Sandra, then Tyson. He will most likely dictate or steer the vote. However, despite his position for now, I don't think that Yul can win as the "leader" of the group. Sophie: She's Yul's number two. We've seen her do amazingly at challenges (which will put a target on her sooner rather than later with this group), she's in a core four "unconnected" alliance. She's got half of an idol. She's in a good place to go deep. However, with her comments about cool kids and putting people in categories, and with her comments about the beloved winner, Kim, she is coming across villainous to me, and I think michel has noted it as well. So, can a villain win? Wendell: He's so chill, I love him. He didn't want to come in and build the shelter, but that is exactly what he did. He's in a fun tribe and he's seemingly having fun laughing at Tony and his antics. He's in a core "unconnected" alliance, he's great in challenges. He could be end game! Nick: Ditto Wendell. He's chill, he's in the mix! But 2 episodes with no confessionals? then this week he had one confessional and it was: ARRRRRR! This is an all winner season so I guess editing can do anything they want. He got the positive money quote about the fire tokens and the winner in the first episode. Nick could go deep, but I think if he were the winner, we'd be hearing more from him. We do see him, however. Thoughts for now. At high risk: Tyson, Boston Rob, Adam At risk: Sandra, Parv Confessionals Episode 3 1. Adam: At TC it was a unanimous decision, Danni went home, because BR, Parvati, and Ethan decided to betray her. To me the 3 old schoolers have been running the show here. BR feels like he needs to be in control at all times, he won his game because he was in control the whole time, from start to finish. But, this is not S: Redemption Island, this is S: WaW, he needs to adapt, and maybe play a little bit more like I am. This is the time to draw a line in the sand and target some of the big dogs in this game. 2. Denise: Right now I feel like I am in a really good spot. Last night Danni was voted out of the game and she bequeathed her fire token to me. I found the HII, I gave half of it away, but before we went to TC, Adam had luckily given me back half of the idol. So, now it is my idol, and it is whole and it has power. And, I feel secure that Adam and I are good, but Ethan Rob and Parvati appear to be very tight, so we need to take some control so that we are driving the boat, maybe from the 3 of them ****Tribe full of alphas. Why does EVERY ONE want to be driving the boat? Rob, Jeremy, Adam, Denise?***** 3. Ben: I can’t stand Rob because he’s an alpha male and he’s gonna take charge, but as long as I keep my temper down, I’m okay, becaUse we can put a vote where we want it (See Michelle, Adam with Ben), whether it’s BR or Parvati. But, I wish BR would get off this island. 4. Adam: (After he tells Ethan he wants to vote Parv) Everyone from home will be shouting, “Why, why, why would you ever tell Ethan that we are going to vote out Parvati?” Cause if Parvati is going to go home I need Ethan in my corner. JI need him to be okay and still trust me. 5. Ethan: I’m close to Adam, but you can’t come to me and tell me that you are going to vote out Parvati, he knows I’m close to Parv, it’s a silly mistake on his part. Parati is my number one, I turst her with my life and to have one person in the game that you can trust is HUGE! It’s more huge than havinga decent relationshiip with Adam. Dakal.... 6. Sandra: Here i am for the fifth time in the game so once this is over I am retiring from the game. I’m going to switch gears, I want to prove my worth to this tribe and catch some fish. 7. Tyson: So right now I’m in a new position in the game that I’ve never experienced before being everyone’s target and it’s been kind of a tricky 7 days for me. A bit of a roller coaster. So, I need to point the target anywhere else. I’m thinking throwing Sandra’s name out, she’s the weakest one in the tribe, and, on top of that she’s got 2 million in the bank from Survivor, so toppling the q2ueen could please everyone here. (I feel like this will not work because while Tyson is suggesting her name we see her working to set up the fishing net to catch some fish for her tribe....which we know later will be successful. So, I feel like this is foreshadowing that Tyson will be unsuccessful). See Tyson suggest Sandra to Yul and Sophie. 8. Yul: Sandra has a reputation of using misinformation and stirring things up and for me I want to keep people that are just playing a rational game and who are not making unpredictable moves and who will back stab me as I am getting toward the end. I don’t trust Tyson right now but his proposal to vote out Sandra is an option right now. 9.Sandra: I got us a shark! Us waking up to a shark steak breakfast? It’s ...no one is at my level just yet. 10. Tony: Alright, so I said let me jump in, let me be the hero, let me grab the shark, so I reach in to pick it up as soon as I picked it up it went ARRRRRRRRR 11. Nick: ARRRRRRR 12. Yul: ARRRRRRR....Tony is scared of sharks, so the idea that the shark was going to bite him was freaking him out! 13. Tony: So many thoughts went through my mind, in like a milisecond. My first reaction was to just let it go, but then it would have fell back in the water and escape, I would have said guys, just let me swim to the edge because they would vote me off tonight, I know who’s going. Oh man, what a cluster that was! 14. Yul: We want to keep the momentum going and I think one of the components to keep momentum going is to keep morale high and being well fed. And, Sandra is a big part of that.....(Sandra is keeping them well fed, AND I say that Tony is keeping the morale high!!!) So, I know that Tyson is targeting Sandra but I don’t want to lose Sandra. ***In other words, if Dakal goes to TC next, Tyson is doomed. Yul, Sophie, Wendell, Nick, Sandra, Sarah, Tony all likely to band together and vote out Tyson? We see Yul pull a Sandra, and tell her that Tyson is coming for her. 15. Sandra: There is no way that Tyson is going to come after me and he’s not going to pay the price for it. Don’t come after me. If you are going to &*%^$#* come after me, I better not find out about it. EoE: Danni gets a confessional about the first time she speer fished. Amber Natalie Amber Natalie gets the steal a vote. 16. Sarah: I’m going through my bag and I see something that I didn’t put in there. So, I get a free second and I get free from camp and find a good spot to hide and I pull out a note. “There is a steal a vote hidden at the other tribes camp inside one of the players torches. This advantage allows you to sneak into their camp at night in order to find it and it will cost you one fire token.” OH man! This is a huge decision cause I have successfully played the steal a vote in game changers, I know how it’s played and I know how powerful it can be, so this is definitely something that I would like to have in my back pocket. There’s a lot at stake. First of all it’s going to cost me my fire token, the one token that I have. Then, I gotta sneak outta my camp without getting caught and I also have to infiltrate a camp that I know nothing about. I gotta do recon on that camp...If it was any other season I would probably turn it down. But, it’s winners at war and I am ready to go to battle. I’m going for it! As a cop, this feels like I am suiting up to go do a search warrant right now, but nobody enters a building alone, you wait for your back up to get there so I might have to tap in one of my other police officers to help me wjith this mission. At night. 17. Tony: Officer Sarah comes up to me and says, Tony, I need you to be a good partner today cause I need back up. We went into stealth mode at that point. I told her I was going to get a coconut and fill it up with ashes and before she goes on her mission, I’m going to cover her face with ashes so she can be camoflaged. So, I am putting this chalk on her forehead, it’s disgusting, it’s not really sticking, so she told me to spit on it! So I am putting in the charcoal and making it nice and wet, and she had to spit in it too, because it wasn’t wet enough....so, at the end of the day we did it! They do a secret handshake! Sele camp: See BR and Parvati asleep next to each other, and Ethan is on the other side of Parv....(watch who is sleeping next to each other. 18. Sarah: I get to the shore and I make my way to the edge of camp and it is pitch black, I can’t see anything and it is foreign territory, I have no idea what is going on. I start crawling around looking for these torches. I get just past the fire and to my right, I see all the torches. I’m like, bingo! Here’s the problem, I have to get to the top of these things and they are taller than me. I’m going to have to stand up and be completely exposed. JI’m looking at the top of the torches, I’m putting my hand in and I don’t feel anything in any of them. There is a guy sleeping literally 10 ft from where I am doing this and (see Ben wake up) I’m clanging torches, I am snapping twigs, I step, it’s a complete disaster. This is not how I envisioned this going. Finally I feel it, this is it! Pull it out, stick it in my pants, without them waking up, see Rob, Mission Accomplished! Challenge! Yul, Ethan, Adam, Michelle, Nick all fell off the first part of the challenge, Michelle really held them up! Wendell did well at throwing, Rob did not. Ben did well. Dakal had only 2 pieces ahead of Sele....Rob got them up 4-3, then 4-4. Sele lost by one piece. 19. Denise: We lost, again. But the game plan is to vote out Parvati. But we know this is a critical vote, this vote could blow up a lot of peoples games. 20. Rob: Losing todays challenge was tough, and when we get back to the camp, it was almost like it was a stand off. Season 40 is a different kind of season. These players know what they are doing. Everybody is kind of going over their own game plans in their own heads waiting to see who is gonna move first. 21. Michelle: Nobody wanted to walk off. We all know this game inside and out and we all know what happens when you are the first one to walk off, the strategizing. 22. Jeremy: Everyone is just sitting around real quiet and you could just tell that this is the calm before the storm. But, I knew as soon as I walked away that Ben was going to come with me, and stuff was going to start rolling and bullets were going to start flying and knives are going to start stabbing. ***Tells me that Ben and Jeremy are TIGHT See Jeremy, Ben, and Denise. 23. Ben: Tonight we want to break up the group of Parvati, Ethan and Rob. At this point the most dangerous person out of the those three is Parvati, she knows how to bat her eyes, show her pretty teeth and manipulate people to work with her. And, that’s why it’s scary to have her in the game rather than Rob and Ethan. (I feel like Ben is repeating what someone else has told him, he already has told us he “hates” Rob in the game....) See Adam say the five of us are solid....Ben, Michelle, Denise, Jeremy, Adam. 24. Adam: I have an incredibly tall task. It is impossible to vote somebody out of the group and not ##### off somebody else. ....or is it? See Adam suggest Parv to Rob..... Adam continues: As far as I’m concerned Parvati is going home tonight....But, you do not go against the godfather! Boston Rob is somebody that I would like to work with long term. Strategically telling people truths at important times can be very helpful. I did it in Milennials vs Gen X. It has back fired on a lot of people who have played this game. I think it will work. SEe a WAVE CRASH ON SHORE> 25. Rob: Adam is going to blindside Parvati and I’m supposed to be okay with that. Im thinking, is this kid crazy? I know he’s seen me play on tv, he’s seen every episode, he knows everything? I don’t play like that! Rob walks up to Michelle and Jeremy. Rob tells them that he knows the plan to blindside Parv, Jeremy shakes his head, that’s not happening. Rob continues...Adam’s forcing my hand, if someone is coming after one of my alliance members, I’m coming after them. 26. Parvati: Because Adam broke the cardinal rule of S and he told Rob who’s aligned with the person he’s planning to blindside, me, I now know Adam’s plan. Because Adam is trying to blindside me, it’s got to be Adam. I’m ready to pounce on Adam, devour that guy (see Michelle agree with Parv, Jeremy, ), spit out his bones on EoE. 27. Michelle: Right now it seems absolutely essential to break up the trio of Rob, Parvati and Ethan cause they are running the show. So three factions and they ALL want to run the show.....Rob Parv Ethan, Adam Ben Denise Jeremy Michelle et al. Michelle continues: But, it pisses me off that Adam would go scurry over to Rob and tell him the whole plan to vote out Parvati and throw me and Jeremy under the bus. So, I could absolutely see Adam going out tonight . Now I have to get the wheels turning and going to people and figuring out what the plan is. See Michelle tell Denise that Adam went to Rob and told him everything, used our 5 names going for Parv. See Michelle tell Ben: Adam told Boston Rob our whole Parvati plan....Adam’s playing every angle. Michelle continues: Me and Jeremy are holding alot of power tonight because we are deciding the future of this tribe. We can either take out one of the power trio or take out the person that is playing both sides, see adam. I do feel pressure coming into this season, people didn’t think I deserved my win. He got some comeuppance. He choked by playing all sides yet firmly states that it was Boston Rob that betrayed him. Being at the top of the confessional chart is not a good thing when you consider winners, unless you are Tony or Rob, who were indeed at the top of their confessional charts their entire season. I've said it before, it seems like everyone in this game has the strategy to get Boston Rob out and then other legends of the show. Anyone that has any connection to Boston Rob has a target. Adam has 2 confessionals about how he was playing both sides, thought he could get a way with it and now has to do an apology tour. Then, notes that Rob and Parv are trying to get him to talk and to mess up, then with the confessional after the challenge win, he gets the confessional that his mom told his teacher that when he puts his mind to it, he will accomplish anything and she was right. I have to think this COULD be a winner quote. At any rate, it's foreshadowing that Adam will survive this episode and live to see another day and perhaps be salvaged by a swap. Rob and Parv, are wayyyy down on their numbers but they are not out and never give up. Rob will resort to lying and throw a wrench into the mix which moves the target back to Adam. It was through Rob and Michelle's efforts that the tribe was spared TC. Rob always understood that this is a GAME. But, as two of the biggest targets in the game, I think Rob and Parv are clearly at RISK!!! We have seen the other tribe get rid of two people that had a connection to Rob, and we know that Ben at least wants to keep Rob around to be a shield. His days are numbered, and most likely he will go the first time he goes to TC with a new tribe. Ben is down one confessional and it was a great one....Dag Gummit, Adam! Reactionary to Adam. I love Ben and I think he's safe for a while. Tony is down 3 to 1 confessional. He saw the merit to Tyson's plan, and Sarah confirmed his thoughts. Tony and Sarah are working great as a pair and I have to say are quickly becoming my favorites of the season. Kim is loosely with them. Sandra was not with them, and therefore they could not pull it off. Tony did NOT want to lose Tyson, but in the end he goes along with the majority. I love that we are privy to Tony's thoughts through this season, unlike many others who are not giving us their thoughts and plans through out. At this point, I think Tony AND Sarah are in a very good spot. In addition to hearing all of their thoughts and plans, we see them being very social and fun loving. This episode we saw Sarah having fun with Tyson. Tony has entertained the tribe from day one, he pulled a "Tyson". Even Yul told us he's not an A$$hole. Good things for these two. Sandra: Hmmmmm? The last thing she said as they went to TC was that she has never played emotionally in this game, and I recall a little payback with emptying out fish in Cook Islands. I think she is reactionary and if there is one button that cannot be reset for her, it would be if she finds out that some one is coming for her. She even told us this in a confessional last week. She's stubborn and revengeful, and she got her way. This is a pivotal decision and I think we will see her crash and burn, or perhaps she will prove to have been right? At this point, I think she made a fatal error not seeing the four that Yul speaks so highly of. Yul is next. His confessional: In S, These happy times are just as important as the war times, we’re getting food, we are bonding with each other, we are winning challenges. All of that just builds on each other and the cummulative effect is that we are just on a roll. Right now we all like each other and can continue with the illusion that we are all in sync with one another but in reality, me and Nick, Wendell, and Sophie are the strongest alliance within this tribe, and I don’t think that any one is suspecting that that’s the case. I feel good, like I have maximum range of options in front of me. Cut to EoE This confessional served to set the stage that Unconnected alliance was poised to win this test in this episode, and they did. But, I didn't like it for Yul. Yul has been seen as the "leader", the driver of the unconnected alliance. We saw him bond with Sophie, Nick, and Wendell. We've heard his thoughts as we have heard Tony's and Sarah's. But, we see that his alliance is indeed in a good spot. BUT, the fact that Yul is sounding so confident here makes me believe that he's going to fail sooner rather than later. I don't know if he will go down, or his alliance will. I also didn't like how he just states, "I feel good, like I have maximum range of options in front of me", and then it immediately cuts to EoE shots. NOT GOOD, foreshadowing. I think Yul will soon be in trouble, and we know there is a swap looming. Uh Oh. Sophie had one confessional about going to see Prisoners, and she didn't like it and she believes that they are miserable on EoE. Sophie has never been one of my favs. And, she still isn't. Perhaps having a confessional about EoE, could mean that she ends up there? Jeremy goes from 1 to 2 confessionals. Talking about Adam, and saying as long as he's a good boy, he can stay, but then after Rob lies to him, he notes that Adam's got to go. Jeremy can be manipulated. Hmmmm? That's not too good for him....So, who could benefit from this the most? Michelle. Jeremy is safe for now. Michelle had one confessional that noted the little rat, Adam, and she's sick of it. She's manipulated too. But, she has a shield, Jeremy. And, she's about to get back with her old boyfriend, Wendell. She's safe. Denise flies under the radar, a good sign for her now. Kim flies under the radar too, and dodges a boot, a swap will indeed help her. Wendell and Nick have 1 confessional each. Nick as he was the target, and Wendell tells us about Tyson is a threat because he could get linked up with Rob and Parv at a swap. He's drinking the collective koolaid. I do think that Sophie, NIck, and Wendell are in a better spot than Yul, as he is the leader and founder of the group. With all of the commentary about getting "the threats" out, to me the ones at the greatest risk are indeed the bigger threats: Numero Uno: Rob, then Parvati, Sandra I would say that Yul is at slight risk, along with Tony. Confessionals episode 4: 1. Adam: Oh man, this TC was tough. I thought Parvati was going home, but I revealed my alliances plan to Boston Rob. He betrayed me. I got left out of the vote by the people I was supposed to be aligned with. I just did everything that you are not supposed to do in S and I had the hubris to think I could get away with it. I was playing all sides and unfortunately everybody knows it. I’m lucky to be here, Now, I feel like everything has completely changed and I need to do an apology tour... 2. Ben: Adam is that little weasel that is sneaking through the bushes and is whispering in everybodies ear. And, that’s not good for my game. However he’s very lucky that the biggest risks in the tribe are Boston Rob and Parvati. They are very good at what they do and if you give them too much rope they are going to grab a loop and put it around your neck and hang you. 3. Yul: In S, These happy times are just as important as the war times, we’re getting food, we are bonding with each other, we are winning challenges. Sophie: I remember in HS, they thought it would be a good idea to take our class on a trip to the prison, to see what it looks like when you are a prisoner. It scared the crap out of us. And, I think being at EoE, it really scares me cause I imagine that people are miserable. It’s kind of like a daily reminder that the good times here are a facade. Cut to EoE and total confessionals on EoE: Ethan: 4 Danni: 3 Natalie: 3 Amber: 5 5. Jeremy: All of a sudden Adam is the hardest working person on this island. Adam is acting like one of my children, when they get in trouble they know that you are disappointed in them. So, they try to soften things up. Obviously Adam is trying to save his own hide. And, as long as Adam does not go back to his old ways, being sneaky and and playing both sides, we will keep him around. 6. Parvati: So now that Rob and I are on the bottom, it doesn’t mean that we are going to lay down and die. You know, Ethan sent me his fire token and with this comes a bit of a responsibility to avenge his blindside. 7. Adam: Rob and Parvati are trying to get me to make a mistake, to say something that I shouldn’t but I am not going to give them the satisfaction or the ammunition 8. Rob: Adam is not saying anything, that’s fine. Adam, I’m sorry, but at the end of the day, this is S. I gotta lie, buddy. 9. Michelle: Wow, Adam went and opened his big mouth again. He’s playing both sides. over and over and over again, I’m so sick of it. 10.Jeremy: Adam is definitely a liability, he can’t switch it off, he’s gotta go! I can’t keep baby sitting him and keeping him around and it’s driving me crazy. I’m done with it! 11. Sarah: I think with everybody being a veteran player, we’ve come back and are enjoying our playground. I’m having the most fun I’ve ever had out here. At this point I know people don’t trust Tyson, but at this point, surprisingly, Tyson and I have this bond and it’s great. We mesh so well together and those are the types of people that you rely on. 12. Tyson: The game is getting tricky and it’s eirrily (sp?) calm, but I know that gaming is going on non stop. If I stop and think about the tribe, the bigger threats are going after each other. And, the people that are less connected and have only played the game one time, they are not even on anybody’s radar. People like Wendell, Nick, Yul, I don’t even know who the last one is....Sophie, so under the radar that I did not even know her name. 13. Sandra: I’m pretty much just listening, dang, oh....for real? But, it’s shady and it’s a lie. What he’s trying to do is to save himself anyway that he can. You know what Tyson, you threw the first stone because you came after me days ago, so I need Tyson to go. So, you better hope that we win this challenge cause you are in deep do do. Challenge 14.Adam: My mom told my teachers when I was in the eighth grade that when Adam decides that he is going to do something, to accomplish something there is absolutely no stopping him. And, she was right! 15. Tyson: We got back from the challenge and it was like pretty standard fare, everybody pats the puzzle makers on the back and says it’s ok, it’s not your fault....it is...and it was their fault but that’s great for me because I need Nick out of the picture. Nick doesn’t do much, he’s lazy at camp, he blew the puzzle and he’s one of these unconnected players that I want out of the game. Nobody wants to make the first move. And, I need to start dictating the direction of my game. It’s an easy vote, the whole tribes on board... 16. Wendell: Tyson is one of the greats, but he doesn’t know what’s going on, all of our eyes are on Tyson, he’s kind of a dead man walking. Tyson is one of the biggest threats on this beach because he’s well connected on the other side. If we were to merge or swap at any time he could get linkied up with Rob or maybe Parv, they could do a lot of damage together. 17. Nick: Tyson ‘s a trouble maker, he’s got it out for me. You know it kind of sucks because Tyson’s like one of my favorite players. Now it’s like a war, he’s coming after me, I’m coming after him. I feel like I am in with everybody but I am definitely nervous. Everybody here has won the game, so everybody knows how to lie good. People can say whatever they want but until they actually prove it with the vote, you don’t know where people stand. 18. Tony: So far it’s been real smooth for me, and that’s why now I’m in a little bit of a sticky situation. If it were up to me I would rather get rid of Nick. Because Nick is really not a threat, he’s a number but he’s not a shield. Tyson is a shield AND he can be a number. Tyson is more of a target than I am, I’m just hiding behind him. And, I don’t want to lose him, I don’t want to lose him. 19. Sarah: Tony’s right, the big threats, we need to band together because we are being bamboozled. Kim and I are 100% on board, the problem is it all hinges on Sandra. If Sandra is not on board the plan doesn’t work. 20. Sandra: Tony is right, we’d be stupid to let Tyson go because he’s a bigger target than we are, but, I don’t trust Tyson. I’ve had issues with Tyson since he threw my name out there but I have never allowed emotion to control my game. (famous last words). Nick: I was so relieved to get tyson out of here. Tyson was the only one that was rocking the boat and we are a solid unit now. And on top of that I was looking in my bag this morning and I found this parchment paper. This definitely changes my pinion of Tyson a little bit. I think in another situation I would love to work with Tyson and maybe that situation will come up and this token will be little bit of his appreciation and hey, I don’t take this lightly. 2. Yul: Soft music playing. I know Jonathan Penner because he is someone I pleayed with on Cook Islands. We’ve become very close friends and II have become close withhis family. And, over the past year his wife, Stacy Title who is an amazing woman was diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrigs disease. And, it’s been an absolutely devastating knock out punch. And, Stacy has lost control over most of her body except for her eyes, and I mean, there is no cure right now. They’re under a tremendous amount of strain both emotionally and financially and it just broke my heart. Obviously I have very strong feelings for Jonathan, his wife, his family. Like, no one deserves this like if there is something that I or others can do to help them, their kids, and everyone else in that situation, I just feel like that is the least we can do. I just feel like in this game of S I am not just playing for myself and my own family but I am playing for something bigger than myself. I would just love to use this opportunity to raise a little bit of awareness for anyone that is suffering from ALS and their families who are much more in need than anyone of us are. Go to the mat on an atol. Swap 3. Rob: This is the part of the game that I really don’t like too much. The first time I played the game was back on Marquesas and when I had complete control of the tribe and they did a tribe swap. Next thing you know, I’m on the bottom and that was the end. But, hopefully this time the cards fall in my favor. 4. Michelle: OMG, how the heck did I get stranded on an island with my ex-boyfriend? Wendell and I dated briefly which is a saga within itself. Even though our relationship didn’t work out I am hoping that this can work a little better 5. Adam: I should be ecstatic by this swap, but I am not. Because, this is a really fractured trio. And Rob and Myself we burned a lot of bridges with each other and that could be catastrophic for my game. 6. Jeremy: the dakal camp, first of all the shelter is unbelievable. First of all I’m George and denise is Weezie, cause we are moving on up. But, coming in down 3 original dakals to 2 Sele’s, I need to find out who is on the outs in that group. So, I would really like to get a big glass, a nice tall beer of information so it could quench my thirst for knowledge. Kim seems like she is on the outs, and that’s a good thing for me because that is the weak link that I am looking for. 7. Denise: I am starting to feel like either Kim is not as tight with Tony or Sandra, or maybe she would be willing to pull me in or that maybe she is willing to step out? And, maybe join either Jeremy and I? I have a little bit of security because I have an idol, but there is a little more because maybe their are some options here in terms of we may be down numbers but I don’t think that we are out. 8. Tony: The biggest fear of a swap is exactly what happened to Denise and Jeremy. They are on the bottom of the numbers. But, we have to be very careful because there are going to be hyenas in the game and there are going to be lions in this game. If the lions are going to go against one another the hyenas are going to come in and just clean up shop. I don’t want to get eaten by a hyena. When there are 5 people together there is always one in the middle, and right now I believe it’s Kim in the middle. I’m going to try my best to try and convince her to get my game to move forward and stick together. 9. Kim: I was agreeable to Tony in the moment to agreeing to stay Dakal strong, but I’m not sure that that’s the best option for me. Tony and Sandra, they are probably the people that I had the least trust with. I do feel like I am making a connection with Jeremy and Denise. And, in this tribe at the moment I am smack in the middle, and that could be a really good spot for me. 10. Nick: I think if I was able to pick my tribe I couldn’t have done a better job because I was super tight with Yul and Wendell, they were my best two allies on Dakal, and on top of that we have a numbers advantage, so...I won the lottery. 11. Parvati: Sele is outgunned by the Dakal and I am desperate to find an opportunnity for Michelle and I to work our way in. So, I played with Yul on Cook Islands but Yul and I were never on the same side, but he told me that his wife loves me and that I am her favorite player. And, I think that is a little bit of an in with Yul. And, Nick told me that he had a crush on me when he was in High School, so that was awkward. Speaking of awkward, Michelle used to date Wendell and I don’t think they ended on good terms and they are on the same tribe! It’s like sooooo, I’m like cringing for her. I can’t even imagine! Having dated someone and it ending badly and being on the smallest, tiniest tribe with them ever...no where to hide, no where to go.... 12. Wendell: There are people....there are....this is the season of past relationships, but me and michelle, kicked it, you know? We kicked it before. So, you know, everybody has pre-existing relationships out here. Some of mine will spill over into this game. 13. Michelle: Wendell, when he got here he like kept his distance from Parv and I, and honestly I’m not very surprised by that ....that’s how it was in our relationship in the first place. Wendell right now is sending me the “you up?” text, and I just want to be like “new season, who diss?” It’s really hard to have Wendel here because, You’ve broken my trust in real life and you hurt me because of it. Of course I don’t want to get burned by Wendell in this game, like I got burned by dating him ...this is a game for 2 million dollars and better believe I can seperate my game with WEndell and playing this game and I will take him out if necessary! 14. ben: So, we arrive at Yara and it’s not the prettiest of beaches that we have been to On paper we should be sitting pretty, right? The three of us from Sele and the 2 gals from Dakal, but I’m here with Rob and Adam, the two people that have blown up my game and lied to each other and told everybodies secrets to each other, and it’s like AHHHHHH, I can’t get away. 15. Sara: I definitely did not want to swap, we had a phenomenal group at Dakal. Right now I have the steal a vote advantage, so I can save Sophie and I through one tribalIt’s not something that I want to use because then I’ve got nothing. Sophie and I are asking the boys questions and you can feel the tension! Either they are going to stay blue strong or they are three free agents for Sophie and I to scoop one of them up... 16. Sophie: Immediately our first conversation on the beach got me a little excited because I realized there are cracks up the wazoo. The only thing that scares me is that there are so many cracks they might realize their only option is to stay together. Everybody assumes that there is a HII on this beach and it’s going to be critical as to who finds it. 17. Rob: I mean traditionally there is always a HII hidden at each beach so we decided to go look for idols here. I’m pretty much watching everybody else because I am new to this. I found an idol on Redemption but I had like 4 clues. I have a tough time with the idol, I’m looking, I’m doing ...I’m willing to adapt and do what these new school guys do, but I just have very little experience, I’m not usually in this spot where I have more questions than answers. I usually have the answers but this is a tough season, tough game, tough players, smart, you know, and I underestimated them at first. I won’t make that mistake again. 18. Sophie: I emptied my pockets with the best of them but I am scared because I knew I can’t be seen looking happy because when the whole group was looking for the idol, I found this lovely new bracelet! I was given half of Kin’s Immunity idol and I gave it back to Kim before the swap and now I can see Kim’s dilemma! I’ve never really bee good at reading Sarah, but after I gave her half of the idol I felt that she felt now this is a girl I can work with and being in the minority position on a tribe that is really divided...that’s even more powerful than the hii itself! 19. Rob: Look it’s never good to lose immunity on S, I hate to lose. But, in retrospect it’s not that big of a deal, we’ve got expendable members here. We got people we can get rid of here, preserve our original numbers. All we have to decide is which of ‘em is headed home. 20. Sophie: Leaving that challenge, being part of the puzzle solving duo, I felt my game potentially slipping through my fingers. Adam and Ben have really convinced me that they want to work with us, but I’ve tried to ingratiate myself over the last two daysbut I can’t deny that I am in a two person minority and that makes me an easy person to pull the trigger on. 21. Rob: Even though I don’t have great relationships with Ben and Adam, I have to establish trust with some people in this game. In order for this plan to work, one very srucial step needs to happen...In the past in a situation like this I used something called the buddy system, which means myself, Adam and Ben need to be with each other all the time these girls are around. So, that they can’t try to create any kind of commotion. so far, so good, and I feel Like I am bringing the game back a little bit in my direction. 22. Adam: Ben and I are in the same position, where Rob has made it very clear that he wants to work with us, and our group has determined that we would vote out Sarah if we stick together. But, there is no trust between the three of us, yet here we are saying that we have to maintain trust, and Rob’s way of making sure that we maintain that trust is by having nobody leave camp all day. It’s just boring, nobody can leave, nobody can talk. It won’t really allow us the opportunity to really play and maneuverp. 23. Ben: Rob, this entire game.... I have a decision to make, I can stick with the guys, keep my mouth shut and listen to the godfather or I can go with the dakal women. Either way I have to trust my gut here. 24. Sarah: Rob’s energy around camp is really negative, it would feel so much more comfortable if I could have a legitimate conversation with Ben and Adam but that’s Rob’s style of play. He plays the buddy system but this is the buddy system on steroids, it’s baby sitter Rob, putting all the babies in the play pen, I’m sorry but you ain’t putting me in the play pen. So, I’m hoping that we’ll vote Rob out tonight. Ben and Adam, they are technically the swing vote in all this, however, I have the steal a vote advantage, and if I play it tonight, it takes one of the boys votes away and adds it to mine and Sophie’s vote, we have the majority and we pick who goes home. So, I will have it in the event that I feel uncomfortable but obviously I would like to hang on to it cause this games going to get a heck of a lot messier.... 25. Sophie: I asked Sarah for the other half of the idol back so tonight I would actually have an idol with me. If I get a wiggly feeling I will pull it out, but right now I am dreaming of a glorious blindside tonight, but I know that there is a chance that that won’t happen, and that Adam and Ben could get cold feet. I never thought coming out to Survivor, Season 40, Winners at War, that I would be going into tc relying on two strangers I only met days before, who the most reassurance they have given me that I am not going home tonight is a wink or a thumbs up when somebody is not looking. She's a savvy player always. This season it seems to me that the big names of the early game were targeted by the rest. I feel like even production threw them to the wolves. The statues still in place for all to see, the tribe swap....wow. Wendell, Yul, and Nick all on the same tribe. Just seems so staged this season. Everyone on RHAP is saying best season ever, but so far not impressed. I do believe that it is the best cast ever, but we are just not seeing the machinations that we normally are given, and it makes the show somewhat helter skelter. But, that's subjective! On with the confessionals. Wendell, just wow. What is he thinking. He came across horribly with in the tribe and in front of the tribe. So glad that Parv was not falling for his BS. Nick and Yul taken off guard. But, will it lead to his demise? The question is how tight was the pre-game bond between Wendell and Michelle? Can they work together, will they opt for each other over Yul and Nick? Talk about pregame bonds....Nick, Yul, Wendell? I dunno. Michelle: Impressive. Wendell may have gotten the best of her IRL, but I think it will be Michelle that trumps Wendell in the game of Survivor! Regardless, I feel that Wendell, Nick, and Yul are more at risk than Michelle on this tribe, fwiw. Denise: KUDOS. She apparently didn't agree with Sandra calling her a non threat. She was handed a "BIG MOVE" on a silver platter and she delivered. But, it is going to make her more of a target moving forward? What will she think of Jeremy who indeed writes her name down? Denise, as a "non threat" is going to be safe next week. Clearly, in nuDakal, Jeremy points to Tony as the biggest threat. But, what is interesting is that I think Jeremy wants to keep a bigger threat in the game than he is. If Tony were to go, who would be the biggest threat on that tribe? Kim? It would be very interesting indeed if this tribe were to go to TC, but I have a feeling that Jeremy, Denise and Kim would prevail. Tony: Got to be at risk for next week. We see him and his antics in action racing down the beach. At Yara the writing is on the wall. Adam is clearly a narrator and the voice of Yara. But, Adam is in trouble if they go to TC. Adam: at risk. But, regarding Adam, historically they go around merge time. So maybe at slight risk? At risk: Wendell, Yul, Nick, Tony, Adam. Everyone else ~ safe. Episode 6 Yara day 15 1. Ben: Tribal went fantastic, we votted out BR. He hada plan to keep us under his thumb. I was like, look don’t treat me like some rookie newbie out here! And, that’s what it came down to, it was lack of respect, and for that reason alone, I couldn’t live with him anymore. So, I am out here having fun and building relationships to show people that I can change my game, right? That’s my goal. And on this tribe I have grown quite closer to Sarah, and to be honest to Sophie too, she’s a good person and I like good people! 2. Adam: The general sense of the tribe is that the wicked witch is dead and we can do whatever we want now. But, the truth is I am really nervous. I’m on a tribe with people that might have stronger connections with others than they do with me. And Ben has seemingly become very close with Sophie and Sarah but when we have time alone he’s barely talking to me. So, I don’t feel like this is a great celebration in fact I feel a little more cornered on this tribe now than I did before BR went home. EoE Amber 1 Tyson 3 Rob 1 3. Parvati: OMG! This is the idol nullifier it will cost you one fire token. Done! How did I get this? Challenge... When Jiffy says both tribes going to TC...see Adam OMG, Kim OMG. 4. Adam: The most amazing thing for me is that it’s like winning 2 immunity challenges back to back! We’re going from 14 people in the game to 12 people in the game, that’s a double elimination, it doesn’t get better than that! Sele 5. Parvati: The immunity challenge was rough and now I am pretty sure that the guys are coming after me. I know they see me as a threat and seeing that Rob got voted out , I feel really alone here. Like, I’ve got Michelle, but that’s it. You know I have the idol nullifier, but what I really need is numbers, otherwise I am screwed! 6. Nick: Honestly I am pretty bummed. I mean she is one of my favorites, I was hoping to play this game with her. She was my survivor crush, however Wendell and Yul, they are my closest allies in the game, so if they want to vote her out I guess that is what I have to do. 7.Michelle: I hate this, but honestly I don’t think this plan is going to work. These three guys are tight, they are not gonna vote each other out at this point and it sucks. Parvati is my best friend out here but I don’t know if I can save her. So, if she is already going home all I can do is to see if there is some way to benefit my game. 8.Wendell: I’m shocked! I’m like, Michelle, are you really writing my name down, is that really what is going down? That’s petrifying for me. That’s two Wendells, you onlyl need one more. Michelle wants to have her cake and eat it too, she doesn’t want to vote Parv out, but at the same time she wants Parv’s tokens. I’m like, wow, Michelle is playing the game. 9.Michelle: Wendell doesn’t trust me, that much is clear. I’ve offered to betray Pavarti, but he still doesn’t trust me. And, I’m pissed! Because when I was dating him, I was the one who got burned so why would I move forward with somebody who I am giving, giving, giving and he is taking, taking, taking. 10.Parvati: Wendell’s walking around like he’s so confident, he owns this place and he’s running the show, but, he just made a move that was really dumb and that is all I need to turn the spot light away from me and put it on Wendell. 11.Nick: Me and Wendell, we talked about going to the end together. And, he talks the talk but I am not really sure if he walks the walk. I’ve kind of been on cruise control, just trying to make it to the merge. But, now I’m thinking, I’ve got to start playing this game.....see Nick talk to Michelle and she tells him that she trusts Parv more than Wendell..... This is a huge decision. Parvati is a threat but she is a visible threat whereas Wendell, he is more of a hidden threat. So, it makes sense for me to get rid of him in exchange for someone I can trust. Whatever I do tonight is gonna have huge consequences, I just hope I don’t regret it! Dakal 12.Tony: Our tribe only has 5 people right now, but I am in the majority of the numbers but that is not what worries me right now. I don’t know if Sandra is going to flip on me, I don’t know if Kim is going to flip on me, Jeremy and Denise might have an idol that they can use it on, I need that information. And, there is only one way to get that information and that is a spy bunker. 13.Jeremy: Coming in, Denise and I are the old Sele, but I have this safety without power advantage. I can leave TC as soon as I want, I don’t have a vote, but I’m here tomorrow. It’s going to be right here, waiting, (pats his pocket), and I am quick on the draw, that’s my only problem. 14.Denise: Going into tonights Tribal I am extremely uneasy. I don’t think it’s going to be easy, I think it’s going to be an extreme challenge, and I think I may end up burning an idol that I wish I had further down the road. Sandra is very direct and very honest and I think she really believes that she is in charge of the game. It’s not how I play but it’s the way the games played. My strategy is to kind of play it humbly. Let them know that I get that I need them, they don’t need me. 15.Kim: We cannot find Tony anywhere and honestly, I am starting to get nervous, why in the world would Tony be missing? ....He gets like this on Tribal days, he’s like a split personality 16.Jeremy: Tony’s been great up until now. But, as soon as we have to start talking, Tony’s gone. Tony! What are you scrambling for, your names not even on the chopping block, what are you doing, Tone? 17.Tony: I decided to pop out of my bunker and sure enough my timing couldn’t be more off 18.Kim: These are the people that I am in bed with, the guy that freaks out that can’t even stay to have a level headed conversation after the chllange. And, that is concerning for me 19.Sandra: I still haven’t decided how I feel about Denise going home. Tony and Jeremy keep drilling it into my head that the big targets need to stick together, and I get that. But, what they don’t understand is that I have alot of people on the other side that are with me, so Tony is the only one going to benefit from Jeremy sticking around .I have an idol that is good for only one more TC. I have 0 fire tokens and I want somebodies 2 tokens. Me and Tony are a pretty good team right now, but he’s a very paranoid player. I know Tony well enough to know that my days are numbered with him. He will take me out if I don’t take him out again. I already know it. 20. Denise: This is not a selfless act, there is something in it for her and what I think is in it for her is, I stay in the game and her hands are clean. I actually have an idol in my bag so I don’t need this but if it’s real, I could make a move that literally in my S career, feels like it could be game changing! If the votes are coming the way that Sandra is telling me, and everybody is coming for me, I can pick anyone of those people and send them home. He had the confessional of doom post IC. He spoke of targeting Wendell for his trash talking...I have to wonder how Michelle weaseled her way into such a "tight" knit trio? Michelle had 2 confessionals. She is emerging for me as an end game player. We constantly hear her conviction and motivation of trying to prove herself as a worthy player. Over and Over again. We heard this confessional in this episode: For this vote there are pros and cons as to who we should vote out tonight. I have been wanting to get Wendell out of his game because I’ve been thinking about my past with Wendell and how I’ve been hurt by him. So, I would love some revenge in that direction just to make sure that I don’t fall for his tricks twice. But, it makes sense to get rid of Yul because he’s super strategic and he will probably win at the end of this game. So, this vote is so difficult but I went four years thinking I might not have deserved to win my season and every single day, every decision that I make I am proving that I deserve to win and I deserved it that time. That was the last confessional prior to TC. Michelle is trumping everyone in this tribe, imho. Nick: He was the man in the middle this episode. Wanted Wendell out, but could see rationale for Yul as well. Why didn't he consider Michelle? We saw them bond, Michelle and Nick, she would follow whatever direction he set. She is playing a similar game to the Queen, as long as it's not her. I don't see Nick as winner, he was just so vacant in the beginning of the show. Wendell: I see Wendell as not long for the game. He turned a corner in the last episodes tribal council, opened some eyes. We've heard that Michelle doesn't not want to go to end game with him and wants some revenge. Nick wanted him gone as well. If these are his closest allies, he's in serious trouble. We also don't hear any driving motivation from him or strategy. His only comment in regard to that was how he didn't want to be the builder in the beginning of the show, but then we saw how he reverted right back on that. He'll be gone sooner rather than later. We also hear his name mentioned in the preview promo. The interesting thing with the nuSele move is that it's going to speak VOLUMES to the rest of Yul's alliance, namely, Sophie. We hear Wendell mention in the NTOS preview, Sophie is playing! Hmmmmm? nuDakal: Tony had the first confessional from this group as we saw him entertain his tribe. He's very popular among his tribe mates and they all recognize at the same time that he is the biggest threat. As comical as Tony can be, we DO hear his strategy and thoughts at every single episode and turn, which I think is good for him. Just as we hear all his tribunates call him the bigger threat/shield, we hear that it's his strategy as well when he's super happy that Denise did him a favor and took out the Queen, and made herself a target. He also loves Kim and Jeremy too. We also know that Tony has a tight connection with Sarah, and she's in a great position. I think Tony is AOK at this point in the game. Jeremy: Jeremy is another contender to win. He's chill, he's well liked, he's easy to play with, and he is a shield for others. He has the same strategy as Tony, and he names Tony as the bigger shield. Will be fun to see which one out lasts the other here. Tony or Jeremy. Kim: I don't think that Kim can win the game because she's just been so quiet in confessionals. We see that her arcs are rising, however, and now it's she that is planning for post merge. We see that she is feeling better with denise and Jeremy, and she does like Tony. She has direction. Denise: After such a big move we get one confessional from Denise, and it's that she now feels she has a tight three; Herself, Jeremy, and Kim. But not Tony. She basically says those big targets better watch out for her and her "under the radar" game. When big targets was noted, we see Jeremy and Tony. A bit defensive. Interesting to note that Denise's confessional was the final one at nuDakal. Tony, as the biggest threat was first, then the next biggest threat, Jeremy, then Kim, more of a threat than Denise, and finally Denise. Hmmmm? Yara: Sophie has the dominant position in this tribe, she has the idol, and she has the secret. And, for some unknown reason she has Adam trusting her. Ben, wants to go look for the HII, Adam is pissed, it's so obvious that Ben or Sarah have it and are pretending to look, do they think he's an idiot? This is awful for Adam, imo. He is an "idiot" for discounting Sophie. Adam is the king of making things happen in his favor but I have serious doubt....I doubt that he will win this game. His frustration with Ben, Sarah is obvious, and Sophie is playing him as an idiot. As the main narrator for his tribes, he's in serious trouble with merge. Jeremy and Denise have found a tight group, Ben+Sophie+Sarah are good, I don't see many paths moving forward for Adam. He's expendable. (Have to include a counter point for Adam though....winner always needs to have doubt cast on them On the NTOS preview we have a very whiny confessional from Adam. Serious trouble ahead. Ben is good for now, he's changed his M.O. in my opinion. We heard how he wanted to change his game in the beginning of the season, and he did. He's very social and making connections and it's working for him at this point. But, in a season of serious players can he out last? If he is able to start to up his challenge game and find a few idols, he could. At this point I still see Ben in a good position. He didn't burn bridges with Jeremy, Denise, or Michelle either. He has options. Sarah is also in great shape at this point in the game. She has options, she has Sophie, she has Tony, and she has new ties, Ben, as well as old ties. Sarah, at this point is a contender imo. I think the two that are in the most danger with merge are Wendell and Adam. Wendell has a huge target on his back and his closest ally's have both voiced that they want him out. Sophie, his other ally was closer to Yul than to Wendell? Adam, persona non grata in Yara, as well as the old Sele. Tony being painted as the biggest threat on nuDakal, but is he really? Confessionals: EOE: Parv 1 Sandra.2 Continuous Sele night 16 1. Yul: TC kinda sucked. Wendell got into with Parvati and then on top of it he kinda said make me an offer, tell me who to vote out, I’m open to work with you...that tells me, what the he!! are you doing? He created alot more drama alot more uncertainty than he needed to kinda blew things up, for no reason!.....After our conversation I just gotta watch him, I’ll see how he, what he does in future TC’s. 2. Wendell: Michelle played a few years ago, she did pretty well, I played 2 years ago and I did pretty well too. Let me play my game! If you want to put me on some kind of leash I might trun around and bite you. 3. Michelle: Wendell acted extremely defensive and confrontational. I’m a little bit surprised because I gave Wendell one of Parvati’s fire tokens to repair our relationship but it didn’t work. If he thinks it’s going to be me and him always until the end and that I am blindly going to stay true to that, when the reality is I don’t want to move forward in this game with Wendell. (hmmmm?) EOE: Ethan: 1 Expresses concerns with body and stem cell transplant, and thinking dark things Tyson: narrates clue 1 Rob: Narrates the sprint get there first ad have an edge Tyson: narrates portly chap...finds a fire token... Rob: in the majors batting 750, Dakal: 4. Tony: Today, I feel like I am in a good position, even without Sandra, who I was close with, because right now we have 2 sele’s and 2 dakals, I’m close with Kim and I’m hoping I’m getting close with Jeremy, so we formed a nice bond between the 3 of us and I am just so grateful that Denise pretty much did me a favor by taking out Sandra at TC, she made a flashy move, she took out the queen so that makes her a big target and that’s good news for me because I need protection in front of me, I need shields in front of me! Denise in my book, she’s AOK! (two thumbs up) 5. Jeremy: (Narrational) Tony thinks that Denise is growing on the target eschalon. Tony is clearly still the biggest threat out here. He’s still a big name, he’s still crazy wild Tony, I do like Tony but he is the bigger threat in this game. 6. Kim: I feel good with this group, it’s a bit of an interesting dynamic. I have a good relationship with Tony, I love Tony, however I really feel good with Jeremy and Denise. Like, Jeremy and I have a great bond and I like Denise alot as a player, I trust her I think she’s well meaning, I think we can play well together so if push came to shove I think I could be convinced to go with them at this point and I haven’t been dominated this game and I like getting the chance to be in charge with my own fate out here and getting the chance to make new bonds with people. I think it gives me more options. 7. denise: I single handedly took out the queen and now there is a solid three of us that want to move forward together with Kim, Jeremy and myself, and so everybody comes in to S playing a difft style and a difft way to play.....and I know that my way of playing can be construed as playing under the radar, riding coat tails, however you want to look at that, but there are big targets in very small places (see Tony and Jeremy) (casting doubts!), you better be watching out because, I am, I am here to play just like everybody else! Yara: 8. Sophie: So for the first time ever in S I can say that we had leftovers this morning, Peanut butter can kind of stick us together because there is real tension bubbling beneath the surface. The boys are saying where’s the HII? They have no idea. I have the idol in my bag! 9. Ben: I’m asking Adam if he has the idol, and no, nope he’s saying I don’t have it.I say Okay, well let’s go looking for the idol 10. Adam: It’s just such a charade, I’m convinced that between Ben and Sarah that they have an idol. ....It’s so obv to me that they are pretending to look for an idol. I’m not an idiot guys, and I can’t stand it. 11. Sophie: Adam is convinced that Sarah has it so I told Ben and Sarah every thing that Adam says so they know there is not some kind of side alliance... 12. Sarah: I know where the idol is, it’s in Sophie’s bag so I say I am going to set this straight.... 13. Adam: I speculate that Sarah has an idol so now it’s all out in the open! And, now I have to do damage control and I am convinced that they are the ones lying to me. (Adam is portrayed here as the “idiot”, they are lying to him be he never verbally accuses the one that actually has it, Sophie.) This is ridiculous...there is a chance that I am wrong and between Ben and Sarah that they don’t have it, then I’ll feel like an idiot but there has been a few times in S that I felt as confident about something as I do about this. ends with shot of Sophie sitting right next to Adam. Challenge. Post challenge confessional: 14. Yul: The four of us are tight, we’re close but Wendell is a little bit of a trash talker a little bit of a show boat and if he had just maintained his focus that could have been the difference between winning or losing today so he kinda dug his own grave today. 15. Nick: I am so frustrated with Wendell right now. He shoulda been focused on the puzzle...he’s showboating, he’s talking trash, we lose this by a second. If it wasn’t for Wendell screwing up the puzzle, we woulda won. It was my goal to keep this core 4 together through the merge, and if it wasn’t for Wendell we woulda done it. 16. Wendell: I think Yul is coming after me. Maybe it’s because I talked a little bit too much at tribal. It’s wierd because I thought we were really like-minded, I thought we were locked in but I guess we’re not. Me and Michelle have been a little wishy washy but she’s the one that I have the most rapport with so I am banking on Michelle tonight to vote with me and I’m banking on Nick to do the same. 17. Yul: The interesting thing about the fire tokens being a thing this season, we know they have some value, I mean they are currency and everyone believes, including me that they are going to have more value later on in the game, after the merge. So, I came up with a plan. 18. Nick: Yul wants to back stab Wendell and get the fire tokens that Wendell has. It’s definitely kind of a dark strange situation and I’m slowly realizing that siding with Yul is super dangerous in this game. 19. Michelle: For this vote there are pros and cons as to who we should vote out tonight. I have been wanting to get Wendell out of his game because I’ve been thinking about my past with Wendell and how I’ve been hurt by him. So, I would love some revenge in that direction just to make sure that I don’t fall for his tricks twice. But, it makes sense to get rid of Yul because he’s super strategic and he will probably win at the end of this game. "RE: Episode 7 Confessionals" Thank you for doing this, FP. 4 things I take from this: 1- Isn't it strange that, of all these big characters, Adam has the most confessionals? I was thinking this was a great sign for him but after last week's disastrous episode, I think he is a narrator out around the merger. 2- Sophie is in a great position, editing-wise for a non-male-in-your-face winner. She's the highest woman but still hidden behind players that hog more airtime. 3- Michelle has solid content, especially that last interview that you transcribed. I'd like her focus to be less on Wendell but if he leaves soon and she continues to shine then we'll have to seriously consider her. 4- I am one of the few that enjoyed One World and I really liked Kim's game play. For me, the way she got Troyzan and Alicia to vote her way instead of how they were leaning was simply masterful. Kim played One World with alot of people that imo were not the most focused and some of them were just downright characters and not what I would call serious players. I think that Kim was far more focused, intelligent and eloquent socially to master that season. She was masterful! She was single! Frankly, I think Kim is in a different head space this season and let's face it, she's playing in an entire game of masters who are in serious, focused mind-sets. She's a mom and she's struggling out there and as a mom, I can relate to that...Her heart is in the game but she's seriously missing her family. It's a huge deal for a young mother. "RE: Episode 7 Confessionals" "Kim played One World with alot of people that imo were not the most focused... That is a common criticism of that season but I think it's mostly false. Survivor is a simple game and everyone in that season knew how to play it. The difficulty is mostly in the timing which can be defined by the question: "How long can I trust my allies?" Kim's mastery was mostly in finding the words that made everyone think they could trust her one round longer than was good for their game. Ben had first confessional regarding merge time, most exciting part of the game. Then he narrates, first Tyson's plan. He's on board with the big targets, himself, Tyson, Tony, Jeremy. We see him go and collect the others and tell them. Tyson was the originator of the plan/alliance, and we see it form. It's Tony however, that gives us the confessional about it...That’s music to my ears because that is exactly what I wanted. People like Wendell, Nick, Adam and Michelle....they are good players, but they are lower profile, they are not in the spotlight. There are no targets on these people, so now is the time for me to get rid of all of them! Then, Ben's final confessional is narrating the choice for the big target alliance, Nick. Tony had the first confessional at merge regarding the mark up of prices, and then thankfully the merge feast was free and how grateful he was. Then, we hear Tony's strategy and observations, he is a big target and wants to go after the low profile players: I want to keep the higher profile threats, us lions, in the game. And, Nick is a player, that hyena, that I have talked about. He stays on the outskirts, he just waits for the lions to go at it, and that’s when he comes in to see what he can get. He’s a scavenger. He speaks about the lions, as does Sarah in her one confessional: To be one of 12 sitting at that table, one of the 12 greats, it’s unbelievable! But, the lines are so blurred right now that it looks like a big bowl of spaghetti and you don’t know where one relationship starts and one ends. Everyone’s a lion that is sitting at the table right now, it’s just who has the biggest mane right now. Clearly, she and Tony are in cahoots. Jeremy, who has been a winner contender and who has played a pretty chill game voiced that he wanted to be driving the bus much earlier in this season. Now we hear him say it again, and he attempts to drive the bus.....and FAILS. He wants to be Wendell's number one, so he wants to gun for Nick. He wins the IC, he has power, and he wants to be the one driving the bus after Nick, but doesn't want the others to see him driving the bus. FAIL. As Sophie tells us: Between Nick and Wendell? Who would be more likely to work with me in the future? And, I see Wendell, and Jeremy and Wendell are constantly “broing” out. My sense of what is happening is a bunch of the, air quote, “Big guys”, Jeremy, Tony, Tyson, and Ben, all got together and said, maybe Wendell, maybe Nick, but alot of power in this tribe is coming with Jeremy. And, I think Wendell is Jeremy’s man. Sophie sees this alliance forming 100%. Sophie is TIGHT with Ben, and he tells her that it's Jeremy that wants to go for Nick. She sees it. Then, we see Ben go to tell Jeremy, that the "group" wants Wendell out, and he jumps on board with Adam. We see him go to work, as do every tribe member there. Horrible episode for Jeremy. Strike two for wanting to drive the bus. One more and he's out. In the Jeremy vs. Sophie conflict, Sophie is +1. She is playing the game that Jeremy wants. Could she be our winner? Have to point out though, this casts doubt on a Jeremy win, but he's NOT out yet. But, clearly Sophie and company are on to him. And, he's become a bigger threat than possibly Tony, Ben, and Tyson. Sophie, Adam, Wendell and Tyson had 2 confessionals. Denise is very strategic. She has the confessional about Denise and her tale of the Sandra vote out. She clearly noted that one person has a resume out here, good to know! Then, we already heard about her other very astute confessional regarding Jeremy and the power. Adam: His first was great regarding loving the rain and noting that the others were acting like they had never played....next was the last of the episode. We see Sophie and Denise assure Adam, while Ben does not. Can Sophie and Denise save Adam in the future? Tyson questioned if he was becoming soft, but the challenge gave him confidence. It was his suggestion to Ben about the big targets work together as they were already so outnumbered. But, we didn't have Tyson have a confessional about it. It was Ben and Tony that got that. But, he did have a good confessional about if you let him get his roots in, he'll make a home. That's when he spoke to Ben about the big targets, planting seeds. Sarah, Denise, Nick, and Kim all had one. We already heard Sarah's, Denise's was about she had a day one alliance with Adam, but is it a day 39 alliance? Denise was noted as a target, one with a resume, and we also saw Jeremy throw her under the bus. Wendell spread it as well. Denise has indeed become a more visible target, these winners pay attention. In this episode she got on Sophies, Ben's, Wendell's, Nick's radar and she was already on Tony, Kim's and Jeremy's. Nick was narrational pointing out Denise had won immunity so why not Adam. Note that he said everybody who has worked with him says they don't trust him. Interesting. Michelle has NO confessionals. And, we see that she is blindsided at TC. At this merge episode we start to see who is grabbing power....Sophie. I have to note that Tony got alot of confessionals and we are seeing every point of his game play out. I note that he is holding his tongue when he speaks with others, letting them come up with the names. He's playing, seemingly, a more beta game, which is a huge contrast from his first winning season. I love it. Jeremy goes to take control and fails. Sophie wins round one. Tyson is laying low, bodes well. Adam is a minion and everyone seemingly knows his game. Nick and Michelle out of the loop? Confessionals: 1. Ben: This merge is the most exciting moment of the game because this is where the battle starts. Time to find out who is the champion of champion. It gives me chills just talking about it. 2. Tyson: the EoE was tough, it made me think that maybe I am not cut out for this stuff anymore, maybe fatherhood has made me soft. So winning the it today boosted my confidence a little bit and made me think you know maybe I can still do the things out here that I knew I could.... 3. Tony: So we come into the merge camp and we see a new menu, prices have gone up, I can’t buy anything! I’m looking at the menu, 3 tokens, 2 tokens, I got one, I can’t do nothing! I’m like a poor kid looking at the bodega and I don’t have enough money to buy a little bubblegum. But, thankfully the feast does not cost you anything and I am very grateful for that! I love it! Then see Ben yell, “Tony” and they get a big hug! 4. Sarah: To be one of 12 sitting at that table, one of the 12 greats, it’s unbelievable! Sophie: Denise’s story felt a little bit like we were in a bar and whe was telling us old war stories, it just made her look really good, but I had the think that everyone thought, Hmmmmph! One person has a resume out here, good to know! 6. Tyson: I am honestly the only OG player out here, they are all new school players. I played three times before most of these new school players even put their Survivor diapers on. Are the kids coming up now changing the game so much that I can’t adapt? I don’t think so! (See them all toast to Tyson). If I were these people I would get rid of me every single time, because if you let me get my roots into whatever cracks are there, I’m going to build a home. 7, Wendell: At this point in the game you want the right team around you, the right people protecting you. I have Michelle and I have Nick, two people that I can really trust but we need more numbers. I met Jeremy once or twice outside the game, I know he’s a great guy, I really want to work with him! So, at this point in the game I really want to work on my relationships. 8. Jeremy: I like Wendell, I have a mutual respect with him, so I want him to come and work with me. Wendell has Nick as his right hand man. I want to be that person, so I want to see Nick go! If I could get rid of Nick, than I could be his number one guy, so I want to see Nick go. 9. Ben: Tyson’s right. Big players, big names have been taken out left and right. I mean you look at Tyson, Rob, Parvati, Sandra, there is four names right there. And, after that it will keep going .....We’re drawing lines, it’s going to be big threats vs. little threats so that’s where we need to start putting the targets. *See Ben gather Jeremy and Tony and walk down the beach to tell them their plan.... 10. Tony: That’s music to my ears because that is exactly what I wanted. People like Wendell, Nick, Adam and Michelle....they are good players, but they are lower profile, they are not in the spotlight. See Tyson ask Wendell and Nick if they had heard any names. They suggest Denise 13. Wendell: Denise took down the queen, that places a lot of eyes on Denise, and I want to vote people out that are playing a winners game right now. Man, get them away from this island. (ironic) Challenge When sarah dropped, close up of Tony. when sophie dropped, see Ben See Wendell and Nick when Denise wins 14. Jeremy: when you have this necklace, you have power. It’s my plan to go after Nick. But, I don’t want to be the one that is looked at as the boss. Make no mistake, I want to drive this thing but I don’t want everybody to know I’m driving. 15. Tony: I want to keep the higher profile threats, us lions, in the game. And, Nick is a player, that hyena, that I have talked about. Ben: It’s Nick, right, socially his game is actually pretty good. But, he’s just butting in on everybodies conversations now, which is very weird. It’s very concerning cause you never know when it’s going to happen. It’s like, Dude! Nick is killing me though, if the group decided Nick tonight, I’ll write Nick’s name down. 17. Nick: Denise is immune tonight but she is super close with Adam, so I said alright, let’s vote out Adam. That’s super easy. Everybody that has worked with him has said, don’t trust Adam. See Sophie, Ben and Adam talk. Ben tells them people are thinking of either Nick or Wendell. Sophie tells them that she prefers Wendell. 18. Sophie: Between Nick and Wendell? Who would be more likely to work with me in the future? And, I see Wendell, and Jeremy and Wendell are constantly “broing” out. My sense of what is happening is a bunch of the, air quote, “Big guys”, Jeremy, Tony, Tyson, and Ben, all got together and said, maybe Wendell, maybe Nick, but alot of power in this tribe is coming with Jeremy. And, I think Wendell is Jeremy’s man. See Sophie plant the seed for Wendell with Tony first. He’s agreeable. Then, we see Tony go to Ben, Adam, Sarah and say, “Sophie wants Wendell”. Ben goes to tell Jeremy....the groups is wanting Wendell. He argues that Wendell is another shield for us. 19. Jeremy: Wendell is on the chopping block, it’s horrible. I don’t want that! I want to work with him. Wendell and Nick are voting for Adam. As long as Wendell is safe I would love to see Adam go. Let’s just vote for Adam. (Ben tells him, if we are going to change it, it’s going to be a lot of work. Then we see Jeremy go to work....) 20. Denise: You know Adam has been one of my closest alliance members. But, at the same time you just have to go with the flow or go with tide. So, Adam and I created a day one alliance, but that may not be a day 39 alliance. 21. Adam: Of course I am nervous, Nick and Wendell think it’s me, people that I think do have my back (sophie), are telling me stay calm, stay cool. Easy to say when it’s not your name on the line. What I am hearing is either Nick or Wendell and nobody being able to make up their mind ....what is the plan? I don’t know, I don’t know. Then, I go to Ben and he’s, “I don’t know what it is....Like, dude! I’m trying to stay alive here, why are you upset, you are a crazy man! (See Denise tell him to trust the process). tonight is about survival. And, I’m scared, I don’t want to go home, and I don’t want to go to the edge. Nick vows to start playing the game and he's going after everyone that double crossed him, starting with Sarah. Interesting that we are shown Tony consoling Nick at night after TC. I also noted that when Nick noted that he was ready for some revenge, the statement ended with a bell ringing for extra impact. NOTEWORTHY, perhaps? Sarah gave him the reward, he appreciated it, but now he doesn't owe her anything. And finally, Nick confides that the more chaos created the better for him, see him go to Tyson and tell him his name is out by Sophie. Then we see the chaos as it ensues. Nick is the one edited to create the chaos. Nicks arc is picking up. (Tyson got credited for the confusion as well) Adam seemed a bit paranoid re: Ben. He first spoke of his suspicion re: HII at tribal. Then he comments after the RC about the mistake Sarah made, he's on to her and knows her game, can't trust her as far as he can throw her. Throughout the show however, especially when the large group was deciding between splitting votes on Sarah, Adam, or Michelle, it was BEN that got the vote off of Adam and onto Michelle. But, we saw Adam constantly question Ben and the reason they should vote Sarah was her closeness to Ben. This was Adam's demise. And Tyson gets the credit for noting that it was Adam that had the power to sway everyone against the agreed upon target, so he needed to go. Tony had 2 confessionals and alot of presence. As I noted above, in the middle of Nick's revenge confessional, we see Tony going to him at night to soothe and reassure him. Tony has empathy and is trying to forge relationships even though we know he thinks Nick is a hyena. Tony also has a confessional at the end of the RC when he comments on Sarah's one emotional moment, but that one moment could take you down. We see him talk to her. Next, he confirms his commitment to go after the hyenas in the season, who wait for the lions to go at it and then they go in for the kill. Tony considers himself a lion along with Jeremy, Tyson, Ben. This week, Tony got his way as for him, a hyena went home. Sarah had two confessionals. She gave Nick the reward as a human to human good will measure, it was his birthday and he got blindsided on it. She wanted to be "nicer". Next, she is told by Tyson, that Adam threw her name out...a bomb went off for her, Mistake, brother, now your a$$ is going to go home! (It was Adam that saved Sophie. At first they aimed at Sophie, and they wanted to break Sophie and Sarah up. But, it was Adam, who seemingly has blind loyalty to Sophie, that changed the target to Sarah as she was closer to Ben.) Sophie was laid back and seemingly out of the action today, even though her name came up, her minion, Adam, did her work for her. A testament to how she's playing the game. Remember, on Yara, Adam accused Sarah and Ben as having the HII, and never once suspected Sophie. ??? Michelle has first confessional reacting from being kept out of the loop again despite telling them she was okay with voting Wendell out. Next, she reacts to getting the 50/50 coin and she got two fortune cookies that helped her make her decision. I have a feeling the 50/50 coin will indeed pull through for Michelle. Ben comments before TC how much the group decision has changed, and predicts it will change again. Narrational. Jeremy comments on Sarah giving her reward away, when he did it, they voted him out. (reactionary) Tyson's confessional was more strategic and dynamic. His was: We agree to Sarah but I think Adam’s more dangerous as a player. I think, ok, I have to do something...I’ve never loved confusion in the game S, I have always wanted it to be straight forward. But, what I am learning is if you create a little bit of confusion, people start to forget about you a little bit. Then we see Tyson tell Sarah that it was her name out there but they changed it to him....it created confusion so his plan worked. Kim had one confessional after her IC win. She thought it would be a non eventful vote, as the majority would aim for some on the exterior, namely Michelle and Nick. Kim does not have deep confessionals and I am really perplexed about her, as she seemed so strategic in one world. This game consists of winners and they are so much farther ahead than she apparently is coming across as. She wanted to go with the easy vote, but yet, is there an easy vote with a bunch of winners. Her confessional was followed by Nick's when he told us he was tired of his name being thrown out as the easy vote and that he was vowing to chaos. We also see Kim agreeing to change her vote multiple times. kim is apparently just a number this season, imho. Denise and Sophie were zilch. Nick is gathering momentum, and he had some eye-opening statements. I think we will see him start his real game and commitment to winning here? Ben slides down a notch from 3 to 1. Adam, his partner in crime or at least through out the game is gone. Ben could be in trouble. Can't help notice how strong he is in challenges as well. Sarah is also starting an arc...will it be her final? Tyson as the returnee is still in danger imo. He could be that "easy" vote, and we did hear his name mentioned this episode. I think these people are safe this episode: Tony, Sophie, Jeremy, Michelle, Nick, Kim. At risk: Denise higher risk: Tyson, Sarah, Ben Episode 9 Confessionals. At night 21 1.Michelle: I am really, really annoyed. I hate getting blindsided and the fact is since the beginning. I’ve told these people that I was on board with that and yet, here we are. Me blindsided on the wrong side of the vote, AGAIN. Dejavu, all over again just like from Day 2. 2. Nick: I feel like Wendell was kinda the first shot. This is ruthless and cutthroat and there’s going to be bloodshed, and I am going to like it. I’m going to get on that train now, where I love blood. (See Tony come to Nick at night and try to calm him...). I feel it is my duty now to take out every single one of these people that double crossed me. I’m ready for some revenge. (Here a bell ring at the end of this statement for extra impact!) 3. Adam: Oh man! At TC tonight, my heart was beating literally like so fast, like out of my chest! It was outrageous, I was so incredibly nervous! But I am here, I’m here! Right now michelle is feeling incredibly low but I see it as an opportunity! I feel like there may be an idol in Jeff Probst’s podium. I recognize the fleur de lis symbol from the idol that Denise found. There is a fleur de lis symbol right in front of us at TC that makes me think that that might actually be a live idol,. In the chance that I am right it would be pretty epic to save myself! Day 22 Edge of Extinction. See yoga Amber 1 Natalie Danni Parv - finds the clue with Danni. Wants to sell advantage to Michelle for 4 fire tokens so they can buy peanut butter for 6 people in their group. They are excluding Yul and Wendell. (Natalie, Rob, Amber, Danni, Ethan, Parv) Challenge One sit out. Adam: Sarah made a mistake by switching out with Nick. Look, Sarah came into this game with quite a reputation. The way she played game changers, she blindsided friends left and right. So, if Sarah’s move put a bigger target on her back fine with me. I don’t trust her as far as I can throw her and I can’t throw very far. 5. Sarah: I gave Nick my reward as human being to human being. There was no game play in it. It was a complete genuine decision. Nick’s birthday was Yesterday, Nick got completely blindsided yesterday. This game is brutal, we are all away from our loved ones, he just got engaged. So, I hope it taught everybody a lesson, this is one world that we can be nicer to each other. 6. Tony: Wow, Sarah got caught up in the moment and that one moment is what costs you the game sometimes. If you can’t get out of the emotional, realistic, humane moment to be that barbaric survivor that you need to be. 7. Jeremy: Sarah gives up her reward to NIck, one of the main guys I want to talk to because he’s on the outs, come on, Sarah! And, I’ve done that before, giving up reward. You know what they did? They voted me out. 8. Nick: Sarah gives me the reward and I appreciate it. But, I don’t feel like I owe her anything. I don’t trust her anymore than I did, and it wasn’t much cause I know the game that Sarah plays and if Sarah was told to write down my name tonight, she would. But hopefully there are some clues hidden somewhere, an advantage, just something, and hopefully I can find it. 9. Michelle: This game is such an emotional roller coaster, literally last night was a seriously low point in the game for me. Then, this morning I received Wendell’s fire token, which puts me at 4 fire tokens which I think makes me the richest person out here. So I get back to camp and I notice something in my bag and I pull out this beautiful 50/50 coin advantage. This coin is 50/50 and I truly feel 50/50 on whether or not I should buy the advantage. But, at the reward today we had fortune cookies and two of mine were as the purse is emptied, the heart is filled and the other is don’t be afraid of taking that big step. So, now I feel like the survivor gods came down and put these fortunes into my fortune cookies to say, “Michelle, jump on this and get yourself some gosh darn power in this game of S”, so I am going to trade in my 4 fire tokens for this beautiful advantage. 10. Tony: My big concern from day one, out here has been that the lower profile players, who I call the hyenas of the game, will start coming after the higher profile players and pick us off one by one. So, right now I want try and go after the hyenas because they wait for the lions to go at it and then have the hyenas come in and Clean up shop. 11. Kim: Feels amazing to have the immunity necklace walking into tribal tonight. But, really tonights voe is not going to be some crazy huge thing unless an idol gets played....what appears to be the easy vote would be to stick with the larger group (see Ben, Tony, Denise), and then you’ve got Nick, Adam and Michelle that are kind of out casted from the group and I think that if that larger group were to stick together and vote one of those, everybody makes it through the night. (Ben suggests why not make it Michelle and Nick? They were with Wendell?), I think Nick’s not to be trusted, from my perspective, I don’t trust him, and I think he’s a challenge threat moving forward so Nick would be my preference tonight. Then we see Nick tell Tyson that his name is being throw out there again. Who? Sophie 12. Nick: I am going to take this game over, I am tired of my name getting thrown out as an easy vote. If there is going to be more and more chaos, that’s good for me. The more names out there the more and more people turn on each other Jeremy, Tyson, Adam talk. Tyson suggests Sophie, they turn to Adam, he suggests Sarah as she and Ben are like this! *tight. Then see Nick tell Michelle, we are doing Sarah, nobody else can know. Nick continues: Sarah gave me the reward but she’s tighter to a lot of people than she is to me, so I don’t feel bad if I can send Sarah home. See Denise and Kim talk. 1 group saying Nick or Michelle and another group saying Sarah....Tyson walks with Kim noting that Adam, if he has that kind of power to convince everyone, it should be him. 13. Tyson: We agree to Sarah but I think Adam’s more dangerous as a player. I think, ok, I have to do something...I’ve never loved confusion in the game S, I have always wanted it to be straight forward. Sarah: Literally a bomb went off when my name came out of someone’s mouth and now, I am like, Hold up! This is not happening! Adam, he’s throwing my name out. Mistake, brother. Don’t throw my name out and you are going to learn why you don’t throw my name out. Because, your a$$ is gonna go home. 15. Ben: It’s hard to rope a bunch of winners into a single direction. The group decision has changed today and I think the group decision will change again today and I think the group decison will change at tribal again, too. So, I just hope the target doesn’t end up on me tonight... 16. Adam: Ben talks to me like I am a child that needs to be scolded. He’s a lot more like Boston Rob than he would ever admit. This conversation pisses me off more than any other conversation I have ever had on Survivor. Then, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE! .....My plan tonight is to vote Sarah.Unless these guys are coming up with a new plan even as we speak. So that means that I might need to go for what I think might be an idol. I don’t know if it is anything, I could be completely wrong. I am imagining myself, watching myself and I am going like this, UGGGHHHH, he’s playing with so much fire, PLEASSEEE don’t let it burn him! Her first commented on the war, everyone put their guns down and her son was playing with the enemy, they are humans right now. Next was about how she wants to get Kim out, or she'll win the game but talking to Tony is like talking to a rock, and this will end badly. I thought in this conflict with Tony that Tony seemed the more clinical, rational, logical one and that it was Sarah that was playing emotionally and not listening to reason. Makes me think if it ends badly that it will be for her, and not Tony. Her last confessional just underlined that the guys had changed the vote again, to Jeremy. But when Tony told her why, that he was mentioning her name, she was good with it. Sarah is appearing tighter with Sophie than with Tony. She and Sophie are becoming lions in Tony's lair. More people are mentioning their names than Tony's. All good for Tony. Tony had two confessionals. He reacts to winning the "bullet proof vest", he's never gotten it in 3 seasons, it's more powerful than an HII. And, when he has it, people come to him. (and we see just that). His next was about Jeremy, he doesn't trust him, he's sneaky, and he would even vote Sarah out if he could, he's gotta go. I think he was able to get them all on board with Jeremy too, until Jeremy played his advantage, then, the vote turned to Tony's first choice, Tyson. Ben is taking over as narrator now that his conflict with Adam is over. He got the first confessional about the big blindside that was the loved ones, a reward for them for giving their all to the game, it was a full on celebration. Next, With 10 left, tonights vote will be huge, someone will be hit, there will be blood. Jeremy had two as well. First was interesting in that he spoke of the danger of Sophie and Sarah because they were close, they were dangerous to someone alone like, Jeremy. But, Tony told him they can't do that, he doesn't get a voice and that's not how it should be. The next one was about that he had the Safety without Power, he could leave, not get a vote, but his alliance needed him and that would be turning his back on them, and he's a firefighter, that's not what he does. Tyson had two, one about the family visit, and the one at the end when he noted that Kim had an idol and maybe if she played it right he could make it one more TC.... Kim and Sophie each had one confessional. Kim notes it's chaos at camp. A lot of conversations going on and she is not a part of them. So, she needs a different plan. Sophie had the last confessional that she wanted Sarah to play her steal a vote because if all 5 of them voted one way and all five of the other they could potentially go to rocks. There would be a war, who would be left in the trenches and who would win? Jeremy is perplexing to me. On one hand he played the Safety without Power and left his alliance high and dry, and the jury noted. BUT, huge focus on him and his family, they even saved him for the end to torture him....Clearlly more people can empathize with him fighting for his family than will hold it against him for using whatever advantage he had? But, can he make it that far? Tony ~ I see him as safe at this point. Playing and winning with patience, when he's a fast and sloppy guy. He's alive and well....so far. Ben: Mostly narrational at this point. Since his conflict is now over with Adam, will he be soon to go? He's another that could throw it into high gear. I think he's safe for now. Denise: Pretty much dismissed. Despite getting two votes, didn't even hear from her. She's at risk. Boy, Nick and Michelle fly under the radar. Nick from personna non grata to in the majority. He created chaos and everyone forgot about him...apparently. Michele acts like she is with Denise and Kim, but votes for Tyson. But, she's on no ones radar. I think these two are safe. I have to say there is a turn in Sarah's edit here, imo. We have heard more than a few comment on wanting to go after Sarah and Sophie. Sophie spelled it out at TC, she's the leader. But, at this point they are in the "majority". They may be safe for now, but for how long? I think Kim is most at risk. She was the leader of the "big move" she got Jeremy in on it, Tyson and pulled in Denise and Michelle, but her plan failed. She's in serious trouble. Ep 10 Confessionals. Day 24, Challenge beach 1. Ben: Today was the biggest blindside in survivor history. And the best part about it was that no one had to compete for their loved one. No one had to compete for their children. I think this is our reward for giving so much to this game that we love, and Jeff was like, hey! Good job, guys! So today was a full on celebration! 2. Sarah: So, today was like the war was called to a halt, everybody put their guns down. It didn’t matter if someone put your name down last night because today my son is playing with the enemy, because we are humans right now and it’s really cool to see everybody in their element 3. Tyson: To have kids out here for the first time, whole families in survivor, I think it was something really special and I am genuinely very happy that they got that moment. Edge of Extinction. Amber: To bring family members here, it’s like the greatest day ever! You would never know that we were suffering ever, everybodies just so happy, everybody has energy, nobodies thinking about hunger, nobody’s thinking about anything else, it’s like we’ve escaped! For a few moments we are as happy as can be! Parv: To have my husband here, who I met because of S, and our baby here where we should not even be having a family visit, my mond was exploding! Adam: I needed my dad to be here to gget some sense of closure from my mom’s passing. The most important thing was giving my dad that opportunity to be here where she was with me where she is with me. Him being able to come here, it made everything okay. Yul: I can’t describe how much sheer joy and happiness I felt in that moment Wendell: My dad, he’s the best, he’s my hero and it was just so good to see him! Ethan: I will always have that moment that I shared with my wife here on EoE, and that is like so special! Natalie: this is the one time on S that you can be yourself when you are with your family and you can see people just be them selves with the people they love the most, it was a magical moment! Rob: It was amazing having my kids here. They got to come here and experience what we hae been doing for almost 20 years.... Day 25. Immunity Challenge ~ Tony wins. 4. Ben: With 10 left, tonight is a huge vote! Tonight will prove who is in control o the tribe, Like a fog settling on the battlefield, there is going to be a lot of close fire, zinging by our heads. Someone will be hit tonight, there will be blood! 5. Tony: This is the first time in 3 seasons that I get to wear the bullet proof vest, right here, I have it! On a game that requires patience? That’s not my style of game! Slow and steady is not what I am made of! I’m made out of fast and sloppy! I am so happy! This is more powerful than any hidden immunity idol, and when you have the power, people come to you. 6. Jeremy: It’s getting down to the nitty gritty, and I would love to break up Sarah and Sophie. They’re close and that’s dangerous for people like me, who’s by himself, basically, you know? But, Tony’s like, we can’t do that, I don’t get a voice and that’s not how it should be, and that’s frustrating. 7. Sarah: I want to vote out Kim, she is gonna win this game if we don’t vote her out, but talking to Tony right now is like talking to a rock. He’s not even listening to what I am saying, he starts freaking out at me and then I freak out at him, it’s a mess, Geez Louise, how can we even work together? This is going to end badly if we can’t get this straightened out... (See Nick, Tony, Ben, Jeremy sitting together, then Kim approaches and calls Jeremy over...He just called her over.) Tony noted, do you guys want to blindside Jeremy? Yes, they will do it, he says, us three, Sarah and Sophie. (VOILA! That is how Nick got in with that five, they were planning on voting Jeremy, and then Jeremy walked out on the TC....) 8. Tony: There’s something fishy about Jeremy. He’s sneaky. I don’t trust him. Everytime we tell him something he wants to go against the grain. He would even vote Sarah out if he could, so he’s gotta go. 9. Kim: It’s chaos at camp. There are lots of conversations going on and we are not a part of it. I need to start getting a different plan. (She tells Tyson and Jeremy she has an idol, us three to the end) 10. Tyson: I am worried about it could be me going back to the edge tonight. I’ve already been voted out once, but Kim, she has an idol, and if we play it right maybe I can last at least one more vote 11. Sarah: OH my gosh, they have changed the vote again! Are you serious? 12. Jeremy: I have my safety without power, I can leave TC, I don’t get a vote but I cannot be voted out. But now my alliance needs me. If I did leave I would be turning my back on my alliance. But, I’m a firefighter, we take care of people. 13. Sophie: Sarah has a steal-a-vote. I would prefer if she just played it tonight because if all five of those poeple vote togehter, we could potentially go to rocks. I counted 12 confessionals, some were long and drawn out but he changed locations within them...everytime he changed location, I counted it as another confessional. I think Tony is the key player this season because he constantly gives us dynamic confessionals. Confessionals that tell us his strategy. Where he is in the game and what he plans to do. Then we see that he does what he says, he follows it through. He begins his story telling us how he's been patient, he's changed his game. He didn't want to put a target on his back by looking for idols, so he didn't. Now, he's made it past the merge. But, after Tribal everyone is historically very tired, so he sees an opportunity. He wakes up early and goes to work. Interrupted by Nick, he sends him to look in an area that he's already looked in, and proceeds to find the idol! Tony exemplifies the feelings that all of us would have given the opportunity to play, he has a joie de vivre! He sums it up: I woke up early in the morning and I made sure that I was the first one looking, I’m somebody that knows how to play the game S, so, now I’ve got the real deal! I love it so much! Next he tells us that he can't go to the end with Jeremy, so he needs to get him out. He wants to infiltrate the group that he's not with, Jeremy, Michele, Kim, Denise, so he can blindside them. He's having all the fun in Survivor land! And, we see him go to work! First he sits with Jeremy, then goes to Michele, and he tells her that Jeremy is his number one, then we see him go to Jeremy and Kim. Jeremy then tells us in confessional that he believes that Tony is firmly with them, and then Kim tells us in confessional that she thinks Tony is doing this "psychotic" double agent act, and that he is her public enemy number one. Next he runs away from camp after he's discovered a scroll in his bag. He proceeds to read it, very excited to extort from someone, and then he gets to the end! Tony notes that extortion is illegal in the states but apparently not in Fiji! He gets to this point, So my plan in my head is to approach my fake alliance and tell them that I am in trouble and they need to help me so I can help them with the vote. He first goes to Michele, and strikes out, then to Jeremy, who gives him one. Jeremy has a confessional at this point talking about how "trust is huge out here and Tony trusts me" and he wants him to know that Tony needs him as much as he needs Tony. Next he goes to his real alliance to ask them, and we see him get another token from Nick and then Ben. After Tony wins the IC, his confessional is about had he not gotten the extra three tokens to play in the IC, then Jeremy would have won, but tonight they are voting him out! Immediately after this confessional from Tony, Kim comments that Tony winning two challenges puts a big target on his back and she's good with that and comments that Tony is completely playing Jeremy, but that's okay too cause she doesn't have the numbers so she has to go back to the group with Sarah and Sophie to vote out Jeremy....Then, Denise comments that she and Kim are in cahoots to blindside Jeremy. Tony has a very significant dynamic confessional when he notes that when Sarah decides how to run the vote that night, everyone is cool and calm but there is chattering, he tells them all lets just stop talking, if they stop and cool down it's better for him as he's always thinking when they are not. He has the IN and he's been patient but now he has an opportunity to flip flop and it's time for him to blindside someone, Sophie. She's too close to his partner, Sarah. He notes his real alliance is splitting the votes so this is an opportunity, he thinks Jeremy and Michele don't have much of a choice, so all he needs is Nick. He wants to hit them minutes before Tribal. Then we see him do just that! And, finally he gets the last confessional noting that Jeremy doesn't believe him! A huge spike in confessionals for Tony! It seems like all of the care taken with his edit prior to this episode was to set him up for this course of events. All the confessionals about how he had to change his game, be patient, don't come across as paranoid, commit to Sarah. Now, it's his time to move. So, as an integral character to the story of Winners at War, is it too much too soon? Will he be the hero of the series and win, or will he be usurped by one of his hyenas? That is the question! Jeremy had 6 confessionals and most of his confessionals served to validate Tony's. We heard Tony say he had to infiltrate within the group that he wanted to get out, namely Jeremy, Michele, Kim, Denise. We see that Jeremy confirmed that he trusted Tony, and he needed Tony to feel as though Jeremy needed him as much as he needed Jeremy. Then we heard Jeremy set his sites on Ben, and finally the confessional that doubted Tony regarding the plan to blindside him. Jeremy has told us that he needs to be driving the bus, yet this season we have seen him fail at this time and again. He's playing the game differently because his plan is not working for him. But, one thing is certain, Tony is a bigger Lion than he is. Michele had 3 confessionals, first she expresses concern that since they were left out of the vote that they are obviously on the bottom and could be picked off. Then she relays her conversation after Tony asked her for a fire token, and she had to come up with a resourceful answer to assuage his suspicion. And she did! Then, her final was to note that time was ticking for him to get those fire tokens. Kim had 2 confessionals and they were both in regard to not trusting Tony. Again, Kim is seen as a smart cookie, but why isn't anyone else validating her suspicions? We see her talk to Denise. Tony is her biggest enemy out here. So, we have a conflict developing between Tony vs. Kim. One will take down the other perhaps? My money is on Tony, but wouldn't that be amazing for Kim. Kim has tried to pull off a big move, but failed. Will it happen again? Ben had one confessional and it was narrational. He spoke of a solid five that he thinks he can go to the end with, but their target got up and left TC. So now, they are all after him, Jeremy. Sophie had one commenting on the idol in her pocket, but they had enough people to split the vote....famous last words. Denise had one, narrational, she was with a group but now is turning against it to save herself, and will vote out Jeremy. Sarah's confessional was ironic. She comments on that most people think she is smart and pretty but she's actually crafty and can make clothes. She gets to talk about Tony: I love Tony to death but he and I play this game two completely different ways. Tony wants to be splashy, I’m playing idols for them, but he’s not really playing a social game. My social game is really great. Sarah is feeling a bit arrogant about the position she's in comparing her game, socially stellar, to Tony's non social game. Yet, this episode we saw Tony stepping his game way up to the point that Sarah was distracted with the fashion show and didn't know what hit her at TC...Tony's plan worked. Too tell them all to calm down so he could go to work. He played circles around Sarah today. So, the question remains, WWSD? What will Sarah do? I also have to note the second episode in a row that Nick has NO confessionals. He's dropped down with Kim and Denise. Could Nick have a chance of winning this game? I just don't see much from him other than he's the perfect little hyena. If he makes it to end game with other hyenas, can he win challenges and prevail? Idk? I have to say that I feel the most in danger moving forward are Kim/Denise. Yet, I have to put Tony and Jeremy at risk as well! Tony has an idol. Confessionals: 1.Jeremy: I am not going to the edge with an advantage in my pocket. All week long everybody’s been lying....everybody, no one is telling the truth, I don’t know wha’ts going on. I’m telling the truth, So, I have my advantage, my safety without Power, so I said I’m outta here. Like a flash in the night, boom! Like a houdini trick, like poof, and I’m gone. You know it was beautiful. And, I come back to camp and oh man, I am losing my mind just waiting to see who’s coming back. Then I start seeing people come back one at a time. Ben comes, Sophie comes, Denise comes then I see Kim and Tony. Tyson is back on the edge. This is not good. 2.Ben: Going into TC, we had a real clean cut plan, Sarah, Sophie, Nick, Tony, and myself were gunning for Jeremy, but Jeremy gets up and leaves tribal, so there goes our target, right? Like, that’s our target and he just walked out. Safe as can be. Going forward Jeremy is obviously public enemy number one. This is an actual group of five that I think we can move forward and take control of the game with. So, my gut is telling me to stick with the five and go for the biggest threat, which is Jeremy. 3. Jeremy: Tyson was the biggest shield around so I wanted Tyson here as a shield for me. That’s my meat shield system, that’s how I win this game and as soon as I am outta tribal, up, they put the jump on Tyson. 4. Michele: The obvious situation when you are left out of the vote is and nobody seems to trust you is that you are probably on the bottom. So, now me, Kim, Jeremy and Denise are spinning around like little tops trying the figure out what is going on. Obviously we’re going to be picked off. 5. Tony: At the beginning of the season I couldn’t go and look for idols, I didn’t want to put a target on my back by leaving camp at all so I stayed in camp all the time. I was drooling, I wanted to go look but it would jeopardize my game. And look what happened, I’m still in the game, I made the merge and everything worked out wonderfully because I’ve been patient, and I haven’t been causing any paranoia by looking for idols. Everybody’s always tired after tribal, they’re exhausted, they sleep like logs so now I’m at a point where I say, you know what, now is my time, I can leave camp and go to work! Historically in S, when you play an idol, it goes right back into the game, so the idols back out there now. So, first thing in the morning I went to the area where I knew I wanted to target first, and I said to myself, this is where I’m going to look before anybody else gets up. (See Tony looking, and then Nick gets up) And, then when I’m out here looking, Nick shows up and he’s cramping my style, he needs to get outta here. I already looked at the water well area, so I said Nick, go to the water well, let’s split up, it’s a perfect strategy. You search the well first I’ll search this area first before anybody else does. So he says, ‘good idea’ and he goes off and i am so happy, so delighted that he did that. So, I continue my search. I went right to work, I was looking, looking, looking, looking, looking, scratching, scratching, looking up then looking looking looking....I picked up a rock behind a big root and there was a little package! I grabbed that little package and I ran full force into the jungle till I came to a spot where I knew it was safe to look, I open it up, I peel it open and sure enough, it’s an idol, I am so excited! I really didn’t think I was going to find an idol this season because of the way I was playing but say hello to my little friend! This is season 40, these are all veterans so you gotta think of everything! And, I woke up early in the morning and I made sure that I was the first one looking, I’m somebody that knows how to play the game S, so, now i’ve got the real deal! I love it so much! Koru Day 27 6. Sarah: This morning, you know I thought what happens after Sarah Lucina is a cop? Alot of people just think that I am smart, and witty, and pretty, but I am actually really creative and I can make clothes. When I ‘ve been out here I have started my own clothing line. I love Tony to death but he and I play this game two completely different ways. Tony wants to be splashy, I’m playing idols for them, but he’s not really playing a social game. What I have to do is to pretend that I am on a side that I really am not. (see him looking in the woods with Jeremy telling him about the night before ) (Then we see him tell Michelle that Jeremy is his number one right now...) I could keep infiltrated in the group that I really want out. (Then see him sitting with Kim and Jeremy), which is Jeremy, Michele, Denise, and Kim. I have to continuously pretend that I am on their side, that’s the only way we can blindside them. In my real job I never went undercover like this, the real world is way more dangerous then getting blindsided on S, so right now I’m having all the fun on S land. 8. Jeremy: I think this group is solid, Michelle, Kim, Denise, and Tony, So, I’m thinking we have 5 outta nine, this is good for me, for my game. 9. Kim: Tony has this full act going right now that he is trying to salvage this relationship with Jeremy. He’s doing this whole pyschotic double agent act where I am not supposed to know what Tony is doing but I do know, so I feel like Tony is my biggest enemy out here right now. EoE Tyson conf: Some mentalities can handle it, see Yul, and some can’t see Adam. Parvate: Natalie and I are looking near the rocks and she digs it up and there is a note.... Now we have this clue, what is happening, let’s don’ttell anyone, see them walk Natalie wonders about the lay down and rest...Parv says it’s under the bed..Now we have to strategize how we will get it becaouse everyone is there all daylong. Natalie tells us, how they went to see the sun set, I knew I had a very short period, llking for medallion, found a really small scroll....extortion advantage cut to Tony sitting alone at camp. See Tony run from camp with his bag. 10. TONY: This morning I looked in my bag and I seen something like this, and I didn’t put it in there so I am hoping it’s an advantage from the edge. So I am going to read it right now, I ran as far away from camp before they know I’m gone, so here it is right now. OMG, extortion, this is great! The first word I saw that popped out to me was extortion, and I was like, YES! I’m going to extort somebody! Cause in real life I can’t do that but I know when I am watching the movies, the mobsters it sounds like fun, they do it for money or they gotta break the legs or knee caps if you don’t give me this or that, so I’m excited! This is the extortion advantage, he reads, blocks player from participating in the next IC, no voting, .... 11. Tony: (new confessional, new spot) that’s an extremely powerful advantage, and I can’t wait to use it.... and then I’m reading more and reading more and then I read at the bottom, this advantage is being played against you. This advantage is playing on YOU! the demand is 6 fire tokens. 6 tokens? 12. Tony: ( in original spot where he read the note)I tell you what man, if this is real life, you’re doing some prison time, this is extortion code to see something, it’s a criminal code, extortion is illegal in the states, I don’t know why it’s not illegal in Fiji? This is ludicrous, I got 3 tokens, they want 6. I’m being extorted for 6 tokens. That’s double of what I have. 13. Tony (back to different spot)And, they are saying if the person cannot come up with their extortion payment they don’t get to play in the immunity challenge so they have no shot at winning immunity and at tribal they can’t vote. They deadline is before the immunity challenge, so we get tree mail I have to have the tokens in place, ready to pay up to play. 14. Tony: (different spot in woods) Denise comes with the tree mail, I think not only are they extorting me for fire tokens they are also putting a time limit on it. They are like you need to pay the extortion payment right before the immunity challenge so I’m like the pressure is on! So my plan in my head is to approach my fake alliance and tell them that I am in trouble and they need to help me so I can help them with the vote. (goes to Michelle first) 15. Michele: Tony asked me for fire tokens and I am like oh, crap! Because actually I have zero fire tokens left at this point. I have my 50/50 coin. But, I don’t want people knowing about my advantage so I have to piece together, scramble together some kind of ##### and bull story about me using my advantage for something on EoE.... 16. Tony: And, she comes clean, she says, Tony, I spent my tokens on an advantage, I say wow, that’s great Michelle, how much did it cost you? She said 4 fire tokens. I’m like whoa, the price of milk just went up! I’m like, Wow, what’s going on here, I’m getting extorted for 6 fire tokens, she just paid 4 fire tokens for an advantage. I guess it’s inflation on S island. Inflation ...it’s, I don’t know what S is doing to me this time around. (He asks Michele to go ask J) 17. Michele: He needs the 6 tokens by the immunity challenge! Time is ticking.... See Michele tell Jeremy... 18. Jeremy: Trust is huge out here and Tony trusts me and I want him to know that I need him as much as he needs me, so I’m willing to give one fire token. I would give another one but then I’d have zero and I don’t want to have zero. 19. Tony: Jeremy gave me one fire token so now I have 4 fire tokens so now I need two more because I can’t vote if I can’t come up with these six tokens. So, I’m thinking I have to go to my real alliance members....see him go to Nick. So, I go to Nick and say, Nick, I am in trouble and he says no problem, Tony, I’ll help you! So then I said I need to talk it over with Ben. Ben’s like Tony I got you, I got your back and I have the six on me right now to pay the price for the extortion. I am loaded, I am wealthy. So this is an official payment for that disgusting disadvantage someone sent me. So, I am officially paying for it, playing in the IC and I will have a vote tonight. IC 20. Tony: This is perfect I won 2 fire tokens, now I can pay my debt and if I had not played that IC, Jeremy would have won that challenge so what’s happening today is that we are going to be voting for Jeremy, I’m loving it! 21. Kim: I didn’t want Tony to win today but Tony winning two back to back is not bad, it puts a target on Tony’s back so yeah for Tony. Tony is completely playing Jeremy but I clearly know about it but at this point in the game I don’t have the numbers on the Jeremy side, Jeremy has Michele and that’s it. My only option is to go back to this other group who I don’t really trust anyway. It’s a precarious position. Not my favorite. (Sarah tells them all what to do....2 votes on Michelle, 3 on J. 22. Sophie: I have the idol in my pocket but I know that there has to be other idols floating around. We have enough people to split the vote so Yes, Jeremy will go home but Michele will get a couple of votes just in case Jeremy plays an idol. See Jeremy Kim ad Denise at the water well, Kim suggests Ben 23. Denise: I feel like I’m playing double agent because on the one hand I’m working with Jeremy, Kim, Michele, and Tony to vote out Ben. That’s not really my plan. I’ve tried to save Jeremy in the past but I think it’s time. Kim and I are both in cahoots together to blindside Jeremy tonight. 24. Jeremy: At the start of this game I was like, You know what, I like Ben, he’s my friend. And, now like everything he does annoys me. Like every little thing he does bothers me. The dude, he doesn’t want to work with me, he does’nt want to play with me and Denise and Kim would love to see Ben go, so my intended target right now is Ben. 25. Tony: Everybody’s very calm and cool and quiet and in spite of all the talking and chattering, I am like guys let’s just stop talking... if they want to stop and slow down that’s better for me because I’m not stopping or slowing down because I am always thinking when they are not. I have the immunity necklace so I am safe for tonight. I’ve been patient long enough, and now I have an opportunity to flip flop. It’s time for me to blindside somebody. And, Sophie is getting too close to my partner, Sarah. I’m thinking that my target should be Sophie. Because my real alliance is splitting the votes, that is a huge opportunity for me because you don’t need that many numbers. Jeremy and Michele, they don’t have a choice, once I tell them a name, they are gonna go for it. So, all I need is Nick. But, I’m just watching the sun as it’s starting to set. I want to hit them for maybe minutes before we have to go to tribal. (talks to Nick) Me, Jeremy, Nick, and Michele, cause us 4 are stronger than their 3 and their 2 so, I’m going to be golden if I can pull this off. 26. Jeremy: Tony comes to me late with the plan to blindside Sophie. Come on, we had a plan, like I didn’t want to do anything different. I want Ben gone. And then he said, listen, Kim and Denise aren’t with you, you gotta just trust me on this. And, the first thing I thought was, No, ‘Tony you are wrong, you’re wrong.’ So, I really don’t know if people are coming after me. I don’t know. 27. Tony: Ohhh Man! Jeremy doesn’t believe me. I can’t believe it! Jeremy’s reluctant, I’m trying to save him. I’m begging him to save him! Jeremy, this is your only opportunity to stay in the game! I’m telling you, Kim and Denise jumped ship! Jeremy: TC was crazy, Ben tried to make a move on me. Sophie went to the edge, but there are hard feelings, Ben is pissed, he’s not even talking to me, it’s so crazy. He’s such a child! Like, grow up Ben, come on! The game goes up and down let’s chill out and let’s play! 2. Sarah: This was Tony’s dumb a$$ move, but I told myself, “Sarah, keep your cool and don’t be pissed!” (Then we see Sarah extremely pissed and chewing out Tony!) To have Tony come up with this, I am absolutely infuriated with him! It’s a 2 million dollar game, dude! What are you doing, we were absolutely fine! And, now, do we even have the numbers? We think we do but you don’t know if we do... 3. Tony: Wow, usually when you blindside somebody, you go back to camp, you hash it all out, you go back to it’s okay, it’s all good. Not this time! This time it’s like deep wounds, man. Come on, give me a break, I’m playing the game too! It’s war, stop crying, put your man panties on and go to war! 4. Ben: Tony’s told me about all his advantages all his idols so he’s gaining trust, but I don’t know if I can trust him, he’s blindsided me hugely! (bird poops on Tony), I still want Jeremy out next, a. He’s a challenge threat, and B. He’s a jury threat. He can get all the votes, like there is just no way for me to work with Jeremy. So, I’m not talking to Jeremy right now and I don’t want to talk with Jeremy right now....(Ben tells Tony, “that’s some Karma!”....hmmmm?) 5. Tony: I made a big power move, which was blindsiding Sophie, but the backlash was wild so I think I’m in trouble. My wife told me this time you can’t play wild, you can’t play crazy, you can’t play flashy. And, now I got the itch, and this is the time for another undercover operation. In my first season, Cagayan, I made a spy shack and it worked! And, then in my second season, game changers, I made an underground bunker. It was a failure but it was fun! Right now my spying has evolved and I’m up in the air. It’s called a spy nest. I perch myself there, just like a bird, and I wait to hear conversations that are going on...the only person that knows I am under cover is my partner, Sarah. 6. Sarah: If we were in the real world and Tony and I were partners, one of us would be fired. Tony’s back to the old Tony and it’s non stop, go go go, and he doesn’t let up! He’s got my back and I’ve got his back and we are not going to turn on each other but if he’s not willing to back off a little, he’s going to find himself voted out. 7. Kim: Last night it was a little emotional and super crazy and it’s super clear that Jeremy is going to be going next, but hell no, for me I am not doing that. For me it’s really obvious that Tony and Sarah are a problem right now, but I still have a relationship with Sarah that could still be salvaged, I would so much rather see Tony go. I am done with just sitting around hoping that we are on the right side of the votes. (see her talk to Denise, Ben, Nick, Michele....) This is by far the riskiest move that I have to make but I have to do something. I have to turn this around or go out trying. 8. Michele: Tony is running the show and we’ve been left out of the loop, we’ve been made fools of, and I think alot of us are feeling that way right now. This game is about power and this seems like a perfect opportunity to gain a little bit of control and take out Tony. (Close up of Michele). Hmmmm ~ this makes me think if anyone takes out Tony, it will be Michele?) EoE...Ethan: OMG, I don’t want to do a tremendous effort challenge Rob: out of everybody heere I think i feel I have an edge Danni: wanted to pace myself Rob: didn’twant to set the pace, slow dodwn and let somebody else take the lead Parv: stakes are high, only 6 people will win tokens. Tyson, Yul, Natalie all strong Tyson: more abrutal than I though it would be, when I see how fast these girls are going.... Adam: this does not suit me, never been a good runner, I am in last place already Ethan: It was incredibly diffuicult, tide coming in.... Rob slips on lava rock: I slipped and fell and cracked my elbow, tried to shake it off, knew I was done, I was toast Tyson: Natalie and sophie lapped ever other single person at least twice Sophie: Natlie is a beast Natalie: I knew I had a little more in the tank, why not beat her, that was fun Yul: to my big surprise I end up in 3rd place Parv: ended up tied with Tyson, I still got it danni Wendell: Danni was gaining on me Dannie: I startted to close the gap unfortunately I started out too slow, finished 7th one short Rob: said he wasn’t going to care if he didn’t win, but I do I felt like it was important that i didn’t quit Amber: It was hard to see him still going to get those coconuts well after I was done, shows you he’s not a quitter, he will keep on fighting 9. Nick: the more people are fighting, the more there is a war. the more cross fire and friendly fire, the more I can really crank it up. Now is the time for me to start trying to figure out who I want to sit at the end with, and finding a way to get everybody else out... See Michele, Denise, Nick...I’m done with just making it one step farther, i got my eye on the prize at this point and that’s why I have to make big moves, I have to do something to stand out....In my opinion that will certainly beat me at the end, that’s Jeremy, Tony, Sarah....we have to get rid of them.... 10.Ben: ok. If I don’t find it, if Tony doesn’t find it, we could be in hot water. 11. Denise: There’s a lot of hands out here already, there are a lot of people digging. There could be another HII out here and that complicates everything all over again.Everyone is looking around the dirt and cobwebs, and looking around trees. We reallly want to get Tony out so we need the HII before Tony does but he doesn’t have something hidden again up his sleeve. 12. Tony: I saw him trying to sneak it from me, “Hello! Ben, I’m right next to you, man!” I’m watching you trying to hide the idol... 13. Ben: I found the idol and the first reaction is Oh, I’ve got to turn it around and don’t let anybody else see, and Tony is standing right there saying, come on Ben! 14. Tony: I saw Ben find the idol right in front of me 15. Ben: Alright, I found it and he’s like, “why’d you do that to me, Ben?” I got caught red, gold handed, right? ...so I was trying to hide it from Tony, but I barely trust Tony right now. Kim wants to take out Tony, but Tony has an idol so I need him to be comfortable. He thinks he has me in his pocket, and that’s perfect because I need to figure out what route I am going to take. Whether to go with Kim and start targeting Tony or If I’m good with the guy, right? IC 16. Tony: WHATTT? I won three in a row, back to back to back! It’s amazing cause anything could have happened. I could have sneezed at that moment, a mosquito could have bitten me in the eye, anything could have happened! So, thanks Nick, one fire token for an immunity idol, that’s a bargain, I’ll take it! 17. Kim: The immunity challenge was a son of a B. My plan has been majorly foiled to blindside Tony tonight...I’m so mad that he has won 3 immunities in a row, he has tons of fire tokens, he’s driving me crazy in the game. 18. Nick: Our plan has been back burnered. I tried my best to win the IC but I was falling off. I get one of Tony’s fire tokens, peanut butter and choc chip cookies and Jeremy goes home anyway so no harm done. I think its a win win. 19. Michele: I am distraught, I’ve been close with Jeremy since day one he’s kind of been like my true family out here. But, I don’t know how we get out of this pickle. 20. Tony: I just found this out that Kim is chirping in everybodies ear maybe it’s Tony’s time to go. And, it’s a big deal to me! Cut to Tony asking Nick 21. Tony: I’m talking to Nick and he’s looking at me and he’s fumbling his words. I keep asking him, Nick, what’s going on? And, he’s looking at me like he’s always lost, like, come on, man! Nick is lying to me right at my face!........Now, I am 100% worried about Kim trying to get these lower tier threats together, so if Jeremy goes home, we’re screwed because these ladies are going to stick together and possibly use Nick. Hear Tony and Sarah talking, Tony tells Sarah that Ben told him the girls were talking about him this AM and Nick didn’t even come tell me that. Sarah: See? He ain’t with us. Then we see Nick go tell Kim that Ben told Tony that they were coming after Tony. Then we see Tony & Sarah say if Kim stays, Jeremy goes and next vote Nick stays with the girls and we are done. But Sarah wants to vote out Jeremy to preserve Ben as a number. They decide to talk to Ben. Kim Denise Nick ~Michelle~ vs. Tony, Sarah, Ben Jeremy Michelle in the middle Ben and Tony talk....Ben does not want to change the plan and still wants to vote J. He doesn’t think Nick will do that.... 22. Michele: Everybody is voting Jeremy and I don’t think I can shift the tides and save him. I have to write Jeremy’s name down but that doesn’t mean I can’t throw him a bone to help him out! 23. Jeremy: He can’t even talk to me and I can still see him stewing, like okay, what do I do now?....I don’t feel in control of my game. I have a 50/50 idol in my pocket right now if all else fails I can use that. But, it could be an idol, or it could be nothing, it’s a flip of the coin. I might not bee coming back to camp tonight....this is the part of the war that is going to get ugly. This is going to be more like friendly fire. (See Ben and Kim holding hands. ) TC. To me it looked like Ben was voting Jeremy UNTIL Sarah told him she felt it was her? What surprised me was how Tony told Nick to vote for Kim and he easily did? Had he confirmed with Tony earlier that he would indeed vote for Kim? Her confessional: Ben, Sarah, Tony....we’re in a lock solid final three. Period. No ifs, ands, buts about it. Here’s the problem that we are runnng into is that Ben wants Jeremy gone but the problem is if we got rid of Jeremy, Tony and I are sitting ducks. So, at this point getting rid of Nick would be the smarter option for my game. But, what’s smarter for my game is not necessarily smarter for Ben’s game and at this point he’s pretty stubborn and he’s not going to budge, so I figured I’d have my work cut out for me this afternoon. I have to try and convince Ben to get rid of Nick. If Ben never gets a turn at driving Ben’s not going to go to the end with me. So, if we make Ben believe that this is his decision then everythings good. But, this is just a ploy so we can vote Nick out. (See Sarah lead Ben to Nick, then Ben goes to Tony as asks him, so what if we just blindside Nick?) Sarah confirms a tight alliance with Ben and Tony. Tony confirms Cops R Us to the end. Sarah spelled it all out for us and then we see her manipulate Ben into wanting to vote out Nick over Jeremy, and then Ben goes to pitch it to Tony. Sarah has talent and definitely a social game. This is a case for her to win....fwiw. Also have to comment on how arrogant Nick was before being blindsided. He was in the "power position"....kiss of death. Confessionals Episode 13A 1. Michele: TC was a disaster as usual. I think the votes are all going to Jeremy so I give him the 50/50 advantage and he decided to not play it. But, I guess that this TC ends with a positive outcome because Jeremy is still here. But, on the flip side everybody knows that I was willing to play my advantage for him so everybody knows about my advantage. I’ve been wanting to play a very aggressive game but I sorta feel like I took a butter knife to a gun fight and I don’t really know how I can recover. 2. Jeremy: It feels like Ground hog day every single day...3 TC’s in row where everybody is coming after me. I wish I knew why I was so popular around here. But, I have a connection with michelle and she gave me that 50/50 coin to play if I needed it but, I gave that 50/50 coin back to her, I want nothing to do with that, my game is not coming down to a 50/50 coin flip. This is the penultimate step of the war, from here it’s going to get really, really ugly. Next AM 3. Denise: Last night at TC, I said to Jeff I’m done, but when I say I’m done it’s not that I am done with the game, it’s that I’m done with the way I’ve been dealing with things the way I’ve been dealing and getting back myself as upset as I have been in the process. I’m not a tatoo girl, never had any, but then I was laying down last night and I thought, No, I need two tatoos, I need the one on the left hand that says endure, I can, I’m capable of living out here for another 9 days, but that I also know that it’s okay to let go. Endure and let go and know that both of those are okay. 4. Tony: This thing with Jeremy, he’s a fireman, I’m a policeman, we are always fueding, we have a little rivalry going it’s for fun over here on S, but I know that Jeremy is a number for me, I know he trusts me. Right now my plan is to try and keep Jeremy around. Because if Jeremy goes home the hyenas are going to come out ina full pack and start attacking us. 5. Tony: So Sarah and I have been playing this game for 6 years, we played this game before and I burned her. Now I got to know Sarah and I say lets just stick together and get Cops-R-Us to go all the way to the end, and we are doing good so far. So if there is a thought of keeping Jeremy, Tony and Sarah, 7 people left, keeping him around is a shield for me they’re bigger threat, whereas Nick, he’s walking around frantic, he’s trying to play both sides and he’s not doing a very good job of it because everybody is seeing it. And, Denise she is lock step with me, she’ll vote anyway I want her to vote. This right now in this war is the hardest mission yet. The reason why is that it’s going to be a huge blindside. But, there is a 50/50 immunity that we have to flush and do this correctly. At this point in the game, if this goes screwed up, then our squad and this mission is blown out. (Dramatic music rising). IC ~ Day 31 8. Denise: Nick. The one person that we were hoping would not get immunity so we could vote him got immunity. So, I am wondering what the plan B is going to be? 9. Ben: Nick winning was a bad thing for us. We were trying to target him and we have to come back to camp and rethink how we are going to pull this off. It would be easy to take Denise out but Denise is my friend and a number for me right now. And, I’ve been thinking about whether to push Jeremy to go or to keep him as one of the shields out for me but in the same breathe it breaks up Michele and Jeremy. So, at this point I am trying to create a little bit of distrust between J and Michele. And, also make sure that we know where that 50/50 idol is going. I start planting seeds in Jeremy’s head, and said, hey, can you get that 50/50 coin from Michele and let’s try to vote out Michele. 10. Jeremy: Everyone is saying denise as the easiest one because she was the one that was checked out at TC, but that’s the thing, it’s never an easy vote, especially in Winners at War. So, right away I’m thinking, Nah, this doesn’t sound right. Denise is definitely a smoke screen....whether it’s me or Michele, I don’t trust Ben at all! 11. Michele: Ben just said to me, watch out, he’s going to ask you for your 50/50, then Ben is going to Jeremy and saying, “Ask Michele for her advantage and She’ll give it to you”. So he’s playing both sides. Ben going, that’s great for me, and Jeremy going that is worst for me cause me and Nick are going to be picked off next. So, I have a best case scenario and a worse case scenario and I am just hoping it leans more toward this side than towards Jeremy. 12. Tony: So, Jeremy wants to vote out Ben. Jeremy and Ben have been clashing for a while now. So he wants Ben out of the game for his best interest, but that’s not my best interest. I’m a cop, and at this point I really don’t want to get rid of Jeremy, but at this point in the game Sarah and I think we’re strong with Ben. (Tony tells Nick, him and Ben vote Jeremy, then Denise and Sarah vote Michele and it will be Jeremy.) So, we are splitting votes between Michele and Jeremy. So the guys, me, Nick, and Ben will Jeremy, Denise and Sarah, they are voting Michele. And, then Michele can play her advantage, she has a 50/50, whether it’s safe or not safe, our real votes tonight are going to Jeremy. 13. Sarah: Right now the plan is to vote out Jeremy, but I also don’t trust Nick. He’s a hard one to read and he really wants to build a resume for himself and, I guess tonights going to tell whether he’s with us or against us. 14. Nick: There are 2 plans going on, one to get Jeremy out and one to get Ben out, and I am in a bit of a power position. I have Ben’s fate in my hands and I have Jeremy’s fate in my hands but I am not making my decision based on what is happening tomorrow or the next day. I’m basing my decision based on Day 39. How do I get there, who can I beat, how do I win this 2 million dollars. I am just trying to win this game, period. *Nick said in TC he felt that this season there was more of an emphasis on social relationships....* foreshadowing to a Sarah win? A Michele win? Huge for them. Michele saw the writing on the wall, that she and Nick were on the bottom, out of the loop. Nick saw that he was not on the bottom, that he had options, and he had faith in Tony. Michele tried to tell him, but when her back was against the wall, she pulled it out. "You can't get me!" OTOH, Nick was thrilled that things played out to perfection, he got the advantage to pick one to disadvantage, he chose Ben which enabled Michele to win the challenge. As Michele predicted, Nick was indeed on the bottom, despite Tony finding out that Denise has him in her sights. At first Tony told us again how TC went exactly as planned, in contrast to Michele's thoughts. He told us that in seasons past, they called players like Michele a goat. She needs to go, in the Super Bowl of Survivor. So, Tony sets his sights on Michele, but she does not go, she wins? Possible foreshadowing? Tony's next confessional started like this: There is definitely a consideration to get rid of Ben. Ben won his season with a fire-making challenge. I don’t want to go up against Ben. I played a very hard season and I don’t want to lose to fire. I know Ben has an idol. So, If I was going to make a move, now’s the time to make the move and get rid of Ben. He then continues on about using his spy nest and getting intel that Denise wants Tony out. So, he challenges who will get the first punch first (vs. Denise). So first of all Tony mentions Ben, his fire making prowess, and not wanting to go against him in fire-making, he's worked to hard this season to lose to fire. Hmmmm, more foreshadowing, or doubt. Will Tony end up in fire making challenge with Ben only to lose? Next, he challenges Denise. Will he put Denise in his sights before Ben? Will Tony make the right choices at the end? I have to note that the winner always has doubt cast on them....? Tony has told us time and again that he and Sarah are tight and that he only wants to go to the end with Cops R Us. He told us in this episode that he would only lose to Sarah....is this right? Is this more foreshadowing? More doubt? Now, Sarah. Sarah makes a case for Michele: Michele is the easy vote out, Michele’s at the end and Michele has no allegience to anybody. Michele can’t keep her mouth shut, she’s unpredicatable, that is why Michele needs to go. Her next confessional was about weighing Nick and Denise. At this point I feel it's Tony's game to lose. There is more doubt cast on him as winner in these two episodes. But, Tony could win. He would be very deserving. If Tony were to fall in fire-making, it could be to Ben. I do not see the EoE player winning, and I think it's obvious for all that Natalie will come back into the game, by the virtue of her dominance there. But, in a season full of all winners, I don't care how many friends she has on EoE, I do not think they will vote for her as winner. Especially if Tony is at the end. I do not think, per confessionals, that there is a case for Ben or Denise, at this point. So we are left to 3 possible winners....Tony, Sarah, Michele. In that order. I would not be surprised to see the EoE winner in the finals. So, it will be between Tony, Sarah, and Michele as to which of these players are the other two spots. And, again, my thoughts are Tony>Sarah>Michele. Have PHUN! Confessionals: Episode 13B: 1. Tony: Tribal went exactly as planned. This en entire game I have been on the right side of the votes. This whole entire game. And then you have Michele that has never been on the right side of the vote. She has no idea what is going on inside of the game. In other seasons you would call that a goat, you would want to go to the end with them. Not on a super bowl season of Survivor. You don’t want that around. She’s a hyena in the game and you know what, time for you to go home. 2. Ben: Tribal was intense. It came down to me or Jeremy and we both took our shots like an old western like where we each had our revolvers in our holsters standing on the street and hadn’t pulled them yet. And, tonight the draw went and it feels fantastic that I finally got him out 3. Nick: I think I made the right decision because the vote for me was about making allies moving forward. Michele, she wanted to work with Jeremy, I have no interest in working with Jeremy at all, and she keeps wanting to go in a different direction than I want to go. Now that Jeremy is gone, ideally I would love to get Ben outta here. Ben is hot headed, emotional, he’s like an impulsive player, so I definitely feel like playing with Ben is like playing with fire or a stick of dynamite and I just don’t want it to blow up in my own hands. 4. Michele: Me and Nick are on the bottom and Nick is too naiive to see it. But I have to try and find another avenue for myself because nobody, NOBODY wants to take me any further than I am right now. But, I know that I do some of my best work when my back is against the wall. And, my back is against the wall and they haven’t seen the sassy girl from Jersey, so it’s time for me to kick it in to high gear. They better buckle in cause I’m about to go out fighting. (seen at night) 5. Michele: I have been mad more times in this game than I have in the past year for me. But, last night might have been the peak for me. I don’t trust anybody, nobody trusts me and it’s very frustrating because right now everybody is playing scared. And, I am the only one out here that is wiling to throw things at the wall because I have nothing to lose. So, I just might throw a hail mary in that direction and see if any body bites on it. And, you have Tony over here who has controlled most of the votes, he’s a huge threat. I think when you look at who you should target, me or Tony, I would think go with the bigger threat. 6. Sarah: Michele is the easy vote out, Michele’s at the end and Michele has no allegience to anybody. Michele can’t keep her mouth shut, she’s unpredicatable, that is why Michele needs to go. Jeremy: EoE is tough, mind wonders.. Danny Tyson Wendell Natalie 7. Nick: I am a little discouraged because i have 6 fire tokens, I have been saving these puppies the whole game. But, I have all of the supply and none of the demand. But, today is the day, I look in my bag and I actually see something in there. reads it. So, my immediate reaction to this is that I need someone’s help. I only have 6 fire tokens, I thought I was rich but I guess I have landed on Boardwalk here, I can’t even afford this so, I gotta pull in somebody that has enough tokens that can help me out. Tony’s been my main man, but he doesn’t have any tokens. Michele is the other person that I have been working with out here and she does have enough fire tokens and, I think if I reach out to michele with this it will keep me in her good graces even though I voted out Jeremy. I’m her last hope, and I ‘m her only prayer staying in this game and I think I can really work with her, I have in the past and I think I can with this. 8. Michele: Nick betrayed me on the Jeremy vote so I wouldn’t be here on the bottom struggling to keep my fire alit if Nick didn’t turn on me but I have no where to go. So, at this point if I were voted out tomorrow, the fire tokens are nothing but souveniers in my pocket. All I can do is to try and work with what I have and this is all I have right now. 9. Nick: I definitely have a lot to consider because this isn’t about one disadvantage at an immunity challenge, it can definitely go deeper than that. This decision for me is about the end game and about winning this game. We just have to try and use it in a way that causes the most chaos possible. More money more oproblems, you know what I mean? (at the end of this confessional see Tony). IC 10. Nick: I decided to give the disadvantage to Ben because if he loses the IC it might be the final straw. It could start some chaos, maybe getting people to want Ben outta here so Michele can stay and then Ben can finally go. 11. Michele: I was on a funeral march to my own funeral these last few days so today I was ready to fight blood, sweat and tears and to the death for that win and that’s what I did, so Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah! You can’t get me, I won immunity! Laughs. 12. Denise: So, going into the immunity challenge today we had this hope that Michele was going to be a locked in vote. Unfortunately, Michele pulled it out when she needed to and Michele won immunity and so now it’s onto Plan B. So my role coming back into camp was to take on the role of dejected survivor player a little bit, the one that kind of sets of the proposal of, ‘Hey, I know I’m on the block, but if I am going to go to the edge, I would love to go with a full belly and in order to do that I will give up my tokens so that you guys will stay strong. So, we got an extra bag of rice, but I am trying to roll with the idea, especially for michele and for Nick that I’m the plan B, we’re playing my hand with the hopes that Ben and Sarah, and Tony and I are all still in lock step and vote out Nick, barring any other surprises. 13. Ben: Prior to Winning, Michele, she was a target but my game plan now is to get the votes swung on Nick. He’s just gotta go, hw’s good at puzzling, and he’s creating more chaos around camp. We’re telling Nick and Michele that it’s Denise, Denise played a poor me, why me, and bought rice, and I think, hopefully they buy it! I don’t think I will play the idol tonight, we are pretty locked solid with Tony and Sarah so I feel pretty safe in our alliance tonight. 14. Nick: I feel like I’m a genius today, my plan worked, Ben lost, Michele won! I mean everything worked out perfectly. Michele is in the game because of me buying that advantage. I’ve come into maybe the best position I have been in maybe the entire game! (arrogance before the blindside!) Now, I would love to see Ben go home tonight....but, can I get Tony on board? 15. Tony: There is definitely a consideration to get rid of Ben. Ben won his season with a fire-making challenge. I don’t want to go up against Ben. I played a very hard season and I don’t want to lose to fire. I know Ben has an idol. So, If I was going to make a move, now’s the time to make the move and get rid of Ben. But, in the mean time I want open up the spy nest again. I mean I built it and it’s up there collecting dust...I want to open it up for business. You know, I have to put it back to use, cause you know what, intel in this game is key, because this is war! The more intel you have the more you prepare yourself for a counter attack. So, I was open for business, and my spy nest? It came through for me big time cause I could hear a lot of stuff. Denise was like, guys, what are you thinking about the final four because I was thinking it could be Tony. Once I heard that I knew that Denise has to go becasue she does not want me in the finals. If you don’t want me in the finals then I don’t want you in the final so you gotta go! Let’s see who gets the first punch first. I was tossing the idea of blindsiding Ben, but now, no more. Right now the pecking order has changed and it went straight to Denise. 16. Michele: Tony and Nick both seemed pretty receptive to get out Ben, but Denise is here offering herself up on a silver platter saying, ‘Alright, take me!’ I don’t necessarily want the next vote to be Denise, but if we could shake things up? Getting people on board with a logical plan in this season is not as simple as it sounds. So, again, we are at square one, it’s back on Denise. 17. Sarah: At this point Nick is an option and Denise is an option. Denise is a good option because she slayed the queen, she found an idol, Denise has won 2 immunities at this point, she’s gotten tons of fire tokens from the edge, she hasn’t made anybody mad so she could be tough to beat in the end. Then, you’ve got Nick, he’s won immunity, he has come from the bottom all season and had to play off the bottom, I mean everybody loves the underdog story and that is Nick. And, so you can’t not like the guy because he’s playing his butt off and he’s fighting everyday he’s out here.
