PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Article on Love Cruise" |
Here is a link and the text to a recent article from Realitynewsonline....http://www.realitynewsonline.com/article1252.html After the release of the film Die Hard, Hollywood dutifully attempted to repeat their success with several movies that were described as “Die Hard on a .” Similarly, after the monumental success of the Survivor series, a new crop of reality TV wannabes is flooding the airwaves. One of the latest is Love Cruise, premiering September 11 and featuring sixteen singles looking for love and, of course, money on the high seas. Eight men (left) and eight women (top) will spend 10 days onboard a tall ship cruising through the Caribbean. They’ll try to find a love connection while competing in physical challenges and relationship games that supposedly test their compatibility. The games may not set the contestants on a course for true love, but they will undoubtedly cause tensions to rise.
At the end of each episode, the men will vote off a female contestant and the women will follow suit by voting off a male player. When only two couples remain, they will face a jury of their former shipmates (which seems to be the most popular reality show method of handing out the cash these days). The winning couple receives $100,000 and a cruise around the world.
Judging by promo spots being shown on Fox, things are going to get a bit heated under the Caribbean sun. Expect lots of tears, tantrums and verbal sparring – this is one cruise ship where shuffleboard is not going to be the main attraction.
Since members of the opposite sex vote contestants out, strategy will be a tricky business. The basis for voting players out of the game will depend on many different factors. Is a player getting close to too many members of the other side? Not enough? Contestants will be walking a fine line on this love boat.
So just how much sex and sizzle will take place? It’s hard to say. Only time will tell whether this batch of reality show contestants have secret criminal records and violent tendencies, like some of the cast members of Big Brother 2.
Of course, the most compelling question is this (considering how the union between Rick Rockwell and Darva Conger worked out): Once the winning couple embarks on their ‘round-the-world cruise, how long will it be before they have separate cabins?

Guess who?

>Could 10 be approximately the number >of episodes? Do you >know how many weeks the >show will run? Show is 7 ep's, but they squeeze the 7 eps into something like 29 days (some weeks with 2 ep's) >Webby, I also love the design >and colors in this forum. > >I even like the blue checks >around the edges! Thanks... the checks here are implemented in a new layout that I'll be trying to apply to the other forums, but it might take a few weeks.
