sleeeve 3456 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Car Show Celebrity" 08-17-01, 07:38 PM (EST) "Love Cruise "Deception" Preview (Many Pics)" Okay... I vidcapped another of the million previews that Fox is running for this show... I won't be able to do all of them, but I might get one or two more before the show premeirs. As before, I didn't include any vidcaps of things already shown in the other previews. (Which gives you an idea about just how LOOONG this preview was!!!) Here it is: Preview Transcript Announcer: This September, eight single men, and eight single women set sail on a Caribbean Cruise, looking for true love and a chance to win a huge cash prize. Andrea: Love Cruise is a game to see if you can find your ideal mate. Anthony: The object of the game is to be the last couple standing. Announcer: But in their search for romance... Lisa: I just kissed two guys Announcer: ...each person will have to decide... Laura: I didn't think all of these, like, emotions were gonna come into play. Announcer: ...is their attraction real... Tony: I am starting to like her. Announcer: ...or is it deception? Anthony: I need this money more than anybody. Female Voice: Something's gonna happen, I just don't know what. Anthony: You've hurt people... maliciously. Darin: Back off. Melissa: You've been playing me like the fool that I am. Toni: You wanna make me??? "Spoiler Analysis" First of all, I think that Fox is being careful not to include too many spoilers in the previews... in other words, all of these scenes are, most likely, from Ep1 (or Ep2 at the latest)... Thus... Vidcap #1 obviously shows some sort of challenge. The guys have tape over their mouths, and they have metal trays strapped to their stomachs... I can't figure out the significance of this (unless it's some sort of vomit challenge... maybe the trays are to catch the vomit, and the tape is to discourage it... no wait... that's not too likely... doesn't seem to fit with the "sexy" image that Fox is going for...) My only other comment is that Toni and Anthony continue to dominate the previews... In Boot Camp (produced for the same network), the previews were dominated by recruit Whitlow (who eventually won the whole thing)... but I only began to analyze the previews for that show AFTER the show began to air, so I don't know about the series preview (as opposed to the episode previews)... The pattern from Boot Camp was: Whitlow appears in every preview, and the next people voted off are also featured in the preview. Since it's the same network, there is some logic in thinking that a similar pattern will occur (although it's a completely different production team)... Therefore, it's possible that Toni and Anthony (shown in argumentative roles) are actually voted out FIRST!!! (but featured prominently in the previews so that America will know who they are when they're voted out)... this is important, because every other eventual evictee will have the opportunity to be featured on the previous episode before being dumped from the ship. Therefore, it's my preliminary guess that Anthony and Toni are the first two castaways banished from the island (or to the island... or some such copycat crap)... However, if they happen to survive, and continue to be featured prominently in the previews each episode, I will upgrade their status from "First Off" to "Eventual Winners"... Also, the muddy game of chicken is probably a challenge also, since I doubt the girls would want to get all muddy, just for the fun of it. And the mud/water pit looks manufactured. And whats with the money on ?Anthonys? chest? It kinda looks like it is superimposed. Toni and Anthony were also featured in the Entertainment Weekly article (along with Michael) Speaking of Michael, where is he in all these previews? Is he the Tina of the Love Cruise? Well, thats all I can come up with right now, and since booted castmates can return from loser island, it is gonna be hard to figure this show out. It is obvious from the commercials that they are paired in the first episode as they are pictured the first day in their cabin. But, in the tux photo, Bob is the only one missing. And, in videocap #10, it looks like Toni is consoling Gina who probabably just got booted. Notice, in videocap #21, it looks like a tearful Toni is consoling Laura. Laura most likely gets booted (don't know when yet) but she is missing from Anthony's side in the videocap #16 where it looks like Tomiko is choosing Ralph when they are all standing on deck. I also noticed the superimposed money on Anthony's chest when he is saying that he deserves to win the money. Don't know if this means he is the winner or it is a red herring! nee The Fox web site mentions that the challenges start in the 2nd episode and they include dance contest and mud wrestling. We've seen lots of couples dancing and some of the mud wrestling in the commercials. The dancing couples that I've been able to pick out are Toni & Greg, Laura & Anthony, Melissa & Darren, Tomeko & Adrian, Andrea & Ralph, and Melissa & Tony. The only ones not shown dancing are Bob, Shakes, Gina and Jeanette. If Bob & Gina are gone before the dance contest, that means that Shakes & Jeanette are a couple. I've tried to figure out who is in the mud wrestling but I've only been able to pick out Toni who seems to be with Adrian (maybe Greg is gone when this happens?).Of course, I forgot that couples can change partners so seeing someone with a different person might not mean anything. "RE: Spoiler Analysis" Excellent analysis sweetpea, but I have a question... is it Toni consoling Gina or Gina consuling Toni? In vidcap #10, who is that behind them to the right? Is that Adrian? Could it be htat Laura and Adrian are booted? ...it looks to me as though Adrian is sitting on a boat tied to a dock and that Laura is about to join him. Is the boat bound for Loser's island??? Might Laura not return later and thereby explain her reappearance? "RE: Spoiler Analysis" If it's any help, shot #16 looks like it's from the same place. After reexamining the images, I'm not sure who's on a boat, and who's maybe on land. It looks like in #10 Gina and Laura are on the deck of the boat (notice the sail thing above their head). ..but there is also a awning of some type in above and behind Adrian in the same image. Can't tell if it's a sail-type or some kind of tent awning. And Adrian is so far in the background -- along with the other person (maybe?) in the distant background to the left of Gina -- that it doesn't seem that everything in this view is of the boat itself.
