I think that these shows should not have the contestants that were voted off come back on and vote again. I think they are jeaolous and they make the real winners loose. I am a women and on both shows I wanted males to win because I felt that they played the game well and they well deserved it. If they are going to play the game well why should they be penalized for that? Wolf should of won Boot Camp and that everyone can tell you, if I was him I would not be taking this very well. I will never watch any of these shows again. I would rather watch a game show, because that is how they are playing these new shows not, with the voting at the end. I think the last won standing should win without any votes. THIS GOES TO SHOW YOU THAT YOU IF YOU DO A GOOD JOB AND GO FOR YOU WANT IN LIFE YOU DON'T GET IT BECAUSE OF THOSE LITTLE PEOPLE IN THE BACK OF YOU DICTATING WHETHER YOU ARE DESERVING OF IT OR NOT, WHICH I THINK IS CRAZY BECAUSE THEY ARE OFF THE SHOW AND THEY ARE NOT DESERVING TO COME BACK ON AND SAY WHO IS DESERVING OF THE MONEY. WOLF SHOULD OF WON THE SAME AS COLBY AND BY ALL MEANS BY THE WAY THEY PLAYED THE GAME, THEY PLAYED WONDERFUL. (I AM A WOMEN AND FOLLOWED BOTH OF THESE SHOWS AND BY ALL MEANS THEY SHOULD OF TAKEN HOME THE PRIZE MONEY).

Wolf really deserved to win.The game was supposed to be about endurance, physical and mental strentgh. Not a stupid popularity vote. I think the voters should at least have been able to witness the gauntlet and see how hard Wolf worked while Shitlow gave up early in most events. They voted without knowing much, espcially Pupo and Thomson.

>Wolf really deserved to win. Why? Because he's male, and physically stronger?>The game was supposed to be >about endurance, physical and mental >strentgh. What gave you that idea? Not a stupid popularity >vote. > that's exactly what this show was based on, the voting controlled everything. > Wolf's big mistake was his arrogance, whining, and backstabbing. Although he was not solely responsible for the lost equipment, he did play a part in it. You can have all the physical strength in the world, but it won't win you a game that is decided by your fellow contestants.

> >How was Wolf arrogant? Can someone >explain that one to me? >how about all the times he said he was the "best", the way he rolled his eyes every time something didn't go his way, his total attitude of superiority. > >All other recruits whined, not Wolf. oh, I recall plenty of whining. Whenever he thought he was going to receive votes he ran pleading and crying to everyone. >He remained motivated until the >last minute.
true. I don't doubt his hard work, and desire to win. There's nothing wrong with that. However, in this game, the ability to win votes, was more important. It was how he was perceived by the other recruits that mattered in the end. He underestimated the importance of that part of the game. > >How can you accuse someone of >backstabbing in a game that >is all about backstabbing? ALL >RECRUITS BACKSTABBED INCLUDING SHITLOW. now who's whining? your name calling, and degrading remarks towards the women on this show have been disgusting. Your opinions would carry more weight with me if you resembled a civilized human being not that I expect someone like you to care about how others feel, that too was Wolf's problem

LAST EDITED ON 05-24-01 AT 01:24 AM (EST) Wolf isn't a guy that I'd want to spend my off duty time with in a bar, but he was by far the best recruit. However......this was a GAME and it was a matter of how each of them played it AND played the others around them. Wolf managed to irritate just about everyone to the point of wanting to strangle him. The D-ring incident didn't help Wolf, BUT had Whitlow's little incident with the mint from the hotel made the others do extra duty, instead of just her, Wolf might have pulled it out to win. She was just as deceptive with her damned souvenir mint as Wolf was with the D-ring. Once again, Just as in Survivor II, it was the one who APPEARED to be the nicest person that ultimately won. "Art" once again imitated life: It's not how you play the game, but the asses that you kiss that determines where you end up in life.

>I think that these shows should not have the contestants that >were voted off come back on and vote again. I think they are jeaolous and they make the real winners loose. I disagree with you here. The fact that these guys come back and vote is part of the game dynamic. Something from the past can come back to haunt you (see: several jurors on Survivor, the carabiner incident in Boot Camp). As long as they participants knew from the start (which I am suspicious that they didn't in Boot Camp), it's fine with me. >I am a women and on both shows I wanted males to win because I >felt that they played the game well and they well deserved >it. If they are going to play the game well why should they be >penalized for that? I totally agree with you on Boot Camp. Colby did make a mistake in Survivor and so lost. But Wolf did nothing wrong. That was part of the problem with Boot Camp... this game didn't play very well in the military environment. >Wolf should of won Boot Camp and that everyone can tell >you, if I was him I would not be taking this very well. I >will never watch any of these shows again. I >would rather watch a game show, because that is how >they are playing these new shows not, with the voting >at the end. I think the last won standing >should win without any votes. I don't think Wolf WAS taking it very well, and I don't blame him either. But the reason I'm mad is because of the reasons they gave for voting against him, reasons that were not his fault. >THIS GOES TO SHOW YOU THAT YOU IF YOU DO A GOOD JOB AND GO FOR >YOU WANT IN LIFE YOU DON'T GET IT BECAUSE OF THOSE LITTLE >PEOPLE IN THE BACK OF YOU DICTATING WHETHER YOU ARE DESERVING >OF IT OR NOT, WHICH I THINK IS CRAZY BECAUSE THEY ARE OFF THE >SHOW AND THEY ARE NOT DESERVING TO COME BACK ON AND SAY WHO >IS DESERVING OF THE MONEY. Wolf did kick ass in the physical half of the gauntlet, but he lost out on votes. Everyone knew from the start that there were two aspects to winning the game. Wolf didn't bother to hide one iota of his arrogance, and it cost him half a million. BluSavanaGod bless the Army! Stop eye-balling me Recruit Lemon!

>I think that these shows should >not have the contestants that >were voted off come back >on and vote again. >I think they are jeaolous >and they make the real >winners loose. In this case, it was not the contestants who were voted off that voted at the end, it was the people that were pulled off by someone who was voted off. So they don't hold too much resentment towards the people left in the game. >WOLF SHOULD OF WON THE SAME >AS COLBY AND BY ALL >MEANS BY THE WAY THEY >PLAYED THE GAME, THEY PLAYED >WONDERFUL. But the voting is actually PART of the game. It isn't enough to just be physically strong. You have to be likeable. You have to be thinking about that final vote at the end. Wolf was counting on people voting for him because they lived in the same city, not because he deserved to win. He obviously made a big mistake by not acknowledging that he played a part in losing that equipment, and he paid for it at the end. I'm glad Whitlow won. It shows you that it takes more than physical strength to succeed in this game. If it was just about how fit you are, it would be a very boring show to watch.
