Irisheyes 276 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Network TV Show Guest Star" 04-25-01, 04:45 PM (EST) "OMG, Boot Camp is awful!" I know I am in the minority here, but I find the whole concept of that show to be ludicrious. What is the need for a bunch of drill instructors to yell and humilate people who just want to be on TV? And why do these people take it? I would be in their faces if anyone talked to me like that. I would be swearing like a sailor on leave who can't find a decent whore. That's my commentary. You would lose your voice within an hour taking that strategy. If you saw the show last night, Morretty tried to argue back and then there were 2 of the DI's yelling and spitting in her face...you don't wanna go there. I'm with you though. I'd like to be on Survivor, but you couldn't pay me enough to be on this show. After seeing this show, I can't imagine who WOULD want to be on it. The show is called BOOT CAMP. that is what DI's do in BOOT CAMP, they yell at people to condition them to obey instantly. This pays off in the form of saving your ass in combat. 2. The yell because they get PAID for it. 3. The people take it because, unlike REAL Boot Camp,where they'd go to jail if they'd didn't take it, they are after half a million bucks.
