"Billy and his Sean Penn moment"
We've been seeing promos for Billy whining that they want to turn the cameras off since the show began, and we finally got to witness his mini-hissie fit. Maybe he wanted to confide in Kaya that it's his life long dream to be Tina Turner, or that he's got a strange burning sensation when he goes to the bathroom. Who cares!! Even the idiots on the Real World that are taped for five months don't whine about the cameras. Oh, and I really thought that Billy was taking Andy's noble "screw the looks, let's party" stance on dates, but when he said that he thought Vanessa was the best looking girl there, it really made be wonder if he shaved off any kind of taste that he had along with his hair.
I was listening to the radio this morning, and one of the hosts actually said that VALERIE was his favorite girl on the show, because she's really committed to her relationship with Kaya. That poor girl looks like she's going to be the biggest fool when the show is over. Was it just me, or was Mark "Take a walk on the wild side" Wahlberg trying really hard to cover for himself when his mouth dropped open when Valerie chose to go out with Evan? I think he said something stupid like, "Wow, Evan hasn't been on a date at all, has he?" but it sounded like, "Valerie, I can't believe you want to go out with a colored black negro! I mean, I have a few living in the servants quarters on my plantation, but I never thought you would go on a date with one!"
I think the producers have found a way to make Mandy less annoying: don't have any interviews with her, and when she starts talking, cut away to a shot of Billy nuzzling with that moose looking thing called Vanessa (by the way, I'm soooooo glad that she brought two or three extra pairs of hideous sunglasses so we don't get tired of those shop class yellow ones). And I love Billy's reasoning--it's okay to "get some" if Mandy does too. That way, I guess, if they stay together they can both be equally paranoid that the other is going to leave them for the first loser that comes along.
Was Andy really surprised that none of the girls liked him best? He makes me uncomfortable when he's talking into the camera--I probably would have run screaming from him if he got within two feet from me.
I'm glad Megan got sent home, and it was just a bonus to see her cry about it. Stupid b*tch.

Sorry about the rampage, I just couldn't help myself.

J

"Life has no other discipline to impose, if we would but realize it, than to accept life unquestioningly. Everything we shut our eyes to, everything we run away from, everything we deny, denigrate or despise, serves to defeat us in the end. What seems nasty, painful, evil, can become a source of beauty, joy and strength, if faced with an open mind. Every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to recognize it as such."
