She thinks the girls haven't done anything THAT bad? Well, maybe the other ones haven't, honey, but you don't call licking mango off a guy's tit and having him do belly shots off of you that bad? I don't feel sorry for her one bit. All her boo-hooing at the end over Billy - suck it up, baby. Learn how to take as good as you give. Speaking of Billy, at the bonfire I thought he looked like he was holding in a major rage explosion. He looks like he's about ready to kill somebody! He seemed to be resisting up to that point, but he exploded when he saw that and I definitely can not blame him. "RE: Mandy & Billy - Jackasses in Love" I'm a little worried about the chip you're carrying on your shoulder, and the intense anger brewing inside you. Something must ahve happened in your recent past to trigger such awesome wrath. I teased you once about writing "county", in good fun. And, opened myself to your scrutiny as well, but now you're communicating with words like "stupidest". I had renewed respect for your opinion when you used the word "cavaet", but I find you intentionally flinging yourself into the mud once again. Why? I'll stop teasing you now. And focus on the issues being addressed. --------------------- You folks all make good points about Mandy's behavior being over the top. But, that doesn't give Billy permission to lower his standards by following in her footsteps. His need to act out, and/or "hook up" with any of the women as revenge is adolescent behavior at best. He had the opportunity to demonstrate his ability to seperate social "fun", from social "indescretion". Mandy crossed that line, but Billy redesigned the line to fit his frustrations and jealousy, which are starting to boil over into "rage". And how 'bout da' boyez at da' bar!? Their partners witnessed them high fiving each other as they ceremoniously congratulated Billy on his need to run to a woman's cabana when he felt betrayed. They went so far as to say "that's exactly what they'd do!". These guys actually demonstrated to their partners that given the same situations, they would be in the perverbial cabana without a moments hesitation. That has to give their partners pause for reflection... Mandy's "pain" stems from the fact that she stated(in the first show) that she would like it if more women would hit on Billy, so she could feel just a twinge of jealousy. She actually wished for the emotional upheaval, but she's obviously having trouble coming to terms with the reality of her wishes. I feel bad for her. She got what she wanted, but it was more than she ever expected. Jealousy is tricky that way. It can quickly spiral out of control with a mind of it's own, if left unchecked. How cocky they all seemed when they first arrived on the island and were teasing each other. They had no idea the psychological depths the show's producers would go to when manipulating the couple's emotions and fidelity. There has to be a bigger brain behind this shows conception. I know, I know, I can always turn the channel, but for some odd reason my hand freezes up whenever I reach for the remote - aackk!!!! I can't turn it! So I feel I must be overcompensating for being of such weak caliber that I continue to watch this drivel. As far as "stupidest" goes, well, that's what happens when you lower your I.Q. level to watch these shows - I must confess it infects like a virus! "RE: Mandy & Billy - Jackasses in Love" Has no one but me, who watches this show, realized that Fox makes everyone look bad...one week it's the girls who look bad, the next week it's the guy's....I mean, look at the bonfire situation...sure Mandy acted like an idiot on her date with Johhny...and Billy acted like a high school boy....but did you notice that one week all the focus was on Mandy..and then, Billy gets over it, or at least seems to calm down a bit, and then the next "episode" they show Mandy a bunch of video making Billy look like a jerk, and now Mandy is all upset. While some may condemn her words and actions as being immature or hypocritical, she is a young woman who is still in the learning stages of her life experiences. This is precisely why people who are twenty-two generally should not get married. However, I think in the long run she and Billy will get married (hopefully when they are older) and stay together. It is apparent that, despite the problems in their relationship and the bouts of immature behavior (from both parties),that they have what many others are lacking in life: PASSION. I say to both of them---hang on to what you have! You are both beautiful, strong-willed and introspective. Billy's not exactly the most mature guy in the world, but he seems to have his ##### together, it just seems like he's at a later stage in the game than Mandy, who really needs to get some partying out of her system.
