"TI Episode 2 summary is up" |
There were so many exciting things happening in last night's show. This summary reads more like a transcript since it contains direct quotes and gives a blow by blow description of what happened.Episode 2 summary: http://www.themestream.com/gspd_browse/browse/view_article.gsp?c_id=297336 All episodes: http://www.reality411.com/tempt.html What did everyone think about the blind dates? I thought that the women were too emotional about their boyfriends to really enjoy their dates, except Mandy who is a free spirit anyway. I also felt that the guys had no problem forgetting about their girlfriends and enjoying their dates. I was totally shocked that Lola got kicked off the island, but she must've been obnoxious and arrogant to the guys. I also thought she was a bad sport when she was saying that Andy can't handle a woman who is more successful than him. Obviously she wasn't paying attention to the fact that his girlfriend is an attorney! Kristi

LAST EDITED ON 01-18-01 AT 01:22 PM (EST)I totally agree the women were really not into their dates. And the guys were fully taking it all in...(except maybe Billy cause I think he's just a nice guy regardless). But its just a good example of how differently women react to situations versus a man's "go with the flow" attitude. Is there a lesson to be learned here? As far as Lola being banished...actually I think its one of the real "gut" highlights of the show so far. It showed me the men may be more "real" than we thought...that it might just take more than a Playboy model body and face to tempt and attract a man in the long haul. Oh one other thing...I agree Lola was a little catty with her comment. I think most women who are as beautiful and spoiled as she is would need some kind of excuse. BUT..keep in mind that Shannon also made the comment(while on her blind date)that the only problem she had with Andy is that his job was a low paying job. Not defending Lola...but maybe there was something to it. Peace.
