PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

LAST EDITED ON 12-07-07 AT 10:59 AM (EST)Don't read if you don't want to know: 8th & 7th place: Sandy (Season 3) & Stephen (Season 1) 6th & 5th place: Josie (Season 2) & Betty (Season 2) 4th & 3rd place: Marcel (Season 2) & CJ (Season 3) 2nd place: Tre (Season 3) 1st place: Tiffani (Season 1) 2 Chefs were eliminated after each course of a 3 course meal. Tre and Tiffani were at a dead heat after 3 courses. They were unexpectedly sent back to the kitchen to prepare a 4th course in 30 minutes. Tiffani won because of her quick thinking. She immediately ran back to the kitchen and yelled out that she wanted Stephen, Sandy, and Josie to help her. She won with Stephen's leftover osso bucco repurposed over a new bread as her dish. Tre didn't think as fast and had to do a dessert with Betty's leftover raspberries and white chocolate and made crepes. They made a big deal about Tiffani being the first woman winner, but she won with her scheming ability and deviousness, not by superior cooking skills. I still like Tre, and wish he would have won. He was too laid back and not cutthroat enough.

I enjoyed this Special a lot. CJ did not win, but he redeemed himself by winning the quickfire challenge after having received the most criticism for the food he prepared during his previous appearance on Top Chef.

When I saw the show in the first round they didn't really like Tiffani's but they liked Tre's so I automatically thought that would be the tiebreaker - oh well, Tre will win something I'm sure - I really like him, but he was a little too laid back when they went back into the kitchen.
