6. NOVEMBER 15, 2003 SERVER MOVE! 11-15-03 11:43 PM Please note that on Saturday, November 15 we moved our message boards to a new server. While the movement of all the message board data has been completed, it will be several days before the community.realitytvworld.com host name properly resolves to the new server. In the meantime any attempts to access the message boards via the community.realitytvworld.com will redirect users to the new temporary community2.realitytvworld.com host name. Once the community.realitytvworld.com host name resolution has been updated, all previous community.realitytvworld.com URL's will point to the same files on the new server. [ TOP ]

 

7. Server Move Completed 12-08-01 05:30 PM Our community.realitytvworld.com has been transported to it's new hosting data center. The server was physically moved between 12:15AM and 3:45AM Saturday morning and as a result the message boards where unavailable during this time. Thank you for your patience. 8. Upcoming Server Downtime 12-07-01 10:28 PM Our message board server, community.realitytvworld.com will be down for several hours late Friday evening/early Saturday AM EST. 9. Intermittent networking issues 11-01-01 12:56 PM We've been notified by our hosting vendor that they are having some internal networking issues. The result of this is that you may be experiencing some intermittent access difficulties when trying to access the RealityTVWorld.com message boards. This problem IS NOT related to traffic levels on RealityTVWorld.com, it is a general networking problem that they are experiencing. They are working on the problem and hope to have it addressed as soon as possible. NO OTHER RealityTVWorld.com servers, including the one that hosts the SB Spoiling Safari fantasy game, are affected by this outage. We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may have occurred. 10. Slow page load times resolved, resolution non-server related 10-23-01 08:44 PM For the past day or so, some of you might have been noticing some intermittent issues with slow page load time. Frankly, this problem confused us for a while because from looking at our metrics, it was QUITE OBVIOUS that neither an overloaded server CPU or overloaded bandwidth was the problem. After further analysis, we've just determined that some problems with one of our advertising services was the apparent cause of the slow page loads. As result, we've completely removed this advertising service from our advertising engine and the message boards should once again be performing at the high level that you've come to expect from SurvivorBlows & RealityTVWorld.com Our apologies for any inconvenience, and once again we'd just like to make it clear that this issue is not at all related to server performance issues. We will not be restoring the problem advertising service until we are completely satisfied that they have resolved their issues. Thank you. [ TOP ]
