Calling all summary writers for another season of Survivor.

Survivor 24: One World

Anyone can write a summary.
If you've always wanted to, now is the time!

Summaries should be posted in the Bashers forum within three days (or so) of the episode's airdate, and the sooner, the better. However, things happen and a post before the next show airs would be just fine.

Sign up below and let me know when you would like to write;
a specific date or certain part of the season.
Just remember to have fun. Thanks everyone!

RollDdice has a wonderful weekly thread, Be The Survivor, that becomes a summary by the start of the next show. Many writers, much snark, fun read. If that is what you are looking for then keep an eye out for the sign up thread. I myself can’t keep up with the writing. But I can put out one summary.

So we are offering two ways to deliver your snark. Try one or both. I would ask that you put a link to the current “Be The Survivor” thread in your summary. Thanks and go forth and snark.

I’m not sure about the recap or college basketball playoffs.
The basketball Championships starts on March 15 and runs through April 2.
There is usually 14 shows plus a recap. I have broken the finale into two parts. 2-hour finale plus reunion. Take one or both or do a tag-team.

Whatever you do, just have fun and enjoy writing. We all enjoy reading them. Thanks for signing up. kircon

I've done a summary each season since Exile island but it's a lot of work for the number of people that read them. I'll have to wait before giving my name. Maybe something in this season will inspire me.

I'll volunteer for the second episode (2/22)

I'd rather do one early in the season because if they decide to bring back a former player/loser from a previous season, I'll stop watching.

It's been awhile for me...should be fun.

Yes...I have reviewed and saw the interviews of the cast of 18. But how do we know early on into the season they won't return anyone as a twist?
In Guatemala I had no idea Stephanie and Bobby Jon were returning until I saw it on the premier.
I'm hoping you are right...so at least I'll be watching the full season.

Yeah, Bobby Jon and Stephenie were dug out by spoilers a month in advance, and CBS promo'ed that there would be returnees for Guatemala but not who.

This time around, there's been bupkes in terms of scuttlebutt about any returnees and we've already figured out that certain contestants have lasted until the third or fourth episodes through vidcap analysis, but there's still nothing whatsoever about returnees. I think it's safe for you to start watching this season through to the finale.


ETA: For what it's worth, there are no boot lists or sourced spoilers revealing who might be making it past the merge - through vidcap analysis, we've speculated on the identity of one (1) contestant who may be there after the merge. Other than that, it's been a blissfully nice lead-in to this season with renewed interest in analyzing the numerous promos with old-fashioned pure spoiling through vidcaps.

OK...thanks for the update. I have never ventured into the Spoilers Board nor will I ever.
For the most part I have found an overwhelming number of episodes/seasons to be predictable despite any spoiling. I know most like to be curious, but I enjoy seeing/hearing things for the first time when they are aired.

If the numbers are still lean as the season goes along, I'd be happy to volunteer for a second episode summary - preferably during the final two episodes as I'm giving the last of 8 days worth of workshop presentations on May 4th, so will have a lot of free time opening up after then.

I've never done the finale so I'd like to do that. What is with the 15 and 15a though? Is the a for the reunion? I don't care about the reunion but I want the whole episode up to the naming of the Sole Survivor.

I could do 3/28 episode but not sure which week CBS will skip for the NCAA March Madness.

If the 3/28 episode is skipped, I'll have to wait until the end of April to do another.

I need a writer for this week. When I look at TDT's calendar, I have the correct amount of weeks. I just feel a recap will show up soon. If anyone wants to switch, that would be ok. If you would all like to move up a week until the recap, that would be great. I don't want to deprive anyone of writing. Let me know what you think. I will give the remaining writers first choice.

PepeLePew and Michael need to stay with their dates.

If anyone else would like a shot at writing just let me know.

Tomorrow and next Wednesday I will not be home to watch the episode and will have to catch it later in the week on CBS website and not sure when that will be. Otherwise I would volunteer for this week. Sorry I can't help you...if no one steps up I guess we'll have one week without a Summary. Not a big deal especially with Iltarion and myself delivering the old "one-two punch" for the next two episodes!

I can likely do it. I can just do a shorter, sumsum, version if I have to, but it will get done.

The problem is after having me for two weeks in a row, you won't want anyone else. Hahaha....

Hubby will be gone this weekend so I will write this week's summary. It helps when he's not around. I can spend all the time I want writing. Thanks for the offer iltarion.
