Mr. Eko's "storytelling" last night bumps him to a favorite. He was genius, and I loved the writing in that scene.
I agree, Rhyn. It was wonderful.I was afraid I wouldn't like Mr. Eko, since the character that actor played on OZ scared me so much.
What a great actor he is, I can't wait to find out more about Mr. Eko's past.

The first time I saw the film, I noticed the very abrupt cut after "do not use the computer for . . ." Nice to see the missing piece of the film finally.And what the horrible cliff-hanger to end the episode with. We have to wait four weeks?

I can't decide whether or not it was really Walt or if it was the others pretending to be Walt to gain access to the rest of the survivors...it's probably Walt, but a little part of me thinks it's not really him.What an awesome (but annoying) cliffhanger!

Alvar Hanso, aka the guy in the film, was like "DO NOT USE THIS FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE" and then it kinda snapped to his "Congratulations, and thank you..." or whatever. Does anybody else think that the film is still missing a part or parts?

Definately Das Mole. I noticed a 'change in voice stress' at one point, and KNEW that another portion of film was still missing.Phoenix Mons..... I didn't think about that. I wanna believe it's really Walt, trying to communicate with Michael. My first thought was that he (Walt) was taken to an underwater 'Bunker' with maybe a shark logo Darma thingy, where the 'others' stay. And somehow Psycho mind overpowered his captors, took over the Bunker, and is at their computer, trying to make contact with someone.
..... I'm probably way off on this though. Just a thought.
The other thing was that, I have to say...the new clip of the film made it seem much darker and a lot more creepy and weird...you've got to wonder what's on the other missing parts...

Loved it but I just feel more confused than ever. Not that it is a bad thing. I felt they were going one way with everything and now it seems all topsy turvy again!I need a few more days to wrap this around my little mind.

I thought this was the weakest episode yet. I didn't care about Kate's story at all and didn't find it compelling whatsoever. And I used to like Kate.The only part of the episode I liked was the last second when "Dad?" pops up on the screen.

All the island stuff, tho? Brilliant. I'm lovin' me some Mr. Eko. I'm dying for his flashback ep. And "Dad?"? Gave me chills.
I have no idea where they were going with the whole Black Stallion thing, but it seems to me more and more that there is something that is materializing internal thoughts/fears in a way that they become visible (and interactive, apparently, as Kate was able to pet the horse) to more than just the "thinker". I know the common belief is that Boone's vision was due to some hallucinogen that Locke supposedly slipped him, but I never thought that was the case. Shannon and Sayid saw Walt. I'm convinced that was from Shannon's subconscious, but Sayid saw him too. Sawyer and Kate both saw the horse. Jack saw his dad...several times. So my far-fetched conclusion is some sort of virtual reality device probably powered by the electromagnets. Too Stephen King? Prolly, but it's all I got right now.

LOL...... It was. They do comedy sketches of 'What else is in the Hatch' . I (for one) wish they wouldn't trash our view of the show with an advertisement from a comedy show.

Wasn't overly satisfied with the Kate storyline, but assumed that they left it vague for future development. I'm sure there is a lot more to it that we will see in, oh about 10 episodes from now. Did you hear that Damon and JJ....I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.
