I was going to post this in the Season 5 thread, but I couldn't find one.

So, I watched Melissa d'Arabian's new show, Ten Dollar Dinners. I was expecting it to be good, but I was unimpressed. I found that I didn't trust her culinary knowledge when she insisted on perpetuating the myth that mushrooms shouldn't be washed in water, and none of her recipes really intrigued me. I deleted the show from my Tivo queue after about 2.5 episodes.

I refuse to watch because she generally annoyed me, so thanks for the review.

Glad I'm not the only one that glares at chefs that tell us not to wash mushrooms. My friend's husband asked me what my mushroom washing stance was recently, while we were making dinner. It's funny how it's become a hot topic.
