Welcome to the boards. There are over 33,000 members currently registered on this board (remember, it serves all of reality TV, not just this show, so some post on this forum, others post on other forums, many post on multiple forums). This is a threaded community, so people are encouraged (required) to, when possible, post to an existing thread on a forum rather than starting a new thread for every thought. Works better for discussion that way.
The number of posts on any one thread is not indicative of how many people are here, or how many people are interested in either the show or the thread. I've seen threads in some forums go well into the hundreds in only a few days.
My guess about this particular thread is that the number of responses has nothing to do with interest or the number of people here. It's more of an asked/answered sort of thing.
The original poster asked where they could find an application &/or where a casting call was being held. It was answered in the first response. After that, on this particular topic, there isn't much more to offer. Hence, few responses.
Stick around and lurk for awhile. Read the different threads here, and on some of the other forums (list to your left <----) on the blue bar. Some have forums within forums. Help is found under Off Topic. It will come together to give you a good picture of how this place works.
Please also read the board guidelines (found as a link (the underlined words) in tiny type at the top of every page). Reading and understanding them will serve you well in the long run. Biggest issues I've seen with someone new to the board are:
1) Not understanding that we are a reality TV bashing/discussion site - so bashing shows and contestants is A-OK, but bashing other posters is absolutely NOT allowed.
2) Duplicate topics and posts are NOT okay and will be locked. This is a site for discussion so you're expected to read other threads and add to an ongoing discussion where possible rather than just starting a post to say what's on your mind.
3) Not understanding that copyright law is, in fact, a law that the board respects. Don't ask for, or offer, taped copies of shows.
4) Don't publicly question mods or restart a locked post topic without permission. There are icons on the top right of each post that let you e-mail or PM someone (including mods). There's an Alert tag on the bottom left of each post in case you think something violates a guideline or offends you. Use them if you need them.
Glad to have you here. Hope you stick around. We have a number of Canadian posters (as well as posters from other countries). It's a great mix. My advice? RLLPP. Read (guidelines first - then threads), lurk, learn, poke (into other forums), and post. Most of all, have fun.
Hope to see you around.
