I hope she doesn't become a regular or I'll probably just start skipping the judges comments altogether. I've started muting Mary recently. This is a smooth hip hop. It feels like it has been ironed out, no excitement. Hip hop has fear and whenever you talk about it what are they going to do. If you lean a bit too far, if you drop her you drop her. No danger in it. Did you feel comfortable Jonathan. You had no contact with your partner. The chemistry you had last week wasn't there this week. If you aren't going to get the style right you can get the nodding right. You can get putting your hat on your head together. That wasn't good enough in style or good enough. Sunday school picnic outing. Will take bets. You are too good to be in the bottom three, but unless you bring it you are going to be. Cat. Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed. Mary I'm in touch with my inner gangster. I have to agree things weren't synchronized, no powerful chemistry. Talks about last week. I know you wanted to nail this, wasn't in the right groove. Biggest highlight was the tumbling, not enough. Hopefully you will get another chance. Toni. Hip hop is a series of steps from many styles mostly street. If you have no ghetto groove it feels store bought. You didn't work precisely together. You did the work. Fantastic. Mary. He's put a whammy on me. It was really good but wasn't like last week. It wasn't at that level. Some things not synchronized. Not really together. Expected a little bit more, you look like rock stars. You started to get the character. You are growing as a partnership. That is really going to help you. Little shaky as not as amazing as last week. Toni. I think the two of you have the potential to develop into an extremely powerful couple. Watching you carry her at the end in a macho sexy way. Don't let your technique get in the way of your emotions. You are supposed to have the technique. Let your emotions take you to the next level. Electricity between you. The sexiest girl up there your partner was incredible. What a difference A Day makes. Grown. you gave your partner something to undulate against. You were strong for her. Tony did a magnificent job on the two of you. Mary. Tony said selling the emotion would be the biggest part of getting this down. What you are selling, I am buying. From the second you start to do the walks and the glance it was so believable, the standing spin was unbelievable and believable. Ade your technique and you were grooving and more screaming. What is not to buy. You were with it and with her every step of the way. She has someone to dance off of and you were presenting her. I saw what was going on. Toni. I must say (fans self) It was beautifully done, the ballet training really worked and then saying something about Tony. I think you really hit that. The way that you dance you brought it on, hitting hard, and Janette you were really nailing it too. You have been hitting it every single week. Scream. Toni. I think that the juxtaposition was really strategic and good for you. Once again street is a really tough thing to do. If you don't have the groove it is like when you dont point toes in ballet. Yes and no, sometimes the flow won't allow for tricks. It is just not one of those routines you get a Wow, it was very beautiful. From that point of view very beautiful and elegant won't make anyone stand up and cheer. Audience Cheers. I hope I am wrong. Mary. That was no nightmare. It wasn't even close. It was flowing and it was totally believable. It was endearing. It had a beautiful flow. Not even close to ballroom, we expect good lines and that you have a feel of the rise and fall it was amazing. "General comments" I thought last night was better than I expected based on the previews. Only Jonathan was bad. Even Philip was considerably better than last week. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't continue with some of the themes about the dancers (Melissa's age, Vitolio's background, Evan's brother, etc). It looks like they could have the whole show set up considering everyone's second choice: (costume design, jewelry/props, lighting, sound, etc.) Say, did anyone else notice that in the practice Randi was wearing a top which said "Unitard Girl"? It also had a picture of a blonde girl on it. It made me wonder if someone designed it specifically for her.
