They could have so easily ridiculed that girl (and the creepy bro-sis couple from the last audition), but instead they were direct in their critiques, diplomatic in their NOs, and supportive of the interest in dance. No need to be hateful, really. That was pretty damn extraordinary. Deep and impressive. Mary. Second that. Did everything we ask of a dancer. Nigel. One of the best centers and great control coming out. But... He's 17. I'm not sure I'm happy about that, as it appearing too frequently could dilute the specialness of the program. I've always associated summer with SYTYCD -- it fits well with summertime. But they are definitely doing a fall season this year, and I'm guessing Nathan will be on it. "RE: Nathan Trasoras" I suspect it is so they don't have to come up with as much scripted programming through the year. They have to fill AI's hours with something in the fall and another reality TV show actually makes more sense then try out 3-4 shows and either hope one or more of them you can actually keep for 1/2 they year or try to figure out how to keep something relatively popular alive for several months when AI takes it's spot on the schedule. I'd rather see SYTYCD in the fall than see AI two times a year. That works for some shows. I do think it may make the fall season a bit of a let down as there won't be the waiting for it to come back. I do wonder what they will do next summer. It is nice to have a reality TV show I really like on during the summer and I'll miss it next year. I hope it may show a bit more long term commitment to the show that it is going to be on during the year.
