Sagebrush Dan 9824 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 07-05-08, 01:18 AM (EST) "Love fest" Okay, we've got our rant threads, and we need those. So here's a chance to drool over the dancers you love. Who are your favorites and why do you love them? Who are your guilty pleasures? And, please keep the slamming of the dancers and the jidges on the rant threads. I've already noted my favorite male dancer is Mark because of his commitment to the dance along with his versatility — let's just forget that disastrous foxtrot for this one. Although I've been a Kherington fan since Dance 1, Katee is giving her some serious competition. I do believe her Mia dance was more demanding than Kherington's, and she did a great job for the most part. Guilty pleasures? Gev's solo. Holy cow! She hasn't missed a single beat that I've seen. From her jaw dropping audition with a borrowed partner through her foxtrot. I think Katee would be my second choice, Chelsie-lite. I think it's crappy what Fox did to her at Vegas for the sake of drama. For the guys, it's hard to pick one. Gev is so talented in his specialty but a weaker partner. Mark is good, but he's been matched up with uber-partner so it's hard to say what he would be like with, say, Comfort. I didn't give him much credit and figured he'd be gone by now, but he's held his own so far. That bed dance last week really did it for me - and not just the abs! I'm loving Josh & Katee. She has redeemed herself completely for the Vegas fiasco (in my eyes at least). Mark & Chelsie are movin' on up on my list (#3 couple). They are awesome and are working together wonderfully. Next on my list would be Comfort. I love her and think she is great, even when she's a fish out of water, she just needs a better partner which leads me to.....Will, I like him, but he needs a new partner FAST before I change my mind. I really like Gev & Courtney, but I just like the above so much more I don't know where to put them. This is an awesome season.... They both dance with intense passion and have great chemistry. Both are able dancers and work to eachothers streignths. Chelsea is very cute and Mark's personality and quirkiness make him easy to root for. Plus, they danced my favorite routine of the season so far the bleeding love hip hop dance. I have watched in on Tivo and youtube at least 20 times. I also really like Katee, she seems very humble and is a great dancer. Joshua is good, but I'm kinda getting tired of the feel good story that surrounds him. Can we base the dancers on their abilities and not their backgrounds please? "RE: Love fest" Definitely not drooling over anyone this season unless Blake has snuck back in the competition and dissin' the judges again! I initially liked Joshua before the competition even started. Thought he was a very well-rounded dancer. In the actual competition, I don't know. Mark has been so solid. He has gorgeous lines and conviction. He throws himself into the dance, but Gev and Twitch have impressed me. Amongst the women, Kherington and Katee I would say have stood out for me. I was very disappointed in Katee's swing last week. It was flat and had no bounce. I'm waiting for Jessica to crank it up. She seems to have it all, but hasn't as yet unleashed it. Might be the choreographer or her partner. Not really rooting for anyone this year. So much energy and fun in these four routines. --Oh so close to Major Love Chelsie H and Mark. a bit weeker than the two above couples right now, but also doing really well for me so far. --Still crushing... I still love Twitchington, but this was a rough week for them, do they have the versitility to keep up with the three couples above. Jessica and Will, good, but something is missing from the performance value from these two so they aren't in the top. Thayne. Wish I got to see you dance with some of the other girls, there is something about you that just makes me smile. --Where is the Love? Only one of the top 12 I'm not feeling the love for and that is Comfort. I wanna love you, but you are just good in a field of greats. Twitchington DID have a rough week, but they're definitely my 2nd favorite couple. I like Katee and Joshua, and I'm not sure why, but Katee just doesn't do it for me. She's an amazing dancer, but something isn't there... for me at least! I LOVE Jessica and Will, and I feel that Jessica gets a bad rap 'cause she's paired with the oh-so-awesome Will. Maybe she'll shine when she has another partner? I LOVE Thayne and I think Comfort is holding HIM down... perhaps a Jessica/Thayne combo would work out nicely??? Courtney and Gev are so spunky and fun, I love them too!!!!! If I had to pick one girl, it'd be Chelsie... One guy... hmm... so tough. I've been a Twitchington fan all along, and I still like them, but that "Bollywood" routine convinced me of their ability. Techniques? Learnable. This isn't an "international dance competition" show. Personality? They have it. Heart? Ah, there is just "something" there. I like Mark & Chelsie too. "RE: Love fest" I'm so late to doing this that almost all of the top 10 are my favorites, lol. Starting from the auditions, Josh has been my top favorite and the past two weeks have cemented that for me. He is an awesome dancer and so versatile. I really think he is the best overall, plus he's got a cute personality. Will is a good dancer and I enjoy watching him but he doesn't have the charisma that Josh or Mark (or Danny) has. I love Twitch and Mark for their personalities but I don't think they are as good overall. Katee has grown on me all season and is my favorite girl now. I like Chelsie too.
