I do think this crop of hip hoppers realized doing some training outside of their style before they got to the show would be a key to getting into the finales. I don't believe they are getting "puff" dances anyone could do this season, your mileage may vary. What kills me is when people don't do well in their style. I do suspect the choreographers go all out when you get someone in their own style because you shouldn't have to teach the basics and should be able to throw all the best stuff into the routine. ETA. Susie is a professional, she has worked on Shakira's tours and on TV for things like the Latin Grammys and I think for the Miami Heat or other sports team down there. Most of the Hip hop street folk for this season also have had some professional gigs. So I don't think any of them really count as amateurs. Sure they may have learned on the street, not a fancy dance company but that doesn't mean they don't get paid gigs, even if they still have a day job.

Totally not fair. I did pick him, but never really saw him dance. The third guy, Chris had the weakest solo. Marquis did about a kabillion revolutions on that turn - not to mention sky jumps. >????? i so agree with your post...i think marquis should have stayed and lets face it, chris's solo was AWFUL, i dont know why they picked him to stay, give me a break, all tricks??? i dont think so i too would have loved to see marquis be teamed up with comfort, i really cant believe they didnt put them together and send cris home! they IMO got it right sending susie home, BUT i dont think comfort is going to be able to keep up with the other dance styles, it is just a matter of time, and she will also be leaving

I thought his tricks were amazing..and wouldn't you do tricks if you were "dancing for your life"? This doesn't make sense at all to me..and you could see the absolute shock on the poor boys face. It looked like it started at the shoulder, crumpled down the front and hung in no particular manner past the very, very short hemline. Maybe everything is short on her though. Was it toilet paper? I agree with the good doctor. No way was Chris' solo better than Marquis. Chris was stiff and wooden. Marquis flew across that stage with a feline grace that was amazing.
I wouldn't be surprised if looks figured into it.

i think susie was voted off b/cuz of her crying before her dance, and the pros telling her she is a street dancer, i do think she should have gone home, BUT comfort was way up there with her! i think susie could have got more dance styles down, than comfort. i wont be surprised if comfort goes next week, thats if she is in the b3...i think susie did a wonderful job on the waltz the week before....and could pull off more dance styles , JMO but comfort, and chris should have been in the b3 the first week also, JMO but chris should have left this week, and maybe even comfort over susie,
