Don't know the results yet. This is the first time I've seen an MRI done without an MD present to interpret the results. Sweetie's disappointed and scared. I'm concerned about Sweetie's emotional state (Sweetie is VERY upset about the loss of Jessi, but understands why). Back to the MRI: He has claustrophobia and that was a definite issue in spite of the fact that only the lower half of his body was in there. He focused on his favorite movie segment to keep his mind occupied.
We will hopefully get the results tomorrow (Friday).

Reminded me of the Ray Coniff Singers trying to do soul (Ray Coniff Singers were a choir in the 60s who were about as white bread as you can get). VFTW part of me LOVED the results tonite....how dare Nigel say America got it wrong...he kept him in there etc etc I actually hooted!! Nigel even is ex pr on AI and went thru it with Sanjaya...Cedric is no Sanjaya but I'm sure he loves the controversy...more people with watch...The judges did get it right on Jesus though I said WOW to Neil and even WOWER to Danny (he's going to go very far imo...I thought it was funny tho that he couldn't stop the nervous laughing after they found out...a bit of arrogance back...hmmm?) I don't think Jesus had the popularity of the others so he would have gone soon after top 10 if they had made it...so no big loss...and it's more time to be evil  But poor Jessi..Nigel imo wanted to cut Lauren (remember he said they would be tougher on her but she svcked!) and he was right. But Mary and Debbie overruled him bc they are both female dancers and they did not want to jeopardize her health plain and simple imo... I said the same thing about Lauren...it took her half the time to strut and strip and there was nothing to her dance. If Neil and Her make it farther than next week (or the week after for Neil) I'll be mad....I don't want any other guys (C and N) to not make top 10. I came in at the tail end of the show when Nigel told Lauren off. I am no fan of Lauren's, so I was glad to see this. I've been disappointed by her work so far. We had recorded the show, so I watched the recording. I think he was too hard on her. I thought her slinkiness had wonderful understated pizazz and sexiness when she danced around the stairs and subtley sashayed onto the main stage. I saw that there was more beneath than what was showing, whereas I believe Jessie was dancing at the top of her game. For Jessie, this was as good as it was going to get, but Lauren could get much better. Again, I've always been a bigger fan of Jessie's than Lauren, but this was what I saw. Jessie killed in the cha cha and I agree with the above poster who said that had she danced last night, there was no way she would have been voted off. That probably would have been the best dance of the evening.
After that cha cha, Pasha is probably my favorite (but, dayum, Danny was good in that solo!! Neil too, but Danny surprised me.). ETA: IMHO, I think Anya gave the weakest solo (and yet she is one of my favorites).

I'm surprised that you guys all think Neil's solo was great. I thought he was actually the weakest last night. As another poster pointed out up thread, Jessi has delivered solid performances and her solo last night was pretty good. Lauren has delivered so-so performances, and her solo was HORRIBLE! But she's teacher's pet, so she gets to stay. *rolls eyes* Anya? WTF was that? Terrible. You're a LATIN dancer, honey. We want fire and passion and sassiness, none of which your solo had. Very disappointing. Finally, I am so sick of this VFTW-type crap. I know it's just a stupid reality show, but I don't find anything entertaining about watching people who suck and seeing great dancers go instead. Grrrrr.

I do blame the judges for not booting Cedric in week 1 and especially in week 2, but I was talking about the fans voting for him. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind that is though. Are they VFTW, or do they feel sorry for him, or do they actually like him? I doubt that the reason they weren't in the B3 last night was because of how great Shauna was.

Yeah, Emy. I know that VFTW doesn't officially do SYTYCD, but I don't think that stops people from voting that way on their own. That is what frustrates me. The overall idea of voting for someone just to "stick it to the judges" or whatever.

Well when the judges go out of their way to so blatantly manipulate the voting you gotta expect some backlash.That we are 125% certain how America will vote and regardless of what happens on Thursday we will be sending your butt home is going to make enough people get pissy enough that it could get them just enough support to get out of the bottom three. Or... *puts on tin foil hat* Cedric and Shauna were in the bottom three but after the judges were so obnoxious they figured that the drama of them being saved when Cedric should go will make more people vote next week so they can brag about the vote totals, etc. As long as they could get rid of someone they didn't want to make the top ten it really doesn't matter if he goes this week or next week. It is hard to know who I believe to be more cynical. The voting public

The producers Heck, look at what Sanjaya did for AI, why not manufacture Cedjaya to get the same buzz. Although I don't know that they coulda gotten Nigel to go along with it, but they do love the whole "America.Got.It.Wrong." thingy.
