"Cast Change" Word is that spectacular Chinese acrobat Red Panda (Rong Niu) has withdrawn from the competition. The reason for this hasn't been disclosed, there is some speculation that she is recovering from an injury and unable to perform at this time. Well, whatever the reason, it may be for the best. Spectacular as she is, her circus act is repetitive by nature and not really suited to the AGT competition. Only one-trick dogs can get away with being repetitive on AGT, and I certainly wouldn't call her a dog. All you Seinfeld fans understand when I say spectacular I mean spec-tac-u-lar. Anyway, as I understand it, one of her regular gigs is travelling the country performing during halftimes at NBA games, so if any of you want to see her live in person in all her spectacularness, go for it. Recruited to replace Rong in QF #5 is 10-year-old contortionist Melody Caballero, member from birth of Circus Caballero. Yep, don't be fooled by her age, this kid is a pro, and we really haven't had much chance to get bored with it yet. Melody's initial audition was not broadcast in the pre-recorded audition episodes, but she performed in Las Vegas where she didn't make the cut because she didn't have a coach from the Miami Untouchable Dance Machine.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
