In other words, are you saying there would be NO singers brought on at all, in the very beginning rounds. And we'd not see any until during the YouTube round, then after that? 'splain some more to me, and I'm sure I'll be right behind you. You are a very smart person, Dabo. Like I said before, singing is just one huge talent that so many people out there have. LAST EDITED ON 08-27-10 AT 02:23 PM (EST) I'd like that if all you do is stand in one spot wearing normal clothes and maybe play the guitar or piano you don't get to try out for a year or two. Maybe too much to ask but Dabo's all the singers in one round and no singers in any other round so that you can't end up with more than 50% or 25% singers in the next round would be a nice change. So many other talents have zero chance of ever doing well because everyone in America votes for the singers so the more the field narrows the more it becomes America's Got Singers and no other talent dare to be seen on TV. ETA: Basically make it so singers knock out other singers, not all singers get a free pass and if you do anything other than stand there and sing you can't win, you can't even make it to the finals. Unless you are a Prince Poppycock and it is a whole stage show, not just oh maybe throw some random background peeps to pretend the show isn't just American Idol 2.0 with a few people out of the AI age range.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

LAST EDITED ON 08-27-10 AT 01:04 PM (EST) I could go with a singer free season, or three. That occured to me as well. But I think we'd only guarantee there'd be no chance they'd pay us any attention.
