Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) will be back, in 24 Season 7. But we saw him die!http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracker/2007/09/tony-comes-back.html What, is he a zombie now? So let's see: we have Tony back from the dead, CTU closed down, a woman president (and a "first gentleman") (what happened to Wayne Palmer and Noah Daniels?), Jack Bauer in DC, Janeane Garofalo as an FBI agent investigating Jack, Chloe and Bill Buchanan back in some capacity (what happened to Chloe's pregnancy? Is she a mom now?), and a storyline that is rumored to involve the son of the President. Uh, when does Heroes come back?

I read about Tony's Season 7 comeback in TV Guide. How does Tony's "death" differ from Edgar's. The clock didn't tick audibly after Sentox gas killed Edgar. But, after Jack discovered Tony in a death-like state, the clock ticked at its usual volume. A silent clock signifies death. A ticking clock gives the producers an option of "reviving" a character who appeared to die in a past season.
