I thought for sure Chloe would have been back last night after Michelle gave Sarah the boot.

Am I the only one that swoons and drools when Tony is on the screen? He is so freaking hot!

yay Michelle! for getting rid of Sarah. But, you should have shot her in the back. You're good at that

and yay Paul and the brothers!

What did Marwan mean by "the President is on a ver tight schedule. we can't be late" or something like? they going to try and get him like they did Heller (who still rocks, btw)...or is the Prez somehow involved? i hope not.

This last episode was terrible, IMHO. After a string of near-perfect episodes, I thought the writing was so incredibly cheesy. I hate that the producers felt compelled to write in two Muslim American characters as heroes just because of the controversy surrounding the show recently. This show has always been about controversy! Why give in now?

And the way Jack and Tony practically read each others minds was obviously just a way to get the plot moving quicker. I expect more intricate plots than this. Come on, 24. Impress me next week.

I did, however, like the dialouge between Heller and Audrey about Paul and Jack.

agree on your points LoL. I also wondered if the bros were a response to the political correctness police. I hope not. I didn't think it was too heavy handed though, so it was ok with me.

btw - anyone watch Kelsey Grammer's Sketch Show? Is Chloe one of the actors on it??

yes, Mary Lynn Rajskub is going to be on Kelsey Grammer's show, that is why Chloe has been absent from 24 for several weeks

"I hate that the producers felt compelled to write in two Muslim American characters as heroes just because of the controversy surrounding the show recently."

They even let both of them live, completely breaking 24 script rule #17: Attractive men of middle eastern descent will die. (Season 2 was especially good about following this rule.) I figured the more attractive of the two brothers was a goner for sure before the gun battle began. The writers surprised me by only wounding him.

<Bye bye Dina

I'm not sure about that - it all happened behind the wall, so we don't know what was really going on. Is it possible he just wanted Jack to think she were dead? Not sure why he'd do that, though.

I don't think the director would have missed an opportunity to show someone getting shot.

Now, when I read that I wondered why would Marwan want Behrooz? I didn't think he had any major info or play in this all other than doing what his parents wanted. So, just like Dina he's expendable. Then, I realized why. It's just a cover to get CTU to focus on this exchange rather than pouring resources into other unfolding events.

Thanks Bawdy - haven't had much time for commentary lately.
