"Reunion/Project Jay"
The reunion was fun. Random thoughts:

1. Why is it so cruel, in Kara's opinion, that Santino made fun of Diana's voice, but it was okay for Kara to mock Andre? Although in Kara's defense, she did a great Andre impression, and he kind of begs to be mocked.

2. I think Santino doing Tim is the Funniest Thing On This Show Ever. Especially reciting Nine Inch Nails songs.

3. Was anyone else reminded of F. Murray Abraham's Solieri when Nick spoke?

4. Wow. Big Fat Tie Man who got bounced first dropped at least two hundred pounds. I didn't know who he was at first.

5. Weirdness: Um, someone drank a little too much koolaid. Guess who?

6. Milder Weirdness: Daniel's "Heidi, I love you." He went from earnest wannabe designer to stalker in three seconds there. I hope to god he's kidding about coming back for Season III.

I could not stay up til the end of Project Jay but I enjoyed what I saw. I still lvoe that Jay. And I think it was intriguing that he refused the Project money so he wouldn't be locked into a contractual thing with them.

1. "RE: Reunion/Project Jay"
This season of PR's reunion show was fun, fun, fun!!!!!! I couldn't help but laugh.

I thought it was kind of mean for Santino to bash on Diane's voice, even if it was the type of voice that could get annoying. I guess Kara thought it was ok for her to mock Andrae because it was more out of good humor?

Which leads me to how much I was reminded of why I loved Andrae. All those clips of him were halirious. That guy is definately a very theatrical individual.

I thought that Nick spoke like a mature individual. He's a classy guy who just can't keep his panties in a bunch over a minor tiff with Santino. One thing I can't stand is overly bitter losers so I'm glad he didn't turn into one.

I too was shocked to see John. I was looking at him like who the heck is this guy?!!! I'm glad to see something turned out good for him.

Guadalupe was absolutely insane!!!! Why they allow these people to get plastered before having to answer questions is beyond me. I guess they figure it's a way to losen them up but it's really ridiculous to do since some people can't answer questions. I did have to laugh when she went on and on about whatever though.

I learned something about Daniel Franco that I didn't know, that he's straight. Not that I care but like some in the competition I assumed that he was gay as well and I don't remember hearing any talk about his girlfriend. And yeah the whole I love you Heidi did come off a bit stalker scary.

As for the Jay show, well I watched some of it but was not very entertained. Nothing but a bunch of whinning from his part and I really don't care to hear someone act like life is so rough and carry on like a baby when they were given an opportunity that alot of people competing against him would love to have. I did catch something at the end with Heidi apologizing about the dress. So did she end up not wearing a dress he designed or did he have to recreate another design?

Heidi commissions Jay to make a dress for her to wear to the Emmys. Jay ends up in LA three days before the Emmys with the dress and needs to do major work on it. He begs Kara Saun for help, because he says he needs to get three days of work done in two, and she ends up getting an older costume designer named Tommy to come over to Jay's hotel on Saturday and Sunday (with sewing equipment) to help redo the dress.

With about 4 hours to go, they finally get the dress done and are working on the "fine tuning" -- when Jay gets a call from one of the Project Runway producers telling him that Heidi's advisors have convinced her that she should wear an "earth mother' type dress so soon after giving birth, so she's not going to wear Jay's dress that he and Tommy just spent two entire days reworking. The producer tries to convince Jay that this is just par for the course for a designer, because celebrities like Heidi change their minds all the time.

Jay, though, is crushed. It's the best segment of the show.

I totally agree! I thought it was so funny when he was pretending to be a robot doing Tim's voice! Also, he and Nick singing the where is Danny Franco song was the funniest! Daniel, "where are you"? (wherever it is, I hope you stay there!)

>6. Milder Weirdness: Daniel's

That was SO wierd it was disturbing! Especially the way that he said it, he was really serious. Heidi was probably freaked out by that, I know I would be! Something about the look in his eyes is seriously creepy!

I like Jay, too. I loved it when he was cruising along in his truck and said he was imagining it was the 70's in his poncho! Rock On with your poncho Jay! I have one, too!

6. Milder Weirdness: Daniel's "Heidi, I love you." He went from earnest wannabe designer to stalker in three seconds there. I hope to god he's kidding about coming back for Season III.

I rewatched most of the reunion episode last night, and noticed that the camera often panned to Daniel's face, with him mostly seeming to just be sitting there staring. It added a different level of creepiness to his "I love you" remark, because this time I knew it was coming. They also showed a clip when he intervened during a tirade by Santino (the lingerie challenge), when apparently Santino was arguing not only with Nina but also Heidi.

I think there is definite goddess worship going on there, but hopefully he got a grip on himself after sobering up.

I'm assuming I can catch this in re-runs this weekend. It sounds highly entertaining.

I assumed Daniel Franco was straight. He just skeeves me out..yes, in that soft-talking stalker kind of way: "If I can't have you, no one can."

Is it just me or did they spend most of the show picking on Santino? He was very far from perfect but most of the show seemed to be about him. I also saw him on Regis and Kelly. Are any of the other finalist doing appearances or just him? I can't help thinking made he lost so he is out selling himself. I saw his collection for fashion week and it was really nice. I think it will be a tough choice between him and Daniel. I am sorry I was a Chole fan but I didn't like the puffy sleeves.

I want to adopt Andrae. He is such a sweetheart.

I still get creepy shivers thinking of Daniel Franco's "I love you, Heidi." I think she needs to keep a restraining order handy.

Why did they call Diana and Marla twins when they arrived? Was it only because they left the same time?

Guadalupe, please get help.

Rachel should have knocked Zulema out of her chair after the comments she made about her. Maybe that would have shut her up. It's over, Zulema. Let it go.

Have these people never watched reality shows? People always trash each other, but Santino says a few things and they get their feelings hurt. Just roll with it. Many people said nasty things about him along the way. You could tell a lot of what he said was in joking, like his "you can't polish a turd" comment about Nick. But Nick got upset. Sure it wasn't nice to complain about Diana's voice. I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings, but her voice drove me nuts too. She needs to learn how to use both lips when she talks.

I may have felt differently if I watched season 1, but Jay seems like just a big pain in the butt and I have no interest to watch him. But I can understand how he'd be hurt or ticked off after spending all that time on Heidi's dress to be told it was for nothing.

I am not a Zulema fan however, everyone bitching about her doing a model walk challenge is childish. Everyone in the competition who wins the challenge is given the choice to do so. This is a competition people!! Not let's do everything to make everyone happy play shop.

Lastly, Tim also made a comment on how poorly Rachel walks!

7. "RE: Reunion/Project Jay"
LAST EDITED ON 02-27-06 AT 11:30 AM (EST)

Best segment of the entire show was Project Runway: The Musical. I think I would actually like Santino if I hung out with him everyday, all the songs him and Andre and Nick were singing were killing me! How funy!!

Runner up: Santino's impressions of Tim Gunn. They threw in some extras we hadn't seen and I was rolling on the floor. I love Santino's impressions of him!

Creepiest moment: How awkward was it when Daniel Franco looked right into Heidi's eye and said: "I love you Heidi." and then there was literally 5-6 seconds of dead air as everybody shifted uncomfortably in their seats! SO CREEPY!!

Also, why did they allow them to get so liqoured up??

I think that Daniel B is the winning designer hands down. But, it would be great if Project Runway offered Santino an apprentice with the show "Project Jay". They could allow Jay to show Santino how to break into the real worlk and maybe allow him one design of his own every two months. I think Jay and Santino might have an interesting working experience. Don't Ya'll?

I agree that was the funniest thing all season! That and the clips of Andrea, especially him coming out of the revolving door! What a character!

> I think I would
>actually like Santino if I
>hung out with him everyday...

Me too! Even though he looks like a big scary troll, I think he and I have a similar sense of humor! He would have me laughing all day! He is funny, although if his jokes were directed at you, you would probably think he was annoying!

And Yes, next time the gang should lay off the quaaludes before the reunion interview!

11. "RE: Andrae"
Who else thought that Andrea had really matured since being off the show? He seemed so calm and "present" during the reunion show. Maybe he was embarrassed by watching his emotional expressiveness :-0 (that's Andrae hee hee)

Or maybe he started on meds...

I was just very impressed by his behavior--especially when he said he would take back his negative comment about Emmett.

Any thoughts?

12. "RE: Andrae"
Yes, I also thought Andrea seemed very composed during the final interview. He obviously didn't snack on the bowl full of quaaludes that Guadalupe and Franco got into prior to the show.

I'm sure he had mixed feelings about his emotinal meltdown, especially when they showed the clip again in extended time (I thought that was kind of mean). Don't we all have moments that we look back on and think "why did I do that?" That's the reality in reality TV.

I thought it was big of him to own up to his comment about Emmett and to say he was wrong and to apologize for it. I think Andrea is talented and that he hopefully has a bright future in fashion. It sure seemed like Tim liked him, or maybe he just liked saying his name!
Andrea was so much fun to watch on the show. How about when they showed all of his crazy facial expressions? That was so funny!
