PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

I so agree! I can't believe they didn't send him home too. To me, making your client who already has body image problems feel even worse by constantly reminding her that she's not a "normal" anorexic twig was unforgivable. It would have been one thing if the only people who heard him pi$$ and moan were the designers and Tim. But he made it a point to make HER and her friend know exactly how he had been robbed of a chance at winning over and over and over again. All four judges watched him blame his client. They all saw how deflated the client was, and watched her friend cry ON STAGE because of his treatment of them. To not send him home was just wrong. And he was still blaming her at the end in the green room! Maroon is really to soft a word. Supreme A$$wipe would be more accurate.

LAST EDITED ON 08-24-12 AT 08:31 PM (EST)True, but I don't go for curse words. Besides, "maroon" is more creative. Or maybe "vainglorious idiot" (got that from a Mrs. Murphy mystery book). Or a "nin-COW-poop" (another quote from the immortal Bugs Bunny). I'd have loved to have the judges send Ven home as well as Nathan. But the fact is that until this point, Ven had been one of the better designers! Nate hadn't. In the end, this is a design competition as much as it is a Reality TV show, and thus Nate was the right choice to go home. But I'm sure Ven is in big trouble now. Oh and btw, if I had been Ven's client and he did "It's my way or the highway" on me? I'd have said "The highway, then" -- if I would have been allowed to do so. ETA: Okay, maybe "Supreme A$$wipe" is rather creative. But I still don't go for curse words.

Yeah, he ignored the fact that Gunnar (for one) had a "plus-sized" client, and perhaps Elena did as well. But at least those two handled their clients much better than Ven did! In fact, Gunnar did so well with his client (aided by the fact that she really rocked the runway) that he wound up in the Top 3, not the Bottom 3!As for Ven's claim that he was set up (on Twitter, apparently) -- it's possible that the producers gave him a "plus-sized" client on purpose. But there are three things he should have realized: 1. The producers might have also set up Gunnar and Elena by giving them "plus-sized" models, 2. They might have been testing Ven's ability to work with a regular woman -- and of course, Gunnar and Elena since those two had problems working well with others & 3. Ven didn't have to behave like a "nin-COW-poop"! Gunnar certainly didn't, and I don't think Elena did either. In short, there were more designers that had to work with regular women (average or plus-sized) than "model-sized". Gunnar made it work, Ven refused to.

I had been liking his stuff before this week, but I don't think I can get over his nastiness. (and it's not exactly like he hasn't enjoyed a few ding-dongs in his time)
