mistyrose52 795 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Fitness Correspondent" 12-20-07, 12:14 PM (EST) "No new PR last night? Writers strike got their tongues or holiday specials??" I was SO disappointed! They were running several re-runs on their station, but nothing new. Anyone know WHY?? LAST EDITED ON 12-20-07 AT 12:23 PM (EST) LAST EDITED ON 12-20-07 AT 12:22 PM (EST) Lots of shows do reruns the last couple of weeks of December because viewership tends to be way down during the Holiday Rush. ETA: Most of the scripted shows were planning to go into reruns during December even before the writer's strike. No point wasting new shows on weeks you won't get good ratings and then airing reruns during weeks when people have time to watch. Just like they often air re-runs against things like the Superbowl.
