"Skate Celeb - Premier"
Well, the first episode finally aired & surprisingly there was no blood on the ice. The skating was actually better than I thought it would be, but the show was worse than I thought it would be.

Here are some of my favorite skaters -- my childhood idol Dorothy Hamill (I too had her haircut), Kurt Browning, one of THE most entertaining skaters to watch; Scott Hamilton, how can you NOT love Scotty.

After seeing the lineup of skaters & celebs I thought it would be fun to watch. YET, it really seemed dry & the fun and excitement just isn't there that makes Dancing w/Stars so much fun. Where are the PERSONALITIES??

I hope Fox retools it a bit, because I think it has great potential. Let there be life in these people.

I was pleasantly surprised by Todd Bridges & his routine had the most character, in all. I'll tune in next week to see if the show gets any better.

Last critique -- wonder why they're not going to let the viewers vote along with the judges? Has this been taped & already finished or is it now running in real time after last night's ep? If only the judges vote, it will be very predictable who will go each week. It's obvious the judges have their faves & a lot of the voting goes towards that.

This is not meant to be a summary. I am looking forward to WaterDrop's professional opinion summary!

Also, I will start a thread for my fave couple or 2. Maybe some of you would like to do the same. I like organization, but don't want to be a thread hog.
