So the purpose of this thread is to compile links to the various Starting Over sites and message boards. A fair number of boards have been started by people from the original message board on the offical site. Some ground rules. This thread is just to list the various boards and sites that are out there in one place so people can find the information easier without going through the whole board looking for it in dribs and drabs. Do NOT get into a debate about your opinion of the various sites. Usually they let people who start a thread request to shut it down, and any trashing of other people's efforts to get a SO community together will get me asking to get this thread shut down in a heart beat. Also if the person that runs/owns the board does not want the information about it out there. Do not post the info here. If you don't know if it it OK, ASK. Also check to see if the site you like is posted already before you post it again. That being said here are a few off the top of my head. The Official Site

The thread resides under each topic and is measured by the number of posts to the thread. But every new thread, or in fact every new post to a thread, "bumps" that topic to the top of the first forum page. That? Is why the mods are so down on duplicate topics being started. It gets things cluttered in a hurry and makes it harder to find existing topics. And sorry, but "I don't have time to read" isn't an excuse; if you don't have time to read, you have no time to post either. (That's not directed toward you, 2bhpe.) So these threads get locked by Bebo or other mods, meaning no further messages may be posted to them. Please read the guidelines and this thread for more info, along with just about any thread started by the mods (denoted with a blue symbol). Read more than you post.  
As for recaps? Look down at post 20.

If you go to "Wayback Machine" and type in Allison's Website addy, you can get some of her older versions of her site. There are pages ... pre-S.O, talking about her cancer dilemma etc.. I tried to post a separate thread regarding this, but it was closed. I just thought is was in a different category and that it might've spawned more discussion as to the content of the old pages, and not just a mere "link info" post. But, anyway... per request, I'm posting it here.

I think it was on Vanessa's website where I read about Allison's singing... Vanessa was talking about her favorite moments that never made it on the air. At her post-dance-performance dinner in Las Vegas, Allison sang a beautiful song in V's honor. A is a trained opera singer. The serenade wasn't shown because of royalty/copyright/cost issues involved in using the song.

most of these are very old. It's interesting that they aren't claiming the articles recently published in the hometowns of Allisham and Jessica (obvious press releases by someone connected with the show). Their link to the "official website" still takes you to startingovertv.com which is now a lame duck unless someone pulls their head out of their a**. The cast on B-M is old too. Not updated. Also has a page for casting calls.

And the date on the page above right says today, June 8, 2006. I do find it very hard to believe they will be able to purchase this show, especially if it is no longer in production. Maybe reruns? Hey, somebody email that station for an answer... There is a blurb right in a blue box in the middle of the screen that comes up with the article. EDIT TO ADD: Lady Cleo is correct, this is YEARS OLD! What's the matter with those people...take down your webpage! That means this show should have DIED last year or the year before but people wrote letters and sent emails and they kept it on and look what happened! Be careful what you wish for, you may get it!
