"can't believe Lisa is graduating"
They are always going on about the integrity of the house and up until now I felt they held that belief in high regard. I can't believe Lisa is graduating. For what?? I don't feel she has accomplished anything. She painted a room, had friends over for a one pot meal and you know she will quit her job the minute she gets back to Miami. Do you think the life coaches really believe in her or did they just give up on her? She has lowered the bar for everyone in the house. Where's the integrity?

I agree with you on one hand, except that she did accomplish something, actually, 3 things that Rhonda asked of her.

They asked her to make a meal and she did. Earlier, Lisa would have just bought ready-to-eat food. She had to cook this herself, clean her appartment, arrange a time that was good for all of her guests, etc...etc...

As far as her staying at the job after graduation, that was not part of the condition.

I know this may seem like easy stuff for most people but this is why Lisa was "Growing up at 40" - because these are not things that she is accustomed to.

I don't cook. Ever. And I always thing of how hard it would be to host a Thanksgiving dinner. Many people do this with little stress and some do it very stressed but they still do it. Still others, like myself, see it as so overwhemlming that we wouldn't even consider it.

I am not a huge fan of Lisa but I can relate to her on a certain level. At my age (32) I've not done many things that people my age and much younger have accomplished.

This may not seem like a lot to most people but it's a start.

sunica,
Well, considering Rhonda asked, "What are you lying about?" I would guess that they KNOW she's a lost cause. I had to laugh about the comments Lisa made about her life. I came here with no husband (still don't have any prospects of healthy relationships, and believe you still contact Mr. Internet), and no children (please, please don't have any!!) and no career (and now you pick up clothing part-time until you quit, or do something else. I suppose you could eventually manage the store...maybe...) Rhonda asks Lisa, "Are you faking us out?" And, Lisa acts as if she doesn't know what she means. C'Mon! I am just happy she's gone, gone, gone, gone GONE! I think that was the point to her graduation. Closure. For us. The viewers.
