"An Alternate Universe?" |
After last night's episode I am feeling as if I am in an alternate Universe. A strong strategic player was EVICTED!!! and a weak, sheepish player was made HOH. Let me know if I am not the only one in this alternate universe.

Yeah, that pretty much matches my take on the evening.But show after show (no matter which one it is, really) there are always people I think deserve to go further that leave early and people I feel are useless that get way too far in the game. It's the nature of reality TV. People get ahead for many reasons. Sometimes weak players go farther than strong players. Sometimes because everyone feels they can easily beat them in a challenge so better to drag the useless one along then face a strong competitor at the end. Get the strong ones out of there while you have a chance. Sometimes it is who you make deals with, not how good you are that gets you ahead in the game. A lot of times the social aspects become more important than athletic ability. They could set the games up so the strong always prevail, but that isn't how they set them up.
