"Who would you Hire?"
Unfortunately there are more Martha wanna-bes than Trumps because she won't make us all happy and fire half a mini corp

So given we have
Amanda
Bethany
Carrie
Dawna
Howie
Jim
Leslie
Marcela
Ryan
Sarah

Basically I'll go with the odds and say no original... Matchstick (I believe) will win, Marcela's leadership is obviously in question and no one would be able to deal with Jim.

So out of the original Primarius' I would go with Howie, Ryan, Carrie and perhaps Amanda as final candidates.

1. "RE: Who would you Hire?"
I've never understood what real "executive" apprentice jobs this people are being hired to do? I would think she has plenty of attorneys. I don't know why they choose these people in the first place. I would like to see a job description, and I must say, that none of the people on the show impress me. I like Marcella's personality, and Amanda shows intelligence and poise. Howie may make to the end, if he can shine a little brighter. Who knows? Jim still there after the salad dressing episode is simply beyond beyond, he is pure "entertainment" for many. If you like the crude and rude type, cheer him on.

It's sad and telling, I think, that I don't know who about half of these people are yet. I don't have a clue who should be the winner, but there do seem to be several good candidates - which is a nice change - but not a single one is very interesting except for Jim.

I already know you don't, but I REALLY want to believe you look like the Pringles guy. J Slice

3. "RE: Who would you Hire?"
I havent been watching the tv show as much as I should. From what I've seen, I definitelly like Howie and Ryan. Even though I like Marcela, I think she might not be the right person for a position of leadership. It seems like she's better suited to working behind the scenes, and that is not the trademark of an executive position. The rest are all pretty forgettable to me. Jim needs to go home. He's worn out his welcome and I'm sick of him!

4. "RE: Who would you Hire?"
Well, so far I'd have to say the one that has stood out for me the most is Ryan. I really appreciated his emotion when he made the first sale to that cute couple on the wedding cake task, and he held his own at that dinner with trump. Haven't seen as much "standout" behavior from him on the last task or so...but he's my current favorite.

I think I agree with Jadis - Ryan seems to have his act together...and at the same time he is friendly, approachable, and gets the job done.

9. "RE: Who would you Hire?"
I would have said Ryan until last night's ep (11/16).

I don't care what he says about his loyalty & integrity, he spent that whole coffee task sneering, undermining Marcella & planning how he was going to dump on her in the board room.

During a task you should only be thinking about winning the task.

Now I kinda like Leslie, although her planning was poor when she was PM.

5. "RE: The Cigar"
I would hire the Cohiba*.
A relatively cheap, one time, day laborer, and after a glowing performance, I could throw its stinky butt in the gutter.

7. "RE: Who would you Hire?"
I would orignially say Howie looks like the strongest candidate. He gave me a great first impression when he did a great job in reading the story to the children in the first ever task. Also, when Primarius and Matchstick have their teams reshuffled, he was picked first by Jennifer.

Now that he's fired, I would say Dawna looks like the strongest candidate. Ryan also looks strong, but I would put money on Dawna over Ryan. I like Marcela, but as mentioned in one of the post above, she doesn't seem to have what it takes to lead a corporation.

10. "RE: Who would you Hire?"
Bethany - talks a good game, but probably too abrasive for Martha.
Marcella - no leadership. I thought she did well in the boardroom last night to save herself, but she won't make it.
Jim - I think it's astonishing the other players haven't turned on him yet in the conference room. Plus I keep expecting him to implode and he never does. He has more staying power than I thought but I'll be shocked if Martha hires a wild man like him.
Ryan - Has done well, but I hated his attitude last night.
Dawna - Not sure she's tough enough after she cried last night about possibly hurting Bethany's feelings...what's she going to do when she has to actually fire someone at her new job?
Leslie - Has not done much for me so far.

I think I would go with Ryan & Dawna final two. I'm not really wild about either one but I would likely go with Ryan as the Apprentice, with reservations.

11. "RE: Who would you Hire?"
I would hire Jim or Marcella believe it or not. They seem most passionate about the whole thing. Martha would like Marcella because Marcella seems a lot like her and Alexis. Dawna is good but not as passionate as Jim and Marcella.

12. "RE: Who would you Hire?"
Unfortunately, on Martha's Apprentice, it's easier to say who I would NOT hire than whom I would. That said, I would never hire Jim, too unpredictable, disruptive and unruly, Howie, his willingness to sabotage his team's effort was unforgiveable, and finally and foremost, Marcella, who couldn't lead a class of kindergartners' across the street, but had no problem 'blackmailing' Martha by invoking the wrath of 40 million Hispanics into keeping her uninspired, inept, cooking-tunnel-vision little butt (pastry chef celebrity when they're trying to sell coffee makers?!).
