PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are

Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Final Two to Martha: 'We don't want to work for you.'" |
LAST EDITED ON 12-10-05 AT 03:24 PM (EST)And suddenly, the worst Apprentice season would be saved by the Best Finale Ever. You know that whoever her last contestants standing are, they've seen her comments as reported in http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/martha-stewart-disses-her--apprentice-finalists-laments-having-hire-one-3871.php . How sweet would it be to tune in to the live finale and see, just for example, Dawna and Bethanny stand up, face Martha, and say 'Since you don't want either of us, we've decided we don't need you.' And walk out. Forever. Leaving Martha with an hour to fill and nothing to fill it with. Poor Martha. She keeps saying she had nothing to do with the show (except for starring in it, having her name all over it...). Shouldn't we spare her the indignity of having to finish it with a simple, permanent departure? As of right now, I'm rooting for a walkout. Whoever's left -- whoever goes to the Final Two -- has to know that at this point, their job and so-called learning opportunity are jokes at best. Put the final punchline on Martha. Stand up. Stick out your tongue. Leave. Do that, and the reality community will love you forever. Or for five minutes, whichever comes first. The Integrity Bus is now boarding at Gate #2...

That is horrible! Yes, I agree, the final two, which I am hoping will be Bethany and Dawna, should just say, 'thanks, but no thanks'. Then the camera should cut to THEM writing HER a letter!!! What a crock!

I'm new to survivor type shows. I wasn't impressed with the basic idea of jousting contests to decide anything except jousting skills. As this Martha series went on, I began to see the HUGE risk she ran taking it on. The behavior of the group as a whole was ghastly many times. I couldn't see how Martha could hire any of them without damaging her own image in the process. It's too bad whoever put together the original group has such terrible people-picking skills. She had nothing worthwhile to pick from and the remainders of each week weren't learning much by way of character insights or even decently adult public behavior. Ryan was clearly stewed that last night and Marcella was helpless to stop him.The final three are so horrible, I honestly don't understand how Martha Stewart as a brand could associate itself with any of them. It would be comic relief if they refused the job. I suspect ANY of the three would be just fine with taking a bag of money home and forgetting the pretend-job that was supposed to be the outcome of this process.
