"charles' cigar, 'you just don't fit in'" |
"Charles' Cigar 'just doesn't fit in'" clearly, there is no other explanation for giving so much air time to mr. koppelman with his cigar, other than some sort of product placement deal that either he,or martha stewart omnimedia (mso), or mark burnett productions, or donald trump's organization is deriving, either from the cigar trade association, or cigar aficionado magazine which has featured mr. koppelman in the past. or mso, mark burnett productions or the trump organization could be trading advertising air time with print ads, or some other branding deal. there is no other reason for showing so much air time for cigars; it's so obvious someone is making money off of it. we all know that donald trump can't stand cigarette smoke, so it is shocking that he would permit such blatant advertising for the cigar trade association, on one of his franchise shows, whether or not anyone is getting paid for it. what's even more surprising is that a few months ago, donald trump did a radio public service announcement in favor of giving certain ratings on movies with smoking characters b/c he felt that children's parents should know before they take their kids to see a movie. how ironic for his partnership with mark burnett productions and mso to now flaunt cigar smoking, on a family time slot of 8 pm, knowing that martha stewart appeals to a wide demographic, including teens, and the apprentice appeals to a wide demographic, including young adults that aspire to be ceo's and want emulate the ceo's behavior. if mr. koppelman, martha stewart and donald trump 'inspire' one person to pick up cigar smoking, shame on them.

I am not particularly well informed on the matter, but I don't think Trump has much if any input into Martha's show. FWIW, I can't stand cigarette smoke, but Cigar smoke does not bother me, someone holding an unlit Cigar bothers me even less. But, it is definetly weird.
