This may have been the most humiliating moment in the season -- possibly in the last few seasons -- and it was also the second I decided nobody deserved to win. You don't need a great palette to be a great chef, but you should at least have some idea of what you're working with. Those mistakes weren't just pitiful: they were disqualifiers. Pack up your tongue and get out.

I know we've had smokers on the show before, but it has never been so pathetically obvious that they can't taste things! A lot of their "guesses" were based on texture, since they named things with similar textures to the actual food. (ex: the food was mussels and they named clams and oysters)
