PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.

Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Out of ALL of the contestants this season, he was THE.MOST.CONSISTANT.COOK of them all. On that note, he deserved the win despite his injury and showing up all the others WITH his injury.Kevin's ego got the best of him. HE overplayed his hand w/ his final menu and with that final challenge by trying too hard. Dave was smart keeping things simple. Gordon made the right choice. geekboy "I think what Randy Travis was trying to say was 'What the hell was that?!'" - S. Cowell

I really think towards the end, he got more confident in himself (remember Ariel's total screw up with the chefs at the table in the beginning of this episode? Talk about tongue-tied!). He felt better about things, talked himself into this win, as if he needed to! And became a better spokesperson. From HK's, you don't really NEED to be that spokesperson that someone from Food Network is looking for. He isn't going to have his own cooking show televised. He's running a restaurant, and from last night's preview, he can do that without reservations (ah-get the pun?? LOL). And do it VERY WELL!! I would have been very angry if anyone other than he had won, and I think I saw a twinkle in Gordon's eye all night, every time he looked or talked to Dave. He knew, as well as most of us, this was the clear winner!
