Okay... so us left coasters are impatient... while it may be too late for a blow-by-blow description... can someone please give a re-cap as wellas letting us all know who won? Thanks! (BTW... I agree with you guys about all the recap stuff, although it was interesting to see how many times Andrea sucked in the kitchen. It's wild to think she made it to the final three. I will be happy with either Paula or Danny winning. Not sure who I am pulling for yet. I go back and forth on that one. I was hoping maybe they'd skip having Lacey come back and maybe let Ji come since she had to leave due to injury. I caught the first and last 5 minutes of the episode and my husband said, "Now you don't have to watch it." (What planet is he from???) On the surface, it looks like Paula has the weaker team. She's got LAzy and LaZey, neither of whom has had very many good moments on the show. Andrea has had both really good and really bad moments. Danny's team doesn't seem that much stronger. Ben seems to think he can really cook but has made many screw-ups along the way. Geo has been shown in a relatively good light, up until his hissy fit in the kitchen with Gordon. Carol has been a lot like Andrea but was unable to accept the blame when she screwed up, which always led to the Andrea/Carol confrontations. I guess it comes down to which one can motivate and control their team best during the final dinner service. And I think everyone around here knows who I'm rooting for... That could have spelled disaster - big big! I agree Paula seems to have a weaker team. I hope she has a sit down time with Lazy before it's time to face the heat. What would be funny would be if Paula ended up throwing Lazy out of her kitchen in the middle of service! LOL Paula was smart in planning her menu to think not getting too complicated that the cooks wouldn't be able to handle it. I didn't even tape it!! Oh well, I was in bed all day suffering from 'piglet' flu. Not quite swine flu, but a smaller, less lethal form.
