Today's challenge is halibut - and how to maximize food. Filet and cut perfect 6 oz. portions - as many as possible. The team that does the best, wins. They get 20 min.

I live with 2 people who both have the "bad memory" gene. I can see it in my MIL, so she handed it off to my DH, and he to my DD. They do have selective memory, I'll grant you that, but living with them, I know they aren't putting on.
I'm happy for you that your memory serves you well. Mine doesn't serve me as well anymore, and many of my same aged friends have the same problem.

I would hope that if it was something really important.
Something that your boss already called you on the carpet for not knowing, that you would work on making sure you know it.
It isn't like he never game them a copy of the menu to study from.
Sure you might not be able to do the whole list I'd think on the second go round of what the hack is on the menu at least you could come up with something.
I wouldn't be surprised if his earlier memorization attempts were similar to the last one. Drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette. ~~Wasn't he the one last week that was out smoking when they were supposed to be starting the service?~~ Looking at it I think it was a different one of them. Anywho I'm not sure why some of them are there, they don't seem to be that interested in trying to win.
