I've been poking around RR websites and HK websites and I can't seem to find any info on which of the nine restaunrants at Red Rock Heather got a stake in. I was thinking that it may be contractually obligated as an homage to Hell's Kitchen. I like Gordon, but he strikes me as egotistical enough that any restaurant developed would have to have something like that in it. Does fit with a steak and chop place. As a Las Vegas resident, thought it be great to make a reservation at Heather's new restaurant. I was surprised the next day that I did not hear a Red Rock Casino advertising blitz to announce Heather's restaurant and to take advantage of all the hype. Recognized the steakhouse as the room where Heather made her triumphal entry (but she didn't seem to know any of the staff...hmmmm). So, not finding any definite confirmation of Heather associated with that steakhouse, we called the hotel directly. An operator told us that Heather is not associated with any of the restaurants as of yet, but she was "offered" an interest in Terra Rossa (the italian place) but they had not heard back from her. Huh!? Didn't we hear over and over again that the winner would get "their own restaurant" in the hotel? Weren't Keith and Virginia taken to Vegas and shown the room under construction where the winner would have their restaurant? What does having "your own restaurant" mean to the producers of Hell's Kitchen. Didn't the show imply that the winner would have a hand in all aspects of developement for the new restaurant? So the Red Rock Casino got weeks of free plugs, but ulitmately, we and the winner (Heather) were misled.
