PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

LAST EDITED ON 03-12-14 AT 11:39 AM (EST)Warren Buffett would like to make you a little bet. He's gambling that given exactly one chance at it, you can't pick a perfect men's tournament bracket. If you can, he'll give you a billion dollars. If you can't, no one will be surprised. If you hack the contest server, he's gonna be pissed. So. Anyone up for taking the ultimate full-court shot? Blindfolded? While hanging upside-down? At the exact moment you get struck by lightning? Good luck.

The odds are wrong, but the price is right. If the games are 50/50, then the odds are 1 in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808. However, given that most games are not 50/50 (but also very rarely above 80/20), with good selections the odds are roughly about 1 in 128,000,000,000. This is within the realm of possibility if every person on earth submitted 5-10 brackets and (importantly) all brackets are unique (not the same).

This isn't argument against entering for zero dollars, but is an argument against having any hope of winning. Buffet can figure the odds too, and will never have to pay off.

Apparently, this is only open to Americans. (not that I had a chance of winning but, as was said before, the entry price was right!)
