PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Most of you should know that I am a Montreal Canadiens fan and not a Leafs fan. But I live in Toronto, and am a Canadian hockey fan. So I think it is worth noting that the Toronto Maple Leafs have guaranteed themselves a place in the NHL playoffs. Not a big deal to many teams (16 of 30 make it to the playoffs) but for the Leafs (and especially their rabid fanbase - Leaf Nation) this marks the first time since 2004. Last time they made the playoffs: - one of their current top players, Nazim Kadri, was in grade 8. - Phil Mickelson had just won his first major - Mean Girls was atop the box office - Google had just announced its IPO - Facebook and Twitter weren't around - on a personal note, my youngest son, YoungYofferBoy, was not yet born (he was born in 2005) So congratulations to the TML. I will be cheering for you to succeed in the playoffs, as long as it is not against my beloved Canadiens (which could be the first round!!!)

Not looking so good for the Jets after last nights loss to the Capitals. Shame.

Ballard is the guy who thought it was a good idea to fire Roger Neilson, then after the fans and media threatened to break out the pitchforks, decided he didn't want to fire him after all and asked him to come back onto the bench for the next game while wearing a paper bag over his head to give the illusion of a mystery coach. Naturally, ol' Roger wouldn't do it and showed up for the next game as if nothing had happened.
