"Week #13 NFL Complaining Thread."
The really-being-ratified-honest new NBA agreement has an amnesty clause for owners: you can cut any one player from the roster and have their salary no longer count against the cap. It doesn't have to be used instantly, it's a single cut per team of any contract value, and it may even be possible to trade for someone else's contract problem child and then cut him. If this applied to the NFL -- one player gone, no consequences -- who would you dump? 'My entire fantasy roster' is not an acceptable answer.

No complaints so far.
The Eagles have quickly replaced the Patriots as the team I lvoe to watch lose the most (Patriots replacing Cowboys long ago). I love every second of an Eagles implosion. The only complaint I have is that Michael Vick wasn't suited up on the sidelines with his sorry sad little face watching it happen and being a part of it.

Actually I don't, as Colts victories now would (eventually) mean another team gets to draft Andrew Luck.
Peyton is 36, has had three neck surgeries, and is due a $28 million roster bonus in February. Do the math, and the outcome is clear: He'll be cut.

This could easily be a lawsuit attempt and with his recently-solidified reputation, having people go after him makes perfect sense -- but it also ties into everything we've seen about his lack of character.
A con wouldn't surprise me here, but neither would having every last accusatory word be the absolute truth.

Blech, the Redskins sure are awful.
The announcers toward the end of the game were just getting ridiculous in their Sanchez love by the end of the game. Right after Shonn Green scored his 3rd TD of the game (on a pretty nice run!), the announcers immediately commented on what a great job Sanchez did on that play... HANDING THE BALL OFF.

Of course, I'm bitter because my team doesn't have a QB, so consider the source of that criticism.

I particularly enjoyed Dan Fouts talking about the Redskins missing that field goal which would have given them the lead. Oh, wait...
And once you watch the Sanchise for a while, you'll realize handing the ball off is about 20% of his skill set. Pull there's quarterbacks who can't do it. And no matter what any announcers say about him, it's better than listening to them talk about Tebow.

It was so close until the last five minutes - in spite of bad plays. I thought there was some terrible calls (not roughing the punter and the alleged roughing of Sanchez), but that wasn't the ultimate factor.
I do think we can win 2 of the final 4 (against the Vikings and Eagles). At this point, I'm hoping for a good draft pick in the form of a QB and then go from there.

If there's any good from it, it's that it couldn't happen to a better owner.

The closest the Giants could get would be knocking the Packers out of the NFC bracket half, and that would sort of require making the playoffs. There's now a serious chance for 8-8 to win the NFCEast, but it's not necessarily an NY 8-8 -- and I don't have much confidence for the Giants finishing that high in the standings.
But playing against Aaron Rodgers is starting to feel a lot like going against Tom Brady, at least once you take the later's 'and I'm only doing this because I'm as big a jerk as my coach' factor out. Oh look, he just gained twenty yards. Hey, there's another fifteen. Did you blink? Sorry, that's thirty more and the game. The dark feeling is that if you leave him one second on the clock, he'll run eight plays and still have time to deliver a pizza. And the pizza will have anchovies. Because he knew you wouldn't like them.

*groan* You're right, of course. I plead weekend aftermath and a too-small breakfast. (Also, I had to try and not-think like the BCS for five seconds.)
So it's possible for the Giants to get into the playoffs at 8-8 with the right two wins (but just about any other result should guarantee a turnover at head coach). If they split the Dallas games and still finish at .500 along with someone else... no idea. I am not going to try and work on tiebreaker/all remaining games/strength of schedule/Reidiot moves without a decent lunch.
