aquariaqueen 2616 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Survivor-themed Cruise Spokesperson" 12-05-07, 10:58 AM (EST) "How many losers will have corrective surgery?" I realize that during the competition they can't have corrective surgery done but how many do you think went on to have extra skin removed? It is very common after major weight loss to have an abdominoplasty (getting rid of the apron) done, not only for cosmetic reasons, but health reasons as well. Many of the men definitely need a breast reduction/lift, not to mention the inner thighs and the bat wings reduced. Taking off an apron can be another 15 lbs!!! I would think you have to maintain the weight loss for some amount of time before they do the surgery. The other reason to do that is sometimes you can donate the skin to help burn patients heal while they regrow their own skin. Might as well let someone who needs it get some use out of it. If anyone wants full-body corrective surgery, any reputable, board-certified plastic surgeon would advise having two or three separate procedures. One of Dr Phil's guests was advised by three or four surgeons to have two separate procedures. But, she choose an uncertified surgeon, located in a strip-mall, who did all her surgery at one time.
