LAST EDITED ON 11-13-07 AT 04:36 PM (EST)LAST EDITED ON 11-13-07 AT 04:35 PM (EST) Including tonight's show, there have been three "temptations" involving junk foods. I saw the first two. And, according to TV Guide, there will be a third one tonight. In past seasons, there have been "challenges" involving junk food. Usually transferring it from one place to another. The team who finished first, won the challenge. Season One contestants even strove to build the highest tower, carrying the food in their mouths. I thought that was a stupid activity for people trying to learn healthy eating habits. But, this season takes the cake, no pun intended. To my recollection, in no other season, have contestants actually had to eat the food. Why? On a "weight-loss" show, of all places.

Many people, such as Dr Phil suggest creating a "fail safe" environment, clearing all junk food out of the house and avoiding any restaurant, especially all-you-can-eat, that doesn't offer anything healthy. But, all-you-can-eat is a fact of life. That's why I thought the trip to Jamaica was a good idea. The contestants learned to scan the buffet for healthy options before they started filling their plates. My husband loves Golden Corral. All that variety for one low price. We ate there today. I ate rotisserie chicken breast without the skin, a plain sweet potato, carrots, corn, broccoli, and green beans.
