"Who really owned the gun?"
While watching the pilot episode again yesterday, I realized something about the gun.... just who had it on the plane? If we can believe Sawyer, he got it from a body in the wreckage. We're currently thinking the gun belonged to the marshal, but he definitely wasn't a body, he was injured, but still alive for a day or so. Unless Sawyer thought he was dead, or lied about taking the gun from a body instead of a live casualty, then ... who else might have had a gun on the plane? And might there be more handcuffs?

I've wondered where Sawyer got the gun too. I wouldn't put it past him to have stolen it from the guy while he was laying there with the schrapnel stuck in his chest, but I'm not convinced it was really the marshall's gun. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if another gun showed up sooner or later.

Something else that I saw that has been itching at me.... wasn't there a scene where Sawyer was reading something (looked like a letter to me) and was crying? Was that in the pilot episode? I cannot wait to see Sawyer's backstory. It'll be very interesting, to say the least.

a J Slice original. isn't she something?
