"Lessons Learned..."
Wow, I didn't know The Apprentice was an educational show! It seems Pamela was the only candidate who knew about this and was really trying to get something from the ice cream man to put on the NBC website for the AMA. Actually her question was all for naught as apparently there is no "high level lessons learned from the production of ice cream"!

If you follow the link below, you can get more details about this.

American Management Association Business Lessons Learned from The Apprentice

I thought it would be fun if we tried to figure out which candidate didn't learn the lesson. In short these are the lessons so far:

Week 1: How to conduct a successful creative brainstorming session.

Not sure here, but was Ivana taking notes in week 1 or even listening to this?? Did she manage to spend enough time to make sure she had every ice cream flavor imaginable? She didn't learn her lesson, she wasted so much time brainstorming... geesh!

Week 2: How to make sound business decisions.

Definitely Bradford... well maybe after he was fired he learned the lesson, but we'll never know! The real lesson here, don't EVER forget to pack your bags!!

1. "Week # 3"
Week 3: How to manage a budget.

Well... Apex had a real problem with this one, which cost them the win. Did the flyers really put them over budget or was it the $20,000 fee for Mike Pi-ah-ah-zza? My goodness! These women have NO CLUE! At fault: Maria & Jenn C. combined!

Mosaic almost made a very serious mistake here as well! Andy wanted to risk $40,000 of their $50,000 budget to have a million dollar giveaway!! Then what? Would they have been able to pull off the fanfare of that promotion with only $10,000 left? I'm not so sure. They were lucky they had to go with plan B, as it turned out, it gave them the win.

2. "RE: Week # 3"
But remember, Donald Trump said that Andy had a great idea in the $1M giveaway. (Or whatever it was he said, but it was positive.) That's done a lot in the biz world given more time to accomplish it.

Trump knew they wouldn't have enough time, and knew they'd have to change their plan, which ended up working just as well as the $1M giveaway would have.

3. "Week #4"
Week 4: How to Earn Respect as a Leader.

I think most of the women could take a lesson from this week! The best leader (relatively) was Bradford, the only winning PM so far for Apex. The others are just fumbling, catty witches (with the exception of Jennifer M. who seems to be the only reasonable one on that team!). The one who really didn't learn anything this week was Jennifer C. not only was she not respected by her team, but she just didn't know when to shut up in that boardroom! Oy vey! She also wound up not being respected by the three people who mattered. Carolyn, Bill & DT work like a jury, judging your performance in the task. She opened her mouth and was even rude about it by constantly interrupting them.

Maybe this should be retitled "What Not To Do In Business!"

Week 5: How to Sell Persuasively.

Ummmm, Maria... don't profess to be an expert on public speaking and then twitch and flail on camera!! Of course this lesson is not for the one who was fired. Lesson for Pamela: you can not sail a sinking ship called Apex, even if the captain says, "You take the helm!"

I'm just a squirrel trying to get a nut.
