Maybe The Donald really disapproves of his potential apprentice (Nick/Amy) mixing it up while on tv and just wants to make an example of them, but doesn't fire them. You know, the more I think about this, it's the PM that is responsible for any stupid concepts. Any team member can suggest anything, it's the PM that must approve and implement the stupid concept. It could be Kwame or Amy. Kwame has a history of letting Troy design concepts, or of trying something 'risky' himself. During Amy's only turn as PM, the Marquis Jet Episode, she went along with I think Tammy's jet-airplane-as-phallic-symbol idea, which was also risky. It was Amy's efforts of meeting with the company honchos and trying to design something that would suit them that gave her team the close victory, not just the campaign itself.
