"Abasi is a sure cure for jungle fever..."
I am a white woman who has had wonderful, long term relationships with black men. Abasi makes me ill because of his racism towards his tv partner. I am in a wonderful mixed relationhip! My man's mother and I are very close, color is not an issue...I was shocked when Margaruite's ill treatment occurred; it was blatant racism! Since her last show she got control of herself. (Pych meds??? That's ok)And she was so cooperative...And I admire the "Comrade" woman becauase she put him in check. It's too bad that we remain so divided! Abasi illutrates "if it's eye for eye, the whole world will go blind".

Hey There!

As a Black woman age fifty nine, with a beautiful White daughter in law whom I love, and a couple of lovely biracial grandchildren, Abasi was a sure cure for ANY kind of relationship. He made me sick to my stomach. I was born and raised in Chicago, and brought up mostly in Jewish and Polish communities. We didnt always get along, and I have had some nasty racists experiences, but for the most part, people have stopped fighting the civil rights wars. I live in Minnesota where there are a lot of fake faces and many of these folks wish we would all go back to Africa ( I have never been there!) smile.
The thing is, people like Abasi are so caught up in craziness that they cannot effectively find healing enough to explain their feelings. I feel sorry for his wife and beautiful little girl, especially if he is not willing to become more open minded.
The way that he treated the "Bible" lady, who I thought behaved wonderfully under pressure, was unforgivable. You do not treat people that way, no matter what you think about them.
You do not treat a guest so shabbily.
Ok, I am off my soapbox now. LOL Have a wonderful day!

Ps They should invent a product and bottle it. Call it Abasi:The Cure For Jungle Fever and Any Other Ailments! LOL

He was a cure for a lot of things. One of them being watching "Wife Swap" again....but I have caved.

He was so opposite of what he wanted to portray. I loved it when his "mentor" gave him a piece of her mind.

I have never seen a person so vile in his means of getting his point across. What he didn't understand is that noone will listen to him when he acts the way he does. He's immediatley written off as an idiot and his point and his passion will not be considered nor heard.

There is common decency and he had not one iota of it.

I wish they had sent an African-American mom to his house that didn't believe in what he had to offer in the way he offered it. I think that would have been a better show.

I saw watched the episode as well, it seemed to me that the African American Male (abasi) was simply a racist.
The white woman on the show wasn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer either, she just wouldn't drop the issue about color.
What is with all the "african/ tribal" hoop-de-la? My grandparents came here from Germany, I am not walking around in costumes from the OLD COUNTRY. I am an American, and so is Abasi. That is the point he is missing.

Black, white, green or purple...he was a hateful person!
There was no excuse for the way he acted.
