"trading spouses 11.16"

this ep features a swimsuit/fitness model switching with a pretty run-of-the-mill doormat of a housewife.

so far, i'm sorely disappointed.

both families suck, but the MT family (housewife's kids) suck more. cuz they are thoroughly unappreciative.

but the NY(?) family sucks, too, cuz they are superficial. and the mom is so into herself she doesn't spend enough time with her kids.

so, that's that.

i knew fox wouldn't be able to adequately follow up the god warrior.

This episode was very low on the entertainment level so I really didn't watch it straight through. I felt so bad for the Montana mom. She was doing everything and her kid's treated her with such disrespect and the husbend made a comment that she was the most pampered woman in their neck of the woods!!!! C'mon that poor lady looked sad and tired, far from being pampered. As for the fitness mom she is both clueless and too full of herself to even have awareness of others. I think she's highly confusing life coaching with fitness coaching, since she doesn't seem to pay enough attention to what people are trying to confide in her. I couldn't believe she wanted to talk about diet and exercise with Tianna who wanted to talk about her family's lack of communication!!!! I hope this lady doesn't get paid for what she does. I am glad to see however that the Montana family seemed to come to realize how much their mom does and realizes that everything she does is due to her love for them. I hope they make it up to her by helping her out and sitting down and actually spending time with their mom, after all no one graces this world forever.

Actually, I really liked this episode because it was the exact opposite of the god-warrior. Both families and both moms seemed to have learned something and taken something from the experience. NY mom saw that she DIDN'T have the kind of closeness that she wanted with her family and MT learned that they aught to be at least as nice to their mom as a total stranger.

I like these episodes where the families each end up GROWING as a result of the experience and I think this is definitely one of those. And I think that it was certainly a good experience for all the parties.

I already know you don't, but I REALLY want to believe you look like the Pringles guy. J Slice

That's probably why it was only a one-night show instead of a two-parter.
