"New Wife Swap Episode!!!!!!!!!!"
Last night I was pretty excited to see that ABC was continuing their Wife Swap series. First off where do they get these families? Both families were so extreme but I would much rather visit the home of the etiquette mom any day over the mom of the three burping boys. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous that the Mass. mother thought that it was perfectly acceptable for her children to say such foul things, burp, pass gas and climb around in public places...........what is this lady on? I can understand not wanting to raise children in a stuffy atmosphere and allowing them room to be children and teaching them that no one is perfect but she was so off with her parenting it was scary. I loved when she said that she didn't want to do anything to make her children unhappy and that when they grew up they would be fine because she has let them do what they want when they were younger! First of all children who are used to absolutely no rules do not all of a sudden abide by rules when they are older in fact they would be so much more worse off because when kids become teenagers the trouble they can get involved in is much worse than what an eight year old can get into. I was so glad to see the etiquette mom put some manners and structure into those boys' lives and it was obvious that they wanted it, hopefully their mom doesn't go back to the old way.
