So DH gave me tickets to see Rent when it comes to Norfolk in April as my Valentine's Day gift. I've seen it once before, but he knows how I love going to see musicals and the fact that he's coming with me is quite the self-sacrifice on his part. Anyhoo, we happened to go to Norfolk this past weekend to see Whistle Down the Wind (free tickets from a friend) and I noticed an ad for Rent on the program. Lo and behold, Anwar Robinson from season 4 (whom I loved!) is in the show playing Tom Collins! I'm so excited to hear him again! Also, I can't remember the name, but the winner of South African Idol is playing the role of Roger. Interesting how many Idol contestants go on to do Broadway shows. Winterized by Nutzy.
